Nice job on showing how to flush the system. This is called a deep flush. Consider taking a sheet of photo paper (a bad print) and advance it through the printer, pulling the printer power plug when it is 1/2 way through. Now you have a sheet of water proof paper under the print head. Put you paper towel to the left, and move the print head over your photo paper. Put a marker or object 3/4" to 1 " high under the right side of the printer. This will help the flushed liquids flow to the left to the paper towel. Hope this helps. I'm going to have to get a new printhead for my Epson 1400. It's had clogs for 5 years now, never could get it fully unclogged even removing the printhead to clean the nozzle side and then flushing cleaning solution through it via a syringe and hose. I think maybe there is corrosion or something on the nozzle side instead of it being an ink clog as I use dye ink and so flushing it with cleaning solution should clear any ink clogs out. I even set the print head in a small plastic tub with like a 1/4" deep cleaning solution so the nozzle could soak in cleaning solution for a week, and that didn't do anything.
One thing I hated about my Epson 1400 is it would do frequent head cleanings. I remember printing out a bunch of full page photos, and every 5th photo, it would stop to do an automatic head cleaning for whatever reason. And sometimes, it would do an automatic head cleaning on the 5th print, and then after the cleaning, it would have clogs that I would then have to do manual head cleanings to try and fix the clog that was caused by the automatic head cleanings. So annoying, but the prints are pretty good.
Hello. I would like to know if someone can help with this question...Can I move the board (PCB) from an OEM cartridge to a refillable cartridge? In other words, get rid of the ARC so that I can use the resetter with a refillable cartridge. Why? If the printer thinks the refillable cartridge is empty, you go through the resetting procedure which alway cleans the head. There is always one color that is just about empty. They are never in sync. I don't want that. Also, it will stop printing in the middle of the page when it thinks the cart is empty, which wastes the page. Costly and wasteful (and annoying) if doing DTF/DTG, etc. Thanks
Hi Kevin, Thank you for your video, however I have a new Epson WF-7725 and started with Sublimation ink and the printer accepted the cartridges now I want to go back to original genuine cartridge & it won't accept the Epson cartridges it says INITIAL CATRIDGE DETECTED PRINTER ALREADY INITIALIZED how do I initialize the genuine Epson cartridges ? Many thanks
😢 my refillable cartridges won’t recognize how do I know if it’s a firmware or software issue for the 1430? I have 3 sets of cartridges none are recognizing. I’ve replaced the CSIC clips and the board idk which firmware I need to be I bought this from someone else but it shows hasn’t been updated since 2021 please help
Thanks for subscribing to my channel. Sometimes the error is not caused by the firmware or CSIC board (of course they should be checked) but by the printhead. Make sure you have a working printhead by putting on a testing unit.
@@BCHTechnologies print head has been changed I did find your other video about the firmware it was last updated 2021 but I purchased it from someone. The firmware get half way to about 59% then got stuck. I tried it again now it says failed. I wish you were closer I’ll come in for a repair 😭
I HAVE REFILLED MULTIPLE CARTRIDGES USING THIS AND OTHER METHODS AND IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH ALL. WHEN PRINTING HEAD TEST BARELY ANY LINES PRINT. IVE RUN THE HEAD CLEANING 100 TIMES AND EVEN REPLACED THE HEAD WITH A BRAND NEW ONE THINKING IT WAS DAMAGED AND NOT SPRAYING. WHEN PULL THE REFILL PLUG I ADDED THE CARTRIDGE IS UNDER PRESSURE, SHOULD THERE BE AN AIR INLET THATS MAYBE CLOGGED OR IS THERE AIR BUBBLES TRAPPED? IVE PULLED INK FROM THE BOTTOM WITH A SYRINGE AND IT HASNT HELPED

You probably using the “I” cartridge. For the newer models, you can use the starter cartridge only once.

Your cartridge is not venting properly. So the ink cannot flow. You either have a blocked vent hole or the cartridge vent is blocked inside.
