    Hey Herbie! Just wanted to drop a comment and thank you for what you do! I just bought a KPR200 from Venom MotorSports and been watching your videos on it. Awesome Dragewarrior! That’s fantastic, the KPR is a great bike, fun reliable and pretty fast for a 200cc and you bought from the best online dealer in my opinion, they take care of their customers. Thanks for the encouragement and if there is anything I can help with just drop me a line.

    Very informative!! I have the KPR as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Its truly appreciated. I'd love to be able to make it go faster. Atleast up to 100mph. When chaining out my chain, i realized the wheel o-ring was torn. Need to find a replacement O-ring.

      Hello Speedy, your welcome!! I’m sure anything is possible up to a point but 100 mph on this little 200cc would be quite a bit of work. My max speed of 81mph was all she had with no wind on flat ground. It would probably be better and safer for you to buy a bigger bike if 100 mph is your goal, just my opinion. I’m not sure what you mean by wheel o ring?

    Hi there, are you still running the stock nylon tires or have you swapped them out for something closer to a more normal tire compound? Thank you for all of your KPR 200 videos

      @herbiesgarage681  Год назад +1

      Hello Ryan, Yes, I'm still running the stock tires on it, surprisingly the tires have decent grip for what they are and are wearing good. I will probably get another 1500 miles on it before I have to replace the tires. Your welcome, I appreciate the support!

    Do you have to take the rear wheel off, to do the back brakes?

    • @herbiesgarage681

      Hello, usually you just have to remove the brake caliper from the bracket and don't have to remove the wheel. I haven't had to change the brakes yet on the KPR though

    Hey Herbie, just subscribed. I recently purchased the Lifan x-pect 200. Your videos are very detailed, and makes me believe I can do the proper maintenance on mine. Everything you show should be the same or at least very similar shouldn't they? Thanks! 👍

      @herbiesgarage681  Год назад

      Hello Barry, congratulations on your new xpect!! Yes, there should be similarities although the KPR has a different engine, I think, than the xpect even though they are both 200cc. The xpect is a cool bike and I actually thought about getting one. I hope you have a great time with it, if you ever need anything just let me know. And thanks for Subscribing, I do appreciate the support very much!! 👍🏻

      Thanks so much! I do have one question that is worrying me, and that's my valve lash. The owners manual says to adjust every 6000 miles, but some other channels say to adjust before riding. I have not adjusted and have put 200 miles on it. Should I go ahead and adjust or go by the manual? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  Год назад

      @@barryjohnson1484 I personally like to check my valve adjustment as soon as possible, I’ve had 4 China bikes now and every one had tight valves especially the exhaust. With that said, I’m kind of a maintenance nut and probably go over and beyond sometimes. If you are not experiencing any running issues then most likely your adjustment is pretty close and won’t need to be adjusted. That would be your call, I don’t know how difficult it is to get to the adjustment on the xpect but wouldn’t think it would be very hard. If you have never done a valve adjustment before then it would be a good idea to have someone watch and assist that is familiar with the process.

    @ Herbie, would you be able to tell me the rear sprocket dimensions so I can order a 40 Tooth for my Lifan KPR 200. Please.

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  2 года назад

      Hi Sarafin! The original KPR sprocket has an offset that is impossible to find. But this sprocket is an exact replacement without the offset JTR 269-40. If I could give you a little advice, then I would not change the rear sprocket! Any gearing changes can be done on the front sprocket and it's a lot easier to do. One tooth up on the size of the front sprocket is equal to about 4 teeth down on the back. I am running a 16 tooth on the front (15 is stock) the number for the front sprocket is JTF 259-16 and if that's not enough then go to a 17-tooth sprocket. JTF259-17. The front sprocket replacement is a little thinner than the OEM, but it works perfectly fine as I have been running it for several thousand miles now and others have too. Hope this helps and take care

      @@herbiesgarage681 Thank you.I have a 17 tooth installed in the front.I thought I could get more high end speed with reduced tooth at rear. I appreciate your help.

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  2 года назад

      @@sjuni8137 Honestly, I think you are geared as high as you can go with the power of the engine that you have. If you were to go smaller on the rear sprocket with a 17-tooth front sprocket then I don't believe you would have enough power to reach high speeds, actually I think your speeds would decrease. And you're welcome Serafin!

      @@herbiesgarage681 Do you know how the 16 tooth has affected your 0-60 and hill climbing ability? Also my rear sprocket seems like it might have epoxy or a jb weld type of compound holding it on and I can't seem to remove it.

      @@Zeinder Hello Zeinder, I haven’t noticed any negative effects from the 16 sprocket, it’s the perfect front sprocket in my opinion. I’m pretty sure the rear sprocket nuts are held on with threadlocker, they will come off though
