I have the perfect yarn for this. My daughter just moved into her 1st apartment and bought herself a dollar store stocking to save $$.. Making this today with a pink fur cuff to match her white and pink sparkle tree!! She's going to be so excited. 😊 Thank you for the tutorial. Beautiful stocking!!

I just wanted to come thank you again. I am so in love with this pattern. I'm now almost done with the 7th one, one more and my family has new, handmade, beautiful stockings! Plus I've been sharing this everywhere! I have a crafting Facebook group, plus I belong to another, I shared your link there. I've told everyone how amazing you are at explaining and showing and I know there are lots of people that are wanting to try it out.
I hope it gets you loads more subscribers.
Thank you so very very very much!

OH MY GOODNESS! Followed along with you on the first one. It came out great, except my tension was just too tight. But... made another and it is PERFECT! Instead of tassels I'm actually putting on a tag with names. But that's all that's left. Oh... and 6 more! Lol
I haven't even needed to check directions for the second one. Very proud of myself lol.
But I also have to say, you're an amazing instructor! I just love your videos! You've brought back my interest in crocheting again. In a week and a half I've made 2 of these and a C2C throw!
    THANK YOU!

I'd wear those! Would keep your feet warm around the house during the holidays! They remind me of the stockings I buy from Costco by Jane Beecher.

This is the sweetest stocking I have ever seen. It's the month of April and I am just getting started on making 50 stockings for my sister-in-laws downtown store.
Wool-Up Chunky yarn in white is really nice for this.
Thanks for the tutorial. -love that trim as well.

I really like that you share links with your tutorials, i may not always use them but there is many times i will and it's nice to have them to refer to, i think it's very helpful when you have sets like this, the stockings, tree skirt, pot holder covers ect to be able to find them all in one place, sometimes it's a pain searching for each item separately. This will be my entire set up next year, i LOVE IT! Not to mention, i think these sets will so well at our local Apple Fest & craft tables we have in early oct ever year! So im excited to make up a few of these sets in variety if colors ❤

I am new to crocheting but am in love with the looks of this pattern. I just had my first grandchild and made him a pumpkin hat, but want to do the stockings shown. I rely on video, do you happen to have a video of the larger stocking as well? I can't tell but I think the small one will be too small, so would like to make my daughter, son in-law and grandson the larger one. Or the parents the large and the baby the small. Beautiful!!

    • @mjsoffthehook
      @mjsoffthehook  Год назад

The video is only for the small. The pattern includes the large stocking. It is made the same way, so you can follow along with the pattern and video to make it.

Just finished the stocking part and finished the 4th row of the fur. The fur is making it heavy, any reason why I couldn’t stop without a fold over top? Or does that really give it a super cozy look? Thanks for the tutorial. You made it SO easy to figure this out.

I like the fold over but it's up to you and how you think it looks.

I happen to have 2 skeins of the bulky yarn and whipped up the stocking part. I have to get some fur yarn to finish it off. Nice and easy . I can’t wait to finish it over the weekend

Is there an easy way to make the stocking facing the other direction? Like for the “other foot” if these were socks.

I love this pattern but I’ve had to pull it out 3 times already. For some reason it is swirling around the stocking instead of a straight line.
