Hands down THE best Procreate tutorial I’ve seen here on RUclips! You made it simple, clear and easy! I feel A LOT better and much at home now with the app! Honestly thank you so so much ❤ You should do a full course on digital painting for beginners honestly.. you mix aspects of traditional painting and digital “conveniences” very well and I think many people will like that Thanks again
wooo thanks man that was great! lots of tips I didn't know. only started using procreate about a month ago, for digital paintings and sketching. my usual 'layer limit' is around 8 LOL. so seeing you being so cavalier about creating new layers for everything was a fun addition haha.
Hello Jay, so I just found out your channel literally today and I’m pretty excited because I feel like this is what I was looking for a long time. Please do more tutorials but also more vlogging 👌 greeting from Mexico!
25:48 I specifically came here for that part, so at this moment youve done all sketching and outlining and you’re starting to fill in the colors and the colors are not going on top of the black outlines , I want to know how you made that happen because for me the color covers the outlines
What if i'm using a pencil with no pen pressure? is there no way to fix how, for example, i use an airbrush but instead of it looking like an airbrush, it just looks like a hard brush almost as if the pressure is at max. i dont see this problem when i'm using another drawing app (ibis paint).
Procreate has to most confusing brush settings. There mulitple taper settings, size settings, curve settings, flow etc. thats why I stop using it and stick to photoshop. I dont want to waste anymore days just to tinker the settings.
I gotta be honest this guy would confuse anyone, so as a beginner I would likely be more put off than enthused to use Procreate after watching this ‘beginners’ video. This is so not for beginners. It was crazy how one minute he’s critisising the left hand feature and sets it to right hand because it makes more sense to him as a left handed person to have the controls on the left. He promptly finds out why but doesn’t say anything and quickly without announcing changes it back and continues with the left handed version. The video has lots of great info but half of it is way too complicated for a beginner.

What brush were you using in 11:48 ?
That's the HB pencil, you can find it in the sketching brushes section

I don’t know for sure, but you could try using the hard brush in the airbrush section set to 100% opacity.
😂
