I love love that you’re using miscellaneous pieces you already had. It makes the process so much more interesting, creative & satisfying than a digi kit/set. I’d ❤️ if you did this more often because it feels much more creative.
I’m so excited that you like the glue. I feel like you use a lot less glue with the fabric art glitter glue than what we use with the fabric-tac. Hopefully it will become more popular and easier to get for everyone.
Blessed Sunday Gayle! This Beautiful Christmas journal is really coming along! With all the ephemera you tucked into it, it surprises me you still need more, how beautifully stuffed! I never get tired of Christmas so I hope you will be decorating more and more Christmas journals, I’m just a kid at heart the holidays always makes me happy. Have a beautiful day! 💖
This Christmas journal is wonderful. The images of the children are adorable! They are the type of images I grew up with and I still love seeing them. Can’t wait to see more ephemera made for this one. Have a blessed day!
Good morning Gayle!! Another sleep less night, so I'm late this morning. 🤣 This journal is gorgeous and I love the fabric ruffles and lace on the edges!! Have an awesome Sunday...💙💚💙💚
It was wonderful watching you decorate this journal. You add layer after of holiday magic with each addition. Although I did not originally intend to, I have decided to start a Christmas journal this week as a present for myself. You have given me the courage to try the new glue as well. Thank you.
I looove this! Having all the bits made and at your fingertips is something I’ve started doing. Thank you for sharing your talent and teaching us so much!
I just did a splatter paint of notebook paper for Christmas journal learned from your video. They turned out so cute. Did a bunch of midnight sky hues. Splatter white and then glitter for stars the white splatters. The red, green white combos are endless. Thanks Gail for showing how to!
Hi Gayle, just love your Christmas journal ,I’m just back from a sewing retreat wonderful group of ladies we call it the BigHoose love Angela Scotland X
The prep work really went far! It’s so fun to see the Home for he Holidays journal come together so quickly. It’s beautiful Gayle and it personifies sitting in front of a giant fireplace wrapped in a cozy blanket, sipping warm cocoa and writing in the Home for the Holidays journal. Love how everything is coming together.
This journal is coming together so beautifully, such lovely touches you are adding. I love how you share your thought process. I probably talk out loud while I'm crafting too, but the cats don't care how I get to the end result.
Morning Gayle. How funny the craft box is my friend Liz’s thrift craft shop here in Denver. It is so fun to shop there. I find lots of goodies there. Glad others are discovering it too. I also bought some of the fabric glue there. Hope you are having a fun Sunday. Hugs💜💜💜Vernie
Love all the ruffles and lace! 😍❤️ I really liked how the post card with the poinsettias looks now that the glaze is dried as well. That will be so beautiful in a journal! 😀❤️
Gayle, your videos always give a boost to get off my duff and into my craft room. Thank you so much for sharing so many clever ideas and inspiration! 🥰
Good Morning Gayle! It was great watching you this morning fill your journal, love all the ruffles on it. Have a nice relaxing Sunday and see ya tomorrow. 👍🍂🍂🍂
Good morning Gayle! 💕 Lovely, lovely journal! Very interested in the fabric art glitter glue. Did it dry transparent, matte, not shiny under the lace? You may tell us shortly (I’m only half way thru video😀), but I’ll forget to ask if I wait. 😂 Still in my jammies, hair not combed. I have ink and glue on my hands, tag corners snips falling out of my sleeves and floating in my coffee. Also stickles on my nose. It’s been a nice relaxing morning. 😁 Have a great Sunday everyone! 💕
Oh Gayle this video is so helpful. Seeing how methodical you are with planning & decorating. Is there a video on making this cover? And putting the pages together? Can you please share the size. I am really enjoying your channel.
I haven't finished the video yet, so I don't know if you put them in at the end, but I keep wondering: what about the postcard pockets that you made?!?!
I use regular Glitter Glue on fabric and it works just fine. I think it reads on the bottle that it works on fabric. Wonder if the formulation of Glitter Glue Fabric is any different from regular Glitter Glue? I love that you are using up old Yule stuff as I'm doing the same with my Halloween things, and will do the same with autumn and winter.
They are journals for memory keeping, writing, saving pictures or momentos. They are a beautiful version of journals. A lot of people keep a “December Daily” where they record the happenings of each day of December in the Christmas themed journals. Hope that helps! ❤️
Hunny, at 51:02 you insert a tag with the same child as the adjacent page, I'm particular about such things, so thought I'd let you know in case you are too...lol If not, please ignore my knit-picking comment! 😅

I love the plaid ruffles. They are perfect here !!
The double belly bans is a really good idea.
It's so restful and a pleasure to watch you decorate up with such an eye for beauty and detail. An enjoyable afternoon spent with you.
I’m so excited that you like the glue. I feel like you use a lot less glue with the fabric art glitter glue than what we use with the fabric-tac. Hopefully it will become more popular and easier to get for everyone.
I’m definitely going to try it. The fabric-tac gets so thick and glumpy, it’s hard for me to use.
@@cherylrobertson5629 I thin it down with some acetone and shake it up really good. Works great.
What's the company or mfg name on the glue?
@@melodypowell4042 art glitter. You can buy it directly from them. It’s cheaper.
So fun watching you decorate this beautiful journal...all the vintage children images are so sweet!! ❤🤗

The Art Glitter fabric is definitely more sticky than the normal Art Glitter. I can tell the difference in how sticky my fingers are. ❤️

Turning out so cute! So what weight of paper do you print on? Also what weight is your copy paper you use for your coffee dyed pages?
I print on 26 lb matte photo paper from Red River Paper Co and I coffee dye on cheap copy paper from Costco. I’m not sure the weight of it. ❤️
Good morning Gayle. 🇦🇺
Morning Sandra! ❤️
Hi Gayle have you a vido from the start of this journal because it is beautiful. ❤
My playlist “Christmas 2022” has all the videos on the series of Christmas journals I’m making this year. ❤️
Hope this isn't a stupid question, but I've never seen these before. How and what are they used for once finished? BTW...they are beautiful!!
