This is the best music that you ever could have to relax yourself....here in 2023 and I'm 65 years old & still listen to this music for long time it is the best, ever R.I.P. GREGG 🎶🎹💯🎊👍
I saw Gregg 20+ times 1971-76. Sad to see one of the greatest blues singers in history so out of it that he can’t remember the lyrics to the most classic of blues songs. Don’t do drugs, kids…
Duann & Greg...Gracias por vuestro legado...Ya no estáis aquí, pero siempre os llevaremos dentro.Fuisteis un pedazo de nuestro corazón y nuestras vidas...Hasta siempre Greg...DEP
Whitney's singing is growing on me - either she's maturing or I'm mellowing! Laura once again proves that she is completely at home with soul as she is with most blues and jazz formes.
THAT VOICE....there was only one Gregory LeNoir Allman! He forgot some of the lyrics to the song, so maybe he is a bit messed up. He could still sing circles around most singers, even when he was under the influence. So handsome back in the day, and one of my favorite singers! Love the ABB, Duane is my favorite guitarist. RIP Duane and "baby brah " Gregg.
Shelly Watson, if you watch the concert in its entirety, he gets more and more messed up, (could be a result of Belushi being there, RIP, and my own guess). Dickey Betts I finally get to views as a team player, as he picks up the slack. On one video of an old song that they play A LOT, wherein he forgets the words and, almost falls to sleep on his organ. However, Gregg's worst, is other people's best...! He still pulled it off....
2:59 Dickie looks pissed and Dan looks a little uncomfortable . It's obvious Gregg is on something here but he still sounds pretty good. He sings from his heart😊
@@crazyhawk59 Everyone was back then...in the industry, it was free, available and, like Starbucks, it was THERE! He worked until the day he died. Addiction is a disease, like overeating is and overeating can also be deadly. Gregory kept two bands working and making money, he wrote amazing music and if you look at all the places he played and the dates and the sheer amount of songs and music he left us with, the fact that he battled addiction for some years, is irrelevant. He beat it. He didn't die addicted, and his addiction didn't kill him or slow him down. You are ever so right, all three of them are baked....obviously. Does it affect their music? Yes, Greg was a one-of-a-kind vocalist, but this is simply tragic. His eyes are pinned to the back of his skull on dope. Breaks my f'ing heart to see him like this. Thanks be he finally got clean.
This was fascinating to watch. It's s little rough and ready, but real. It feels like we're spying on them. The drugs, signs of tension, Dickey deciding to have a cigarette in the middle of their performance ... It's a slice of life with the Allmans.
So great u r gregg... can hardly wait 2 c U n heaven, just beyond amazement how God blessed ur voice See u n heaven. We all will always miss hearing u live singng... miss u so much

Nice to see Danny and Dickie there. Quite a trio. I think this was when they lived in Sarasota/Bradenton. They'd show up at the Oar House on Anna Maria once in a while and just sit in with the house band.

Yep, he gave the best performance of this video. Allman, who is my all-time favorite singer, was awful this time. Betts, as usual, played the acoustic as if it were an electric - it does not sound good. Toler put in some very tasteful playing that supported the 'arrangement', as it were.
