Hello Cristian, your welcome and I’m glad that you find the videos useful
Good instructions. I'm definitely going to use this when I do my kp150
Hello Andre, thank you, it’s an awesome little bike have fun!
Got mine Friday. Love this little bike. Great vids 👍👍
That's awesome, congratulations on the new bike!! They're a fun little bike. Thank you!
Smart man
Hello Bryan, thanks for watching!
@@herbiesgarage681 I wish you lived in Cincinnati I would hirer u to do some work on my Kp mini
@@bryanlinville7275 thanks for the compliment Bryan 👍🏻
Good job 👍.
Thanks Jerry!
Can I expect the loss of super torquey 1st gear wheelies on my KP if i go up to `17t front
Hello Jay, the 17t will affect first gear slightly, you will probably notice a difference but I wouldn’t think it would be much. Majority of the change will be felt in the upper gears
Good video 📹 👍 👌 👏
Thank you
@herbiesgarage681 I just started a channel as well, so Hopefully I can do somewhat decent videos myself
Can we put 16 teeth sprocket in as 200?
Sure, if you would rather have a 16 tooth then it will be okay. I liked the 17 tooth sprocket myself
@@herbiesgarage681 as 200 comes in a 14 t sprocket but I don't know it a 16 t will fit in the housing. can you tell does it usually fit in as 200 and how big the diameter of 16t to 14t ? sprocket
Buen día, podrías hacer lo mismo en una kpr 200?
Yes you could but for me a 17 tooth sprocket on the KPR was making the bike feel under powered. I installed a 16 tooth sprocket and it seems perfect to me for my KPR 200. Thanks for the comment
@@herbiesgarage681 gracias voy a probar
so what size is the rear sprocket and is it a 428pitch 15t/36t rear?
Hello Jenn, yes, the rear sprocket is a 36t and the chain is a 428 pitch. I personally think you can accomplish all the extra speed that the little 150cc can handle with just changing out the front sprocket and it's a whole lot easier to do. Thanks for the comment
What sprocket did you use I’m having trouble finding one. The first one I ordered the splines were a 17mm hole and well it was to small. I’m not seeing any with a larger diameter. Thanks for the videos as always. Anytime I have a question I refer to your videos.
Your welcome Ryan, this is the number for the 17 tooth sprocket JTF1264.17
@@herbiesgarage681 I looked it up but it too has a 17mm center hole. When I get home I’ll dig into it more and get the size on my bike couldn’t imagine them changing it. For the life of me I couldn’t get my 17t to fit even the brass keeper was a different size visibly from a quick glance and then I held them over one another and they were very different
@@ryanrandall27 that’s odd, what year bike do you have?
Why did you change your gear and what was the outcome?
Hello, I wanted to gain a better speed for riding local highways. With the exhaust modification and nibbi carb and filter and 17 tooth sprocket, I can travel 55-60mph pretty good and it makes the bike that much more enjoyable.
@@herbiesgarage681 Have you noticed any low end torque effects? That is, does it struggle at all accelerating from a dead stop after the change? I am looking to make a similar change to a 200cc bike. I don't care about top speed. Instead I am looking to make the lower gears more "usable" and not have to shift from 1 to 2 so quickly. I am a large guy, and I am just worried going form 15T to 17T might give me longer gears, but make the bike struggle to pull me "off the line" so to speak. Thanks for the great videos. Always helpful.
@@russdonofrio2763 honestly I haven’t noticed the bike struggling down low at all but then again I weigh 185lbs. If you are concerned about it you could try a 16 tooth sprocket first. The sprockets are cheap and easy to change. The bike seems to have pretty good power for a 150cc bike
@@herbiesgarage681Thanks for the reply. That's great to hear. I am hoping to try new sprocket this week. That's a good idea. I could only find the 17 for my bike for now though. 16 would take too long to arrive. If I lose anything, I will give the 16 a shot. Fingers crossed. I will let you know how I make out!
@@russdonofrio2763 okay, yes please do 👍🏻
