Very nice job. Great project. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge lit. Keep Making. God bless.
When I said stay hydrated, the pants A/C isn’t what I was meaning but that’s brilliant! Will be using that here soon. Also, I think you said you’re a farrier but now I’m thinking you might also be a sheetmetalist.
I got started in metal work doing auto body repair and restoration as a pre-teen in my neighbors shop, so sheet metal sculpture is kind of second nature, and blacksmithing is actually the tangent off of that.

Thank you!
Years ago I tried to reforge a Harbor Freight hammer. It crumbled! I think it was cast iron?
Most likely just got it too hot. Pretty common for tool steel to do that if you try to work it too hot.

..yep, Hopsings Fortune is a good source. Danged yard sales around here want new prices...
Yeah, yard sales have really turned into an extension of eBay, sadly.
You forgot to add a link to your hammer handling video.
I added a card (the pop-up in the top right corner), but I should put one in the description. Thanks!
