KH talks about "totems," which to her is a reference for the Northwest Coast totem poles. The term "totem" is in reference to a relative or relation, hence the totem pole is a story of relatives (human or more-than-human). I would have her use another term to describe her hangings.

I think these little jewels of video would be much better without the music which competes with the dialogue. I find that distracting and very annoying.
