My goal has always been to be able to bleach my hair as light as possible in as few rounds with as little damage as possible and this has turned out to be the best method so far! It's great for anyone looking for a light base to paint rainbow colors on and get the brightest and most vivid results!

I tried the rubber band method when coloring my hair before but I have so much that I gave up 😂 but I'm getting ready to bleach my hair after stripping the red to go bright pink, orange and yellow, and I was wondering how the heck I was going to manage the application. You just saved me from having to beg someone to help!

I’ve noticed that there are leftover nice-looking gray bits in your hair before you apply bleach-does this affect the end result in a negative way if you’re trying to achieve silver again? Play was white four a little bit but then went super metallic silver really loved it and likely did it with semi permanent colors-I’ll don’t ever have money like ever end I mean being disabled in America is exponentially financially draining so I’ve just been kind of letting it fade but I am still applying semi permanent vegan gray dyes-mostly manic panic toners and their gray lines etc. and so overtime it has gotten darker but my hair is still a very true slate gray with Hensel blue that I I don’t mind at all and I actually feel like this color is incredible and unique - however I am just ready to get back to white or very very light silver and was wondering if bleaching over a semi permanent gray that has already been treated underneath Will strip it fine, but I am worried about green tones coming through as I have seen that happen and those are pesky Dash any advice? Omg thank you!! I was looking at some of my very oldest bleaching tutorials compared to how I do it now and to say there's a big difference is an understatement. I'm so glad I kept trying new things and am super proud of this one! I had to take mine out for a couple days and then switch to two separate piercings on each side so once it fully heals I'm going to put the bar back in but it's been such a hard healing process!! I filmed this vid before I went the bright red that I am now and I think I'll probably stick to this color for the summer (I'm gathering tons of red accessories to go with it! haha)

would you recommend this method for someone who has never bleached or colored their hair before at all?? i’ve been wanting to do something drastic for years but never had the confidence to do it by myself nor the money to pay a professional. but this method looks promising!
I would definitely do the roots last, for a more even lift, but otherwise this is about the easiest method.

I was a licensed cosmetologist back in 2003. I used to be a color addict and had 2 big chops (cutting off the bleach) in the past 15 years. Last big chop in 2013 no color since. Long story long, I was trained proper coloring treatment but have been out of the color and hair game (other than my own hair) for so long I don’t even know what products are good.
How would you rate blonde brilliance in comparison to this brand of bleach?

Did you feel the 35 developer with blonde brilliance was too much for your hair even with the ION treatment?

Technically, you can use any developer with any bleach powder. I just like to use the same line because I know I really like how they work together but I think it’s fine to mix brands!

OKAY SO I HAVE A QUESTION! MY HAIR IS Faded (it was blue &purple) WOULD I BE ABLE TO BLEACH MY HAIR OR WOULD IT NOT WORK CUS I HAVE Faded BLUE ??!
bleach is still gonna lighten, even if you have some color in still (or a lot of color, for that matter). so yes, it will work, but also note that bleaching hair that's already been bleached is going to cause further damage in that hair, so be careful.
also just fyi i'm not a professional or anything, just someone w/curly hair who bleaches it at home too!

Camille you can turn your phone to back of your head and mirror it your tv so you can perfectly see the back of your head.
I wish I could connect my phone to my TV but one thing I do sometimes is put my camera behind me and hook it up to my laptop that I can look at in front of me and it’s pretty much the same effect! And it’s so convenient when I’m already filming, but these days I time it, so my boyfriend is over and he can check the back 😂

she used the rubber bands to tie the tiny sections up and used those sections as a guide!! so i guess the many rubber bands for sectioning is where its name comes from :)
You can buy them at different places. Sally’s has them sometimes & so does Target. (Not sure if that was your question)

Bleaching is to make the base light enough to put a color on top. Once you bleach it you can do any color on top, it isn’t the finished look!
