  • This video was suggested by a long time viewer, with a warning. It needed it, an amazing video with a ton of tissue needed.

just came back to rewatch this dark valley i have sent you into. if i were her, i would have jumped off that cliff. i have lost my twin sister some years ago in a horrible car crash and it took me years to get out of that dark state. this music video captures all this silent suffering in such an excellent way, painful to the point. i have a husband and two sons, and if such things ever happen to me i'd know what to do.
thankfully we don't have to answer this question just theoretically. but we have to live every second of our lifes to the fullest and the best we can.
until this one susanne sundfors when the lord was the saddest song i know.

You should listen to Steven Wilson song 'Drive Home'. Good song, good film clip and good guitar solo.

What do I do with all the children's clothes?
Such tiny things that still smell of them
And the footprints in the hallway
On to my knees, scrub them away
And how to be of use? Make the tea and the soup
All of their favourites, throw them away
And all their school books, and their running shoes
Washing them clean in the dirty steel sink
    Routine keeps me in line
    Helps me pass the time
    Concentrates my mind
    Helps me to sleep
And keep making beds, and keep the cat fed
Open the windows, let the air in
And keep the house clean, and keep the routine
Paintings they made still stuck to the fridge
    Keep cleaning, keep ironing
Cooking their meals on the stainless steel hob
    Keep washing, keep scrubbing
Long until the dark comes to bruise the sky
    Deep in debt to night
    Routine keeps me in line
    Helps me pass the time
    Helps me to sleep
    Routine keeps me in line
    Helps me pass the time-ime-ime
    Helps me to sleep
    The most beautiful morning forever
Like the ones from far off, far off away
With the hum of the bees in the jasmine sway
Don't ever let go, try to let go
And don't ever let go, try to let go
    Don't ever...

you want some uplifting fun after this heavy piece of art? eivor did an excellent version of kate bushs running up that hill for the icelandic television two weeks ago. she had so much fun recording it, you can see it in her face!

my dear friend, thank you for your reaction video, i have cried with you the whole time watching this.
i have lost my twin sister some years ago in a horrible car crash and it took me years of hard work to recover and to not follow her. one and a half year ago a close friend lost her son of ten years old and i was shocked for weeks, to see her loss and the struggles she has to deal with it.
i'm honest, in the case of her in the video i would have jumped off that cliff. it hurts physically to watch this video, sends me into mental distress but in the same way i feel so alive!
all this violence in the world....
thank you again for this reaction, it means more to me than you can imagine!
i give you some time to recover, but if you are ready, i would like to introduce you to helen sjöholm, du måste finnas with english subtitles taken from kristina från duvemåla. a musical by björn and benny of abba. this song has also a special place in my heart

As always I appreciate any suggestions from you. I feel good that you are still with us, glad because the world needs people like you. People who are survivors, who can walk through the fire and live. We can show others that it is possible to survive. I told you before but I was there with you, minutes from ending it but the universe had other plans. We walk through the fire and for some reason we are still here. I think I might be here to help others through this channel, maybe, I don't know. You now ride the ocean rescuing people, being a true Viking, LoL. But we are still here.
In all honesty, I am a little buzzed and I started crying again after reading your comment. So my response is a little flowery in speech but I am glad you are here Soley.
P.s. what is your favorite genre of sci Fi.

@@guitarsgames1978 thank you for your kind words, i rerally appreciate it and i have subscribed to your channel for a good reason, your reactions are heartfelt and honest and i love that!
sometimes i wish my sister could see me now, be with me now but it's okay, i keep her in my heart for ever.
i used to be sad and depressed thinking of her, but it changed with the years. i think of her every day, but with a lot more inner peace.
i really love a good sci-fi-movie! i like it, when they are a bit subtile and clever. i really liked "never let me go" with keira knightley and "ex macchina". perfectly executed, filmed, edited. perfect story.
i don't know if it is available for you, but it was an norwegian series for hbo called beforeigners, it's a crazy genre mix. it is a sci-fi crime drama where time traveling refugees from three past eras - the stone age, the viking era, and the late 19th century - have settled in oslo, norway.
the first season was so good, i loved the main character and one of the side characters so much. the main person is the first female cop from the viking age, and her close friend urd is phenomenal. it had a lot of spoken old norse and in my opinion some really cool display of this time. what makes you a foreigner? your origin? your birth date? how can we live together with all this differences and difficulties?
i think it's on hbo max? at least it says that you can watch it there.
another reccomendation for a good movie is the icelandic drama málmhaus - metal head in english. love that one, too! it's sad, about loss and grief and to find yourself.
