Dear Periwinkle Stitcher! We are so grateful to you for sharing our silk velvet strawberry kits with your lovely viewers. We have received sooooo many orders in just a few days. Claire and I are building each one right now. You can’t imagine how your generous words about our kit has given us much-needed exposure. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And, greetings to all from California!
Just finished watching your fabulous video, Sian! Thank you for your time and positive & creative energy💙🩷🩵 I love your taste in projects... absolutely darling!!!
Hi Sian, Finally had a chance to watch your RUclips on our travels around UK and Ireland. So inspiring you have such a natural talent of finding beautiful things to stitch and make. I wish I could order a whole bunch of things from the stitchery to take home with me! I might have to get my daughter to bring some things home to Australia on her Christmas visit. The hanging star cushions are divine as is the quilt 💖
Please don’t worry about how long you are taping. I love watching and perhaps if you would slow down I could capture more information. As it stands I watch and rewatch 😂. Nicki Franklin is coming to Los Angeles in January 2025!!! She will have two classes at French General!! You are so lucky to enjoy Nicky there in the UK. Love your work, please feel free to share it all.
Sian, all of this, every single thing, is so fantastic. You are entertaining and have a beautiful collection of WIPs. And your embroidery - so inspiring. Thank you for another great video!
Hello Sian well that was a feast for the eyes! Thanks for keeping me company whilst I stitch. I’m glad that the geisha bag arrived safely to you, enjoy using it. I too ordered the cozy tales book, the cross stitch designs are so sweet. Funny you should mention Donna Rae @flanneljammiesfarm as I’m flying to the US at the end of the month to see/stay with her 😊😊 Looking forward to your next episode. Happy Stitching best wishes Natalie 🪡🧵💜
Always happy to see a new video from you Sian and I enjoyed reliving our time together. I love seeing all that your projects and plans. You always share so much loveliness.❤
Hi Sian, such a fab video as usual. Love seeing all your projects. I loved the embroidered piece with those beautiful blue flowers. And I loved the embroidered book you showed before. You do realise you’re a total enabler. 😂 I love seeing your quilts and that fabric you’d bought with the fleece for the backing was gorgeous. I’ve only just started using a sewing machine so thank goodness I can’t spend on things like that yet!! Look forward to your next episode. Take care x
So happy to have found you on IG and now on this!! I had no idea what Flosstube was & took the weekend to binge all of your episodes while I stitched. I only recently go back into cross stitching after 20 year break, raising kids. Thank you for sharing all your lovely makes, inspiring us all. I want to be friends from across the sea that maybe someday get to meet in real life! I too found the Stitchery over the summer and fell in love with all of her work, watching Nicki's tutorials and learning embroidery. Thank you so so much!!
So happy that I fell upon your channel! All of your work is just stunning! I will go back and start from FlossTube 1 - exciting! Have a wonderful holiday season!
Love the sweater you have on. Your gifts are beautiful the bags are exceptional. Pumpkin Spice is so cute and beautiful colours. Always enjoy seeing your progress on your WIPS. Happy stitching
Thank you for making these videos, they are a joy to watch and your work is beautiful! Am enjoying every second of them and this one is no exception, just wonderful!
Another wonderful and inspiring video❤ I so enjoy sitting down to see enjoy all of the lovely things that you are working on or have finished. Happy stitching! 🪡
Lovely to see you again Sian. Congratulations on all your beautiful finishes. Love them. Your are making wonderful progress on Charlotte- I have not stitched on mine in several weeks, I so need to pull her out again. Happy stitching❤❤
I'm quite late from the air date of this flosstube but I just had to say hello from a blissed-out new subscriber in Texas. All your stitching is absolutely stunning and such a feast for the eyes and the spirit. Sunday is my "stitch all day if I feel like it" day and I am so enjoying binging your videos today while I work on a large project. Incidentally I'm so happy to watch and support a Welsh stitcher - my other passion besides stitching is genealogy and I am a descendant of Welsh Quakers from Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire. I'm extremely proud to have Welsh heritage and often wear a t-shirt that says "The meek shall inherit the earth...the brave get Wales!" ;)
Oh thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoy stitching today all day - sending all good wishes to you from sunny Wales today :) My grandparents farmed in Pembrokeshire!!
I'm making Haystacks and Pumpkins too! Just a little tip if you haven't already cut the fabrics for the pumpkins you need to add 1/2" to the cut. Cut 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 & 5 1/2 x 6 1/2. That way you will have enough room to add the quarter inch seam allowance. Happy stitching ❤❤❤
I absolutely love spending time with you, Sian!!😍 I love seeing all your projects, especially because you do so many different types of things. And you are very, very good at ALL of them! Your embroidery projects are so beautiful. I know I’ve told you before that it makes me want to try it - but a bit scared because I’ve never done any embroidery. Thank you for sharing all your joy and beauty! 💚Michele
Another lovely flosstube! You’re so inspiring! I got the Acufactum book and the same quilt kit from the shop in Canada! And also a pillow kit that has stitching on it as well as my first Nicki Franklin stitchery kit of a lovely Christmas tree.
Thank you for the lovely Floss Tube! Your enthusiasm is contagious... today I was stitching and watching and finally finished this episode. Here in Colorado it is blustery and the vibrant maple leaves are flying and swirling to the ground. I can't wait for the first freeze- it's late this year. I hope you enjoy all of your creative endeavors! P.S. What is a WIP GO?
Hello! WIP is Work in Progress and WIP GO is a game Jessie Marie came up with (Facebook and or instagram)! You assign WIPs/projects to 24 numbers at the start of each year and she calls 2 numbers a month and you work on those - like bingo - its a lot of fun and you really get things finished that way :)
I too am working on the Stacy Nash Christmas at Hollyberry Farm. I am stitching on 36 count Crème Brûlée by Tabby Cat. I started in the lower left and have the lower half of the house done now. It got put in time out for a bit since I was struggling with what floss to use on the window tops and roof. I wanted something verigated like in the picture. But that called for floss has changed since the chart was released and I didn’t like it. I was able to discuss with Stacy at the Quilters Station retreat in September and we came up with a plan :)
I just so enjoy all of your beautiful stitching and all that you show. I treasure each minute of your videos, they are so inspiring! Looking forward to next time; and happy travels!
Just back from a week away and your my first Flosstube I Look For To Catch up With, So Many Lovely Projects To Keep You Busy Happy Stitching Till Next Time Lynn
Hi Sian! I so enjoyed your video and the photos of you and my friend Roberta! So nice you two could meet up! Happy stitching til next time! ✂️🪡🧵❌❌❌🍂🍁💕💕
I’m on holiday at the beach and what a lovely way to start it, I love the long video for I am stitching on Sarah Milthorp and got so much done. Hollis Hands is a great shop, I seem to find some unique charts there that nobody carries. As soon as I saw the Christmas Swan, I thought of you. I have to start stitching the Autumn one soon. I got the Surfine Silk conversion for Regina from the Attic, it is beautiful, need to get back to that. When I use steam on the back of my stitching, I have a piece of muslin that I use and only use it for cross stitch. I just lay it on top and it works great. I miss Mary on the baking show too, what a great idea to stitch with the show. Love the embroidery especially the September piece, colors are beautiful. Quilting is amazing, can’t wait to see the star done. Love all the finishes, WIPS and dough bowl! I keep looking at the velvet strawberries but I may now get them, thank you for sharing how they were packaged. My Mom is from England and used to go back every year but oldest son was obsessed with Rupert the Bear, my Mom brought so many books back with her and we still have them. Enjoy your embroidery class and have fun.
Another lovely episode, you’re so inspiring ! You’ve certainly enabled me 😀I’ve taken the plunge and ordered some kits from Nicki Franklin. I’m starting with the sampler to practice my stitches and can’t wait for it to arrive. Postage to New Zealand was actually very reasonable I thought. Have a great holiday
I’ve just spent a lovely evening with you, decompressing from work. Thank you so much. Thank you for so much inspiration. ❤ the shout outs…that’s how I found you.
Well done with the quilt work. It is much better than you said, so please be proud of your work. Keep up the efforts. Your embroidery is stunning, as are the various cross stitch work you showed. I enjoyed it all. Thank you. 😊
“How it began is lovely” and I love the sentiment behind it. 💖Beautiful project bags. Your WIPs are lovely and you have such a great eye for matching fabrics to the charts. Have a great week! 🙂
Hi thank you for the advice on my last query. I have now purchased Kringle and Woolard (Plum Street) with 28 count aida ( not sure i was ready for linen) and the suggested yarns and off I have jumped!
I absolutely Love every single thing you showed & stitched!!! You are an enabler & an inspiration. You will totally Love Mary Jo Hiney’s strawberry’s!!! I’ve made ALOT of them! The most recent ones I made are the “Spooky” ones. I’ve posted them on my Instagram. I’m so happy you share your beautiful work as it gives me much joy to watch & learn & buy! ❤😊
Oh I just love the idea of stitching with the Bake Off! My son got me hooked on that show and it is perfect for a cold and chilly day to watch the fantastic creations. Many of the desserts are foreign to us in the US, but so interesting to see how the rest of the world celebrates the holidays! I name just itching to start some Christmas stitching anyway. This would be the perfect excuse! Loved your projects today and am adding a couple new ones to my wish list. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Hugs from the rainy NW... we do have that cold and wet in common!
I was so excited to see your new long Flosstube. It is always such a delight to watch you and see what you have been stitching. I also love the British Bake Off show. Prue and Paul Hollywood are my favs.
Haha! I too have gone down the wonderful Acufactum "rabbit hole". Can't wait to see what you create. ❤ The fabric hearts, cross stitch & pillows are on my to do list. I sourced my supply from Willow Cottage Quilt co. because I'm in Canada. Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching and have a wonderful holiday in the sun ☀
Sian make your videos as long as you like I seriously doubt any of us watching would grow tired of seeing your beautiful needlework and listening to you. I’m almost at the finish line on Christmas At Holly Berry Farm. Your fabric choice for it looks fantastic. Thanks for mentioning the sisters we certainly had fun that weekend with you!!! 😘
Your flosstubes are amazing! You are amazing and I am so glad I found you. Your cross stitching is fabulous from the designs you choose to the perfection of your stitches. And your embroidery….I was a prolific embroiderer when I was younger so I know what goes into the lovely pieces you have created. And then there is your quilting and appliqué. In these days of AI I could almost think you have been created by a bot!😊. Seriously, you are my new favorite Flosstube and I pray you don’t shorten your videos. I think I speak for all when I say we cannot get enough. One quick question…how do you stitch,in hand, in hoop, in QSnap, with or without a frame? Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
I am drooling over your gorgeous tomato project bag and it is already sold out. It is the most beautiful project bag I have ever seen. Enjoy using yours. So special!🤗🤗🤗🤗
I love your videos… I always set aside time first thing in the morning to watch your videos. It takes me quite a while because I take detailed notes. I’m definitely influenced by your choices of projects, you have so much knowledge. It’s amazing. You’re such a beautiful lady. Thank you and blessings. Cheryl from Kansas 😎
Love your work. Thanks for the note about Audrey and the strawberries. I love the Mary Jo strawberries and she has done a great job. Am going to make some with shot red and pink silk. xxx
Your stitching is amazing! Love watching your videos. Been checking out Nikki Franklin patterns, think I may have to try out my rusty embroidery skills, your book was absolutely jaw dropping!
As always, another lovely floss tube. So much eye candy to enjoy. The amount of projects you go through in a month is amazing. And so exquisitely done! Thank you for taking the time to show us. Happy Stitching! - Valerie
It is always such a joy to see that you have a new episode up; I could watch you for hours because you are so inspiring! Your stitching is beautiful and I love hearing and seeing your excitement over pieces you are pulling out to work on - makes me smile. I ordered an embroidery kit from the Stitchery for my 15 year old daughter for Christmas. She's going to be so excited!!! Already looking forward to your next episode ☺
Greetings... another wonderful video....the longer the better. I am actually recovering from shoulder surgery with my right arm in an immobilizing sling so I cannot really stitch (although I am trying to stitch using only my left hand!) so I have been online shopping for stitchy supplies and watching million of flosstubes. I've gone back and watched all yours over again so was delighted to see this new one. Wonderful stitching but I would expect nothing less. And the embroidery! Cannot wait to see the next one. I too bought the Acufactum stitching book and I've signed up for the monthly fat quarter bundles. Wonderful projects that I hope to start once the wing is fully healed. Seeing the projects you choose is such an inspiration...and I always have my pen and paper ready to jot down the names of new charts. See you next time. Cheers from Canada. Melanie
Hi Melanie! What a wonderful comment - I'm so happy that I can keep you company while you are recovering from surgery - FT brings us all such joy! Please get better soon :)
Wow. What a treat to sit down with my stitching and see a video from you. I could watch and listen to you for hours. Your stitching, as always, is absolutely stunning. That embroidery - I love it. My sister ‘made’ me buy an embroidery kit of a Christmas runner to do for her (she’s not a crafter) and I’m scared to even open it! Definitely won’t be done for this year. Thank you so much Sian for sharing. Happy stitching.
I’ve been catching up on your videos and am in love with all your stitches. Especially the embroidery, just so sweet and beautiful. The book made me want to do something with cross stitch too. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤
You are an inspiration! Love love love all your projects and finishes. Thanks for shouting out "the sisters" , we enjoyed our weekend with you at the Attic. Hope our paths cross again in the future! Happy stitching Sian, always
I’m always so inspired by your gorgeous projects. Thank you for all the care you take in presenting your flosstube to us. I love Nicki’s projects and was collecting some a few years ago, but our low dollar and prohibitive postage here in Aus make them unattainable for me at this time. So I love seeing your finished projects. I live vicariously through yours 😂😍
Oh thanks so much Wendy for watching! It's so hard when we can't get supplies easily locally and I feel your pain! I do know that Nicki has a flat rate shipping to Australia at 10 UK pounds which is really good - but in the meantime you can stitch on the ones in your stash maybe? Take care :)
It such a treat when your video pops up. You have really enabled me with the quilting. I’ve never done it before but I’m going to give it a go. I had a trip to Fobbles last week and Beverley had some lovely fabric. I’ve decided to make Alice Caroline’s Wonderland quilt but even though I love Liberty Tana Lawn, I’ve decided not to buy the kit because I felt there was too much white in it. Instead I’ve chosen Moda fabric, Kate’s Garden by Betsy Chuchian (I think). I was very lucky because my husband also bought my Christmas gift while we were there, a quilt kit with French General fabric. To make matters worse! My new Janome sewing machine should be delivered tomorrow along with the quilting attachments, knee lifter and everything 😁. My current sewing machine which I bought at Woolworths years ago has been great but I thought I would treat myself, my sister will get my old machine so it will still be used. Thanks for sharing another wonderful video. I’m letting my bank account recover but I think I’ll still do a little browsing at the Stitchery!
Amazing Sylvia! You will love it! I used to play Kimberly Jolly at Fat Quarter Shop for hours to get the quarter inch seam right and pick up all her tips for beginners - patchwork is a great place to start! The French General kit sounds amazing - I love Fobbles and didn't know they even did quilt kits!! Oh dear...
Wonderful video Love all the things you do. DON’T apologize for the length of video we could all take more! So glad you got to meet with Roberta I know she treasured the time as would I . Have a great time on your travels. Hope to see you soon.
I just love your Brenda Gervais finishes and you have them displayed very well. I like your pumpkin bowl much better than the one we have in the US. I know you enjoyed your time with Roberta as she is one of the nicest and friendliest flosstubers and needleworkers that I know. I always look forward to having dinner with her and Linnie at the Quilter's Station retreats. They are such fun! Thank you also for all the wonderful photos of your beautiful country and travels as I really enjoy seeing them. I loved seeing your appliqued quilting project also. I cannot believe how much you get done in just a month and such beautiful work.
Oh my GOSH this was just an absolute FEAST! I LOVE your videos SO MUCH! Thank you for mentioning my channel!!! I was so happy to see you over there. :) I loved the montage at the end; all those photos with the music was a treat! How do I learn to do that??? I absolutely LOVED the quilt book and material you showed and I bought the book straight away! Plus a little ornament to stitch. Love you and your channel! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘❤
Thanks for another fabulous video, Sian! I am really loving your Bunny Hill quilt! Your embroidery is beautiful! Love seeing Lottie grow each month and it was such fun to see your Halloween pieces. I could sincerely make a comment on how beautiful everything was that you showed, but it would get really long for me to write and you to read! Thanks as always, Sian. Have a great month and happy stitching!

Thank you so much Jayne!
Sian...such a delightful posting...thanks for sharing...best wishes ❤
Thank you Loretta!
“How it began is lovely” and I love the sentiment behind it. 💖Beautiful project bags. Your WIPs are lovely and you have such a great eye for matching fabrics to the charts. Have a great week! 🙂
Thank you so much! And for coming back again :)
@@periwinklestitcher 😀
Hi thank you for the advice on my last query. I have now purchased Kringle and Woolard (Plum Street) with 28 count aida ( not sure i was ready for linen) and the suggested yarns and off I have jumped!
Brilliant Dee! Good luck! I have that in stash and love that chart!
What a fun and uplifting video. Your projects are so amazing. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thanks for sharing with us.
Oh thank you - very kind of you! Tx for watching :)
Oh thank you Marsha! I had to look for you and can now see all your fab strawberry finishes - and acorns! Stunning :)
Thank you so much Connie! I'm glad you love the Bake Off too :)
Thanks Sian, never heard of either of those so will be googling them tout suite!! Xx ❤️
I was so excited to see your new long Flosstube. It is always such a delight to watch you and see what you have been stitching. I also love the British Bake Off show. Prue and Paul Hollywood are my favs.
Thank you so much!
Wonderful Linda! How lucky you are in Canada to have that store!!
Oh Linda! Tx so much for watching - hope you had a great time at The Attic retreat :)
Thank you so much Cathy! You are very kind :) I love to stitch in hand and use a Nurge hoop for embroidery!
I am drooling over your gorgeous tomato project bag and it is already sold out. It is the most beautiful project bag I have ever seen. Enjoy using yours. So special!🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much Beth for watching!
It's always delightful to hear what you've been up to, and see your beautiful stitching. Enjoy your holiday xx
Thank you so much!
Wow, thank you Cheryl! How kind - I'm so glad you enjoy it!
Love your work. Thanks for the note about Audrey and the strawberries. I love the Mary Jo strawberries and she has done a great job. Am going to make some with shot red and pink silk. xxx
Thank you so much Justine!
@@periwinklestitcher There's a youtube on how to make them by Mary Jo herself ! It was great fun watching how she put them together.
Thanks! I am off to find this!
Love to see each beautiful project you complete or are working on. Such inspiration!
Thank you so much Jennifer!
Your stitching is amazing! Love watching your videos. Been checking out Nikki Franklin patterns, think I may have to try out my rusty embroidery skills, your book was absolutely jaw dropping!
Thank you so much!
As always, another lovely floss tube. So much eye candy to enjoy. The amount of projects you go through in a month is amazing. And so exquisitely done! Thank you for taking the time to show us. Happy Stitching! - Valerie
Thank you so much Valerie!
Thanks so much Sarah 😊 what a fabulous gift - she will love it :)
Beautiful stitching and finishes. I love to see your progress on Charlotte Warrington as well as Jane Bannister. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for watching! I must keep on slowly with them both :)
I was so lovely to see all your stitching thank you!!
Thank you so much Susan!
You are a true inspiration! Love EVERYTHING you create! Wish I could give you a double thumbs up!
Thanks so much Norette 😊
I look forward to every one of your episodes. Your stitching and other projects are so inspiring!!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely in awe of your stitching . Thank you for the inspiration ❤
Thank you Patti!
Another great flosstube! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful projects!
Thank you! 😊
Hi Susan - this made me laugh out loud! Thank heavens I don't have a sister - I am bad enough already lol!! PS. You can do it :)
I’ve been catching up on your videos and am in love with all your stitches. Especially the embroidery, just so sweet and beautiful. The book made me want to do something with cross stitch too. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you for an inspirational crossstitch session, plus all your other skills. I also like to mix up my crafts, so thank you again. Jan x
Thank you so much Jan for watching!
You are an inspiration! Love love love all your projects and finishes. Thanks for shouting out "the sisters" , we enjoyed our weekend with you at the Attic. Hope our paths cross again in the future! Happy stitching Sian, always
Thank you so much Megan and for all your kindness :)
You are such a joy! Everything that you do is perfection. I can’t wait to see what you make with the beautiful Christmas fabrics that you showed.
Thank you so much Sandy!

It is a joy to spend time with you!😊
Thank you so much Tanya!
You are a treasure to watch! Beautiful stitching all around !! Thank you for sharing !!
Thank you so much Kristy!
Lovely video and all your stitching is amazing! 🤩 my heart is smiling.
Thank you - very kind of you!
Oh dear...
Some wonderful stitching inspiration,so the time fly’s. Blessings and happy stitching.
Thank you Clare!
Wonderful video Love all the things you do. DON’T apologize for the length of video we could all take more! So glad you got to meet with Roberta I know she treasured the time as would I . Have a great time on your travels. Hope to see you soon.
Thank you so much Linda!
Thank you so much Dottie! How precious that you get to Quilters Station :)
Oh Heidi!! Thanks so much for watching - I can't wait for your next update :)
Thank you so much Wanda!
So much inspiration and temptation Sian! Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for watching Sarah! :)
Hi there! You're content is amazing and your enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. Thanks for sharing your crafty world with us. Happy Stitching!
