I’ve been trying to get this technique down for years and idk why all it took was you saying the input really slow. I guess just slowing down the process of the steps helped me not think too hard on it cuz honestly once you get the first crouch dash to forward input, it becomes more clear on what needs to be done/pressed. bro i literally found out myself in the lab what you said, "once you get the first CD to forward input,it becomes more clear what needs to be done" and it helps so much
Jin main here been practicing on that stuff for a couple of months now and and it's paying off actually but i noticed that if u do the inputs when the game is not on just on the pad practicing i do it effortlessly but when the game is on and i see the character and i do the inputs it kinda becomes harder, also during matches composure is key to be able to do the inputs clearly and correctly
100% agree with the composure, if you aren’t doing attacks from muscle memory and are actively trying to input it with thought, the game because a lot tougher to play since you’re trying to do 3 things at a time with only 1 thumb

Yo man this helped a lot I was always just trying to press the forward and down button at the same time but this method works a lot more consistently.
