I got baptised at Pastor Jack's church and attended Church On The Way for many years. He was an amazing pastor and scholar and just a sweet, wonderful man of God. And as a bonus, I carpeted the parsonage where he and Anna lived. And he was the same man behind the pulpit as he was at home. He will be missed by all of us whose lives were personally impacted by his teachings, songs, books and The Spirit Filled Life Bible.
His "Spirit Filled Life" Bible has always been a blessing to me. I was just reading one this morning. May God's peace fill his family's hearts at this time. He was truly a blessing to the Body of Christ.
I greatly respected Pastor Jack Hayford, particularly his logical and calm teaching skills regarding the Bible, and the Christian way of life. He was never easily swayed by new fangled ways of teaching the Bible.
Prayers of comfort and peace that only God can give for the family and friends 🙏 ❤️ ☝️ I enjoyed Pastor Hayford teachings with such calm, direct and unabashed delivery of the Word of God. Church on the Way - Do not invite Pastor John MacArthur to his funeral as you did with Pastor Bauer. Pastor MacArthur used that funeral to fuel his Pentecostal hate, and I have heard him describe Pastor Hayford as, “The Pentecostal Pope.” Keep the guy away!

I loved his teachings and watched him.when I lived in Miami. I lived in Los Angeles and had no idea that his Church was so close.
