    hands down the best step by step breakdown video I've come across in my long search in getting my hand me down MS 193t running. I was about to chuck it adter doing everyting and anything I watched. out in long days and nights tore it apart so many times i can do it blindfolded but thanks to your video today Sat Sept 3rd my saw came to life. thanks man I'm getting drunk and cutting some shit up! God bless

    I have that same model and it’s a great little saw. Once you get it all tuned up I think you’re gonna love it. It’s been really dependable for me and with a sharp chain it cuts great. So I think it’s worth taking the time to fix up. Thanks for the demo, I hope you get it running without too much trouble.

    I have one just like that one, it had the same problem. I took it all apart is easy make sure taking pictures to assembly back the way it was. Clean the piston and cylinder really good and fixed the problem, now is running very strong.

    It was disappointing to see that the steps for removing the spark plug were skipped since that's why I was looking for a video.

    I have the same saw which had similar symptoms and mine was not carb related... once I pressure tested I noticed I had a air leak from my seals and my bottom end was cracked. food for thought always vacuum pressure test just to eliminate air leaks I thought my idle screw and low jets were shot. I was about to order a stihl oem carb... great tip on separating the handle, I have learned the hard way when everything fell out on the work bench lol....

    I grabbed one of these at a garage sale for free. It runs like a raped ape. I only have a chainsaw for around my property so I've never owned a higher end saw. Used to a 16" craftsman and the weight difference alone is mind blowing. I've had it for 3 years and it's still going hard.

    Thank you. Great Video. Between you and another guy, I have been able to get my 192 running good enough. I'll probably replace the carb now that I see how cheap they are. But this gets me going for now.

    I have the same saw with the same issues. Thanks for making this video. I think I just need more tinkering with my adjustment screws. I'm going to throw in a new plug just because. Thanks again. I really appreciate it

    If you just pull that carburetor straight out then twist around you. Hook it without taking the handle loose I did about 15 times yesterday makes it so much easier

    Hell ya great vid subs...myself just got me a good running 193t for 250:a lil pricy for used but it's like new condition, I wanted a 200t but shit if I can improve what I use at work ms193 Ms 291. my fav the 660 I'm a climber build and love this type of shit
    ok I'm low on money but I'm dedicated to my dream running my own jobs. And if I had a silver spoon like most I'd have half of what I learned with a struggle trial/ error the knowledge is worth 1000000$ I'll sub. I'm not a certified mechanic but as yourself I'm proud of what I do and success is the only option

    I have the same saw and purchased the same type tune up kit. Unfortunately, those kits appear to be put together by someone in China who has never seen this saw. All those hoses that come in the kit don't fit the MS192T. Must fit some other saw, but not the MS192T. The carbs from China mostly work as good as OEM though in my experience. No need to disassemble that handle side cover unless something inside there breaks

    Ever think to check fuel filter in tank and fuel lines. Possibly crude inside carburetor?

    1/4 turn on the low, 3/4 on the high and adjust rpm to allow chain slight movement per manual.

    Check the rubber boot between the carby and the cylinder. If there is a hole or an air leak in this boot you will have trouble getting the saw to run.

  • @rswhalen1
    @rswhalen1 3 года назад +2

    The most difficult part of this job is the removal of the spark plug rubber boot cover which you fail to mention. This is different than the rubber boot that actually holds the Elec line to the spark plug. The removal of the first boot requires a lot of force to pull up and out of the way. I’d not recommend re-installing this unnecessary boot. It puts undo stress on the real plug boot.

    Those I found out are cheap versions of the Stihl MS200T which is more of a professional saw. I have one of them and found out they are seriously underpowered.

    • @BRENDANTHERED
      @BRENDANTHERED 5 лет назад

      For a tree saw though, they sure can do a lot of work. Underpowered compared to a bigger saw, yes... I’ve done a lot of cutting with mine.

    • @andrewlafogg4041
      @andrewlafogg4041 5 лет назад +1

      Yes it's a arborist saw that cost about $330 brand new vs the ms200t which was over $600 in its day, 37mm vs 40mm.

      Its unfortunate that the Government has ruined these little saws. I have a 28 year old Husqvarna that I've owned since new and never had to clean or adjust the carburetor. It just runs rich so a bit of crap doesn't bother it.

    Is there a difference between the ms193t and the ms193t in parts Like the air filter and spark plug for example. I notified can find more parts on eBay and Amazon for the ms192t than my 193t I just bought.

    Did you ever figure out why oil was coming out? I have the same saw, and I ordered the same kit as you and will try to adjust everything like you did, but was wondering about the oil that was on your bench top.

      @@rkshell1975 when the engines running oil is being pumped constantly reguardless if the blades turning. just like the old homelites I beleave. I cleaned my carburater but forgot which mixture screws went were. the screws don't match actually ones tapered and ones strait and round at the tip. I think its why my saws idling odd but runs great.

      Bar oil coats through port top side of clutch I belive. as clutch spins it soils, leakes, coated The chain although it does spit out it. Will also settle down as seen. Could be wrong 15 min in my guess is carb screen. I remove mine day 1. Not advise just what I do.
