I have been using the Medela hospital grade pump while in the hospital and the Dr. Brown’s pump at home. I love the Dr. Brown’s much more! I get way more milk from the Dr. Brown’s pump and it does better at emptying the breast.
Are there any tips on using it? My wife used it once and got 3+ ounces in 10 minutes. Next time she used it, it was 20 minutes and only 1 ounce if even that
Although this pump sounds aggressively it is actually one of the most comfortable pumps I have used. I have other pumps that is a bit harsh and left my nipples with blisters and bleeding. Spectra, Baby Buddha and Willow are some of the pumps I have used in the past and those felt like my nipples were being ripped off especially the baby buddah. The old medela pump in style was one I had liked as well before it discontinued. I am not sure about the longevity of this pump and thinking about even buying an extra one just for backup.
First time mom here. Have been avoiding pumping but am at the point where I really need to. I have this pump but I think the flanges are too big because they would not stay suctioned to me. Am I supposed to be able to set these in a pumping bra and let go or do I have to hold them onto my breasts the whole time while pumping? I was not able let go of these without them falling off and losing suction.
Hi dear. Please make a video on galactocele and treatment. I’m a momma of a month old baby and have galactocele in left breast, I’m worried if pus forms and I have to go for extraction which will impact my breastfeeding
Have you tried this pump? What are your thoughts?

Wow! That is awesome. So happy that the pump works so well for you. Do you use the same flange size with both pumps?

I haven't seen this before but have been using the bottles
👍👍😇
Thank you sharing 😃
Thank you!!
Does it need filters like medwla?
It now comes with a rechargeable battery!
I’m using this pump for the first time but the milk isn’t falling in the bottle it’s being stuck in the valve. Am I missing something?
Where can I buy flanges or inserts compatible with this? Their flange sizes are really big.
Medela style flanges have smaller sizes, and fit this pump. You could get them, or knock off versions of them, from companies like Maymom on Amazon

I used this pump for my last baby but the flange was too big. I tried to buy inserts but I have not found any that will fit correctly.
Let me know if you find any. I'm a 17mm

Can I use medela bottles on Dr Brown's breastpump
Yes. I use Mandela bottles with mine.
