matt hid the sounds on stream by having game volume down and only using notch 4 the whole time. and it sounds like when doing 40 that theyve used 170 run sounds but have put them really quiet

I used to work in Aston and that was a great reproduction. The bridge actually looks like that the only thing missing is the graffiti and a few knuckle dragging villa fans.
Seems they got some decent recordings and messed up the implementation to an extreme magnitude.
Nothing unusual for DTG
This route sums up why I gave up with Dovetail routes years ago. A lot of it seems very lazy and cash-grab still with no sign of improvement, quite a lack of attention to detail shown in the route with badly aligned assets and no thought about passenger routing etc. You know there's something wrong when the standard response is that we need to wait for a soundpack before it's worth using the route.
Really enjoying this new route but I cannot believe they did not model Villa Park as you can see it for miles around at Aston! Cracking video Tom & I'll be making some scenarios for this shortly... :-) Ben
DTG must have used a Milk Float for recording the train Sounds.
Can you imagine if Mark was testing this route/train? 😂 Great job Tom for keeping your cool. 😜

I can't believe the number of stray pedestrians I've killed so far as they step aimlessly off the platform and splat straight through the cab window. Maybe they're supposed to be ghosts or something. Also had some strange cases of the 323 just not responding to braking (using D key or HUD) so I'm having to use the Class 350 instead just so I can stop at stations. How the hell did this get through testing. Hopefully there will be some fixes soon.
I won’t be using the Class 323 on The Birmingham Cross City Line. I will be using Class 350s instead. Until the AP Pack comes out anyway.
Tom, my 'Cntrl,Shift+F1' lighting keeps doing the same and it drives me mad as everything looks super exposed at night lol. Route is pretty useless until AP pop along with an EP for the 323 - nice review though mate 👍
I'm new to all this but i used to ride this line everyday as a kid with my grandad in the 80's when the good old DMU's were running on there. Can't they put a DMU on this Cross City Line as nostalgia, so much better than the garbage LM Class 323?

This wont be available on XBOX. DTG or another developer for TSW2 would need to create it from scratch
I assume that this will go like the North London line did with so many add ons as time goes on, hopefully the Trent Valley line has already been added by somebody, as to we shouldn't expect the sounds to be as good as AP is a bit poor that after we have bought this we then have to pay someone else to make it better thats DTGs job to release it when its good enough

intresting facts on bromsgrove station , time on video if you look to your right at 1:20:44 u will see where the old station used to be ,
The route looks good i enjoyed playing it last night, it is my local line and a few things are missing like the Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield tv transmitters witch are both over 1000ft High and dominate the skyline everything else looks pretty good, AP definitely need to come and rescue the train tho! The sounds are terrible!!!
also it looks like the three spires of Lichfield cathedral, which should be visible from City station, are not there

@@rossoliver1229 thats a key landmark that I wanted to see on the route, given cathedral views from railways tend to be a popular sight like we've seen in the likes of Durham, York and Truro
@@AymanTravelTransport playing it this afternoon I noticed a few key landmarks in birmingham missing as well, notably the bt tower and villa park

Why does the sound of the train sound like it is going through a tunnel or over a bridge when its moving
Because there is no running sounds or sense of movement such as track joints, flange squeel or bogie noise etc
Is this the new tsw3 UK route ?
This is on Train Sim Classic. But yes this route is coming to TSW3
