Hi Silvia, my name is Isadora ( or Izi). I just wanted to tell you I think you’re awesome! I love how you put your knowledge and personal life out there! I am a former hairdresser myself, ( I had to stop for health reasons) and I really appreciate you! One thing I love about this industry, is you never stop learning! I just wanted to say thank you and I love you🥰

Malibu C products are fabulous! Even though I have water filters for my shower, these powders are still great to use. I use the Hard Water treatment once a month, and I always do the Crystal Gel treatment before I color my hair. The Crystal Gel treatment makes a huge difference in how the color turns out on the hair.

I started using both of these a couple of months ago and WOW!! My hair is so much shinier and healthier already!! I am trying to get the rest of some semi permanent dye out of my hair while going to my natural color. I do not want to use any lighteners at all, and these are a great way to help remove build up without resorting to any chemical color process!

Also, just FYI in case you are not aware...there are shower head filters that filter out some of the harsher elements of hard water. You can find them for a reasonable price.

Put them in 1/2 to 1 cup hot water (depending on length of hair) until they dissolve and turn to a gel then put onto dry hair and let hair dry (you can use blow dryer) with product in hair then shampoo and condition. Sure enough, same stuff. I ordered some, along with the Malibu C colour remover, as I'd like to get the last of the box dye out of my hair before putting in new colour. I used Color Oops, but think this other stuff would have been a wiser choice had I known. I like to get everything out once in a while, and see what I've got to work with. If you want to scrub your tub less and spend less on toning products, try getting a cheap shower filter from Amazon. I got mine for less than $30 and it's lasted 4 months and still going strong. I haven't had to use one of these packets in months and my skin and hair feel so much softer! Plus, I only use a toning shampoo, conditioner, or mask once every 2 weeks instead of several times a week and that's only because I want my hair SUPER ashy because my skin is very cool toned and any warmth around my face makes me look sick lol.

Love this video, it came at just the right time! I'm wondering if this would work for the hair fiasco I just had. In getting my highlights done, the colorist painted a 5% volume bleach with conditioner on the length of my hair to brighten it, which also got on my natural darker color that I use for dimension, it lifted the darker color and transferred on to pale blonde and totally changed/ruined the color. I was hoping if it just stained the blonde pieces that there was something besides bleaching it again that could pull it out? Is this product worth me trying or would it make matters worse?

I'm hoping the brown packet will work for my dark strawberry blonde with all that grey? If it doesn't work real well, I'll try the one for blondes. I also found Malibu C for scalp. #3 is a watered down version of #2.
Purchase the latter and apply to hair. Leave on a couple hours. Rinse out and shampoo. #3 is a total rip off.

If I have naturally dark blonde hair, and dye it the same color to cover greys, AND I have hard water, would I want to use the packet for blondes or brunettes?

What if you’re in your 40’s and need a haircolor that doesn’t further age you? Would that be gold tones over ash tones? I am currently some shade of warm brown w natural ashy roots & still coming back from a 10 blonde to a 4 black prefilled w red hair makeover i did a few years ago.

These sound promising. Are they also available at Sally's?

Hi! Do you use a shampoo before as well or only after? Just noticing the packets said to wash before with shampoo and then use conditioner after?

How do these work on gray hair? Not color treated in any way but possibly hard water. When I use the blonde since I originally I was blonde? Thanks for this very interesting information.

I did highlights for my hair but since last March I haven't done it except to go to sally beauty supply and get a ash color (because I bought one at the store and got red in my hair I can't use golden which I didn't know) so my hair is quite dark on top but still blonde on sides and ends which I love that color just hate the top would this Malibu c product be worth it for me to use or wouldn't do nothing for me where it's dark on top
Also what is it called in the ion brand

Hi I have a question and I really hope you can answer for me..I am a brunette and I have been doing blonde highlights for like three years now but I still can't achieve the color I want and my blonde fades and turns yellowish or brassy I am not even sure after one month and I use color safe products, purple shampoo like once a week...my hair dresser uses semi permanent toner because thats the only thing the salon uses is this why I am struggling with my hair? Oh and I have very noticeable grays especially in the front around my face. Thank you
