"All that extra damage, for no extra money."
Sounds like a quote for the next merch ?😊
How long until someone else says it 😅
Love how these two guys can joke in the face of adversity
Yeah love this quote..😂😂..definitely one to put out as merch
@@andrewgreen885 😂 Great suggestion.
Guys I like how honest and thorough you are, don’t change.
I just love Chris’s laid-back attitude, nothing phases him. He has the patience of the Dalai Lama . !
'fazes' is the correct word.

A good smart guy can fix that roof . Like the guy who did the seats on the porsche I think, he re-painted them for you yea thats fixable . It's what I do I could fix that but I'm in Scotland . would cost you £75.00
I can think of 2 people who still have integrity in the salvage game, you guys
Chris and Rob are two people in salvaged cars you can utterly TRUST in buying cars from...

.....I have bought 2 cars from Rob one I sold after 5yrs the other I Still drive now had it now for 6yr so far...2 great cars repaired to a high degree and at really good prices bought....what else do you need to know about their INTEGRITY?
I love your comment " doesn't it sound lovely and I don't mean the hairdryer that's just gone past " another quality Rob comment 👏 👌
I was looking for this comment because, I was going to post it myself, it gave me a good chuckle 😁
At 9:46 "We're gonna need a leg, an arm..." Chris just admitted that front corner will cost an arm and a leg!! I'll get my coat!. Seriously, that will make a great car for someone.
Love the wheel barrow with the tools in , that's real , Old School. Cheers again lads .
U pull it Edinburgh have them lined up outside ready to go as soon as you arrive 👍
U pull its Fife no edinburgh awesome scrapies
Love Chris s positivity. That's why people want you to do well.
This will be another cracking few videos sorting this one out, can't wait. Rob, you said you've bought another couple of cars too, plenty of content to come then. This channel deserves to get to 500k subs, and it will. I've been watching since before Chris wanted to be on camera, but since he has, what a difference he's made. Absolutely brilliant content every time, keep doing what you're doing lads. 👏
Always seems like these salvage yards are doing a lot of covering up these days good thing is that you guys are always completely honest & show all damage
its called maximizing profit, i stopped using eBay for similar reasons sellers covering things and sending items not as described, thankfully eBay have the buyer protection in place, but with these auctions its different and frustrating.
Can see Chris and his partner enjoying this little beauty this summer!
You pays your money, you takes your chance. Seeing your face Rob and that fist bump tells us you’ve got your result. Well done. 😊
Man you guys are a joy to watch. I wish we had a duo like you lot here in the eastern US.
The roof is repairable, I had a guy who did mine a couple of years ago. He also did my leather seats on my old Saab.
Agree with Rob - one of best sounds is a BMW 6 - when that started up reminded me of every one I have had from e30 3series to e32/34 7's and 5's
Great blend of honesty and positivity, It really does make your heart feel better. There's a good reason I've been subscribed since the early days.
Think you should put an extra video in this week showing the start of the build because I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!!!!😂😂
All that extra damage for no extra money
Best way to look at it guys
I'm not a fan of BMW's but it's going to be awesome when it's had the SRUK treatment
Well done guys
Rob when you had them 2 croc clamps close together... after taking them off the bmw ...and the van batt on the other end 😮
Well done on this one guys, I am sure you will make a beautiful car for some lucky owner.
The auction house should be ashamed as if this had been bought by an ordinary car person this could have been a total disaster.
I think you guys should start your own car auction business, you know cars inside out and seem very honest, I think you could do well especially with your already respected on line business!
To be fair. It makes for good content and shows what a good job you both do.
With 45 thousand on the clock you have got a reasonable car. It would have been a really nice car if it was described correctly. Having said that I know you two will make it look really nice once again. A good honest video from two honest Gentlemen, not many left now it seems which is quite sad. 👍👍
Great video guys, one of the best channels on RUclips, keep up the great work!!!
Great video lads! Always wanted to repair/sell cars after watching you two, I finally took the gamble and bought one on co part! Description said runs and drives got it delivered and the head gasket was gone 😢now I have my first head gasket under my belt and as of today the car runs sweet as a nut! MOT on Friday and Will be up for sale. Many thanks for being an inspiration wouldn’t have took the gamble if it wasn’t for you two!
You hit the nail on the head Rob very few honest folk left in the salvage game, thankfully you and Chris show how honest trading and repairing should be done, the rest are just quick bucks Dick Turpins 😂
This is going to turn out to be a lovely motor once it’s done. Glad to see you both smiling despite the lack of pics/info on it. Look forward to the rest of the series on this. Keep up the good work gents!
They are good at taking the pictures I wrote a Focus off a few years ago. In the photos, the blown seat air bags were conveniently covered by the seat belts
Hello Rob and Chris,(always so laid-back and chilled out!!) what a surprise to see the car moving about on four wheels and the engine sounds great! Now you have the parts needed to get this car turned around and sorted. Best wishes from Lincolnshire
You just get better and better. Pure honest entertainment. I learn something mechanical every vid. Best wishes. From a 100% non techy!
You can't expect everyone to be as honest as you two lads. Well done, you guys 😊
I used to work close to a well known UK salvage yard. The way they moved cars around was crazy, I reckon the drivers door was damaged with a fork lift. They just didn't care.
You are both consistently straight and honest, and I can't help but being incredibly impressed by your unvarying standards of repair and fair prices. If I was in the market for a replacement car, you would be my first choice. Well done indeed.
Rob and Chris
You to guys have to be the most down to earth people iv seen
You never have a bad word to say about anything or anyone
Good luck ☘️to you
What a great watch you two guys are. Your knowledge and ability with cars is truly amazing.
Listening to the engine!!!!!!!
You couldn't hear it, it's so bloody smooth.
You guys will simply throw some of that magic Rob&Chris dust it it will be another beauty.
Beautiful job will be a great fix as always with SRUK😊
Love the way you guys work together.
Yeah, it turns out to be a basket case, but you just go on and move forward, and absolutely nothing go on unseen.
It's so lovely to see, that know-how, craftmanship and an eye for details get the finish back in everything you do.
Keep up that kind of work. In the end it pays of. Maybe not allways in money, but knowing that it's a hell of a good job done.
I agree, you two can spin that around, piece of cake 👍👍
Excellent video and to be fair Rob - it does sound awesome. Just the right time of year coming up for it as well. Someone is going to get a lovely motor. 😊
Yet another brilliant video. After the initial shock it’s great to see how Rob & Chris brainstorm to find the best workarounds. Fantastic channel and really great content. Top blokes 👍
You're the only two people that can turn a nightmare into a sweat dream. Total respect.
Good morning Rob and Chris, another great video, so much progress in such a short time. Looking forward to the next instalment.
Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
Love Chris's attitude to the extra free damage. Until you guys drove it I wondered if it was another fail but looks like this could be a good un. Nice one.
Wow rob i am visually impaired wonder if theres any jobs going at that auction place lol keep up the great videos
Lads you’ll soon get your money back and I wouldn’t be surprised if you managed a bit more due to the low mileage and your craftsmanship which is always on point looking forward to the next video on this lads well done 👍
These are the type of videos I enjoy, also I feel others can relate and it is with grasp of many. Nice
Love your sense of humor Chris and both your positive attitude
yes! love robs face when he turns the key and she starts right up like a little kid at xmas!! great vids!!!
Ive been a subscriber for ages & youve touched on something Ive been thinking. I have often thought of buying a repaired car but I wouldnt trust it had been repaired to an acceptable standard, never mind going above and beyond like you guys.
That previous owner has been a panel beater not long enough, Rob. 🙈😁 You two are Lone Rangers in a world of cowboys. At least the Beemer ended up with the right guys. 👍👍
Disappointing for you with all that extra work to do, but a bonus for us to watch! You will make it perfect, as always. 👍
You soon bounced back from the disappointment, love your enthusiasm
You guys are brilliant you just take it on the chin and get on with it,well done and keep up the great work.
Another little gem there guys, despite the extra work!, I can see that going quite quickly!! 👍
Rob and Chris,
Please never retire. Great fun the positive interactions between you even when some lying cheat has tried stitch you up. 10/10.
Old school what the motor trade used to be like, I hope this one is a success.
Nice car, sounds lovely. I'm not normally a fan of BMW but that one appeals. Can't wait to see how you get on with it 👍
Surprise Surprise Copart up to their old tricks again, Honestly don’t know why people keep buying from them, No1 their fee’s are terrible!!
Send her back to Copart and dispute about the images etc.
They'll take it back
@@Liam.......and sling it back in the ring to mug the next punter off
It might take months to sort out the back and forwards and the car will just be sitting there. Take it on the chin and be careful, if possible don’t buy without seeing. Just my opinion 🦌🦌🦌
@@kennethimpey9201copart have recently stopped view before Auction
It's a real shame that many folks have no integrity anymore , apart from Rob n Chris of course
Loved this one, Rob. Thank you.
Great video, Rob and Chris 👍
Brilliant content guys, especially Chris & his half a doughnut which he denied 😂👍 go on Chris give it some Welly 😂
Good evening Rob & Chris 😊 I know you’ve been spanked on this but this is what is fantastic about salvage rebuilds 😀 And you’re right the current bun is coming lol 😂👍🏻
".....and don't it sound lovely", great comedy timing, you ought to send that into Alan Partridge, he would love that😆😆😆👍
Nice model Rob and just the right time of year for it. Hopefully you will at least break even or possibly get a little drink out of it! I think you already know this is my favourite channel 🙏👍
Thanks!
Thank you John, that is very kind
Should be called the positive show with Rob and Chris even when faced with a lemon!. Love the word of the day.....Tadge. All the best.
Love the positivity. As you boys say, you take the rough with the smooth, that's life and we learn from being taken for a mug, hopefully.
Hi Rob and Chris! In every bag of groceries there's a lemon.. you guys have avoided many, but the odd one slips through. When people scams you by doing all sorts of shady things, they should be exposed to the public. But guys, I think you'll be allright with this one. Lemon is okay with a nice cup of tea!😊
I'm sure that roof can be repaired it's only small hole 💪🐸✌️
Yes I thought the same when Rob picked at it with his finger! “A stitch in time can save nine “ 🙏
Best of luck with all the ongoing projects there now 👍👍👍
Pure entertainment. You both have the attitude of “lets just get on with it and do our best job”. You clearly love what you both do and it shows in your videos. The Ugly duckling will turn into a beautiful Blue swan 💪👌👍🏻
as always enjoyed the video guys love to watch you two doing these cars pulling them straight great
Copart should be re branded Conpart, there are so many buyers in your position guys.....poor pictures and damage from the loaders and seemingly no comeback. I know you have to be careful what you say but it isn't right. Anyway, going to watch the video now 👍
It takes real class to smile and say: "All that extra damage for no extra money"! Keep up the good work gents.
This will be a quick turnaround and a sweet motor🎉
I would watch the rest before you say that 👍
thanks Guys for your honesty, sometimes even you get caught out,, will be interesting to see how the numbers stack up, am sure you will turn it around and turn a smaller than the "auction place" pictures suggested, you would think even "Auction" places should have obligation to give honest description please share the pictures you saw when buying,,
It's a beautiful car and perfect for the long hot summer we will enjoy this year - hopefully!
Well, I was a little disappointed like you both at first, but I am now really looking forward to seeing the series on this car. It’s going to be stunning, it’s a shame we couldn’t get the parts in colour. Loving the channel guys.
Probably high demand for drug dealer black lol
Well done yet again Rob, that will be a lovely motor when done.
Another cracking video,keep them coming.
I had a four year old 323i straight six E30 back when my children were very young. The engine was utterly smooth and quite superbly quiet. Still one of the best engines I’ve ever had almost over the last forty years and thirty odd cars…
Nice looking motor, look forward to see the end result.👍👍👍
Love a 3.0ltr BM! I’ve had my E46 330ci 12 years now!
I've had an E60 530i for fifteen years but it has been off the road with an ECU/wiring fault for nearly a year, which saddens me greatly.
Looking forward to the next video on this one Rob
I think it will be a beauty when done
Chris and Rob. Please don't change a thing. For those of us ex- pats around the world it is lovely to hear the waffle and banter.
I’ve had two cars from Copart, both disasters. C5 V6 diesel, I’d spoken to the previous owner and knew the damage. Suspension on delivery was buggered and it had to be rebuilt at £1500 cost. Next car, DS3, clearly had wheels and tyres swapped before it was delivered to me. And costs - through the roof!
Great video. Pity about the damage not being disclosed but makes a good video!😅 and be sorted up in good time for spring/ summer
Another gem of video .learn alot from you guys. Tadge bit in lol new word made laugh 👌
Had so many like this recently, I actually declined a car on delivery last week and Copart refunded me which was lucky, as it had a smashed window and extra damage since the photographs. However they’ve relisted it with the exact same photos again so someone’s gonna have the same problem😂
I would go back to them.... Especially if you have the description.... As a regular buyer... It's also remind said companies..that full disclosure is legally required at sale wether auction or other....
wow can't wait to see the end result as that's going to be a mice summer car for new owner once it's up for sale looking forward to seeing what's next on the channel keep them coming guys 👍👍👍💯💯💯
That is a beautiful car the best you have had in awhile while, best wishes from Galway Ireland 🇮🇪 xxx
I wish I had these guys skills, so talented
Go on and do it guys you know it makes sense! Great Video boys "Thanks"👍
That will be a lovely car when finished. Can’t wait to see it. Don’t see many 125’s about either 👍
It's cost you an arm and a leg so far Rob 😂 lovely car mate and I know you and Chris will do it spot on 👍
That was lucky but both your expertise can turn it around for a profit, well done.👍👍👍
Lovely car! I have a 2007 325i with the same engine and it's a beautiful engine. Especially in that light 1 series
