The ride I had, when taking some college courses, an old 48 Chevy 3800 1-ton, loooonnngbed . 9feet, 2inches, that stepside bed was🎯 The truck empty, with the 2 overlapping 4x6ft fishplate 1/4 inch steel, in the bed to cover the rotted boards in the bed floor, weighed 5,400lbs. Hauled in a load of scrap engines, rear axles and other heavy crap...9,700lbs, on the scale🎯 Other than hanging low, in the ass end, & a little more pressure on the brake pedal... She rode like a Cadillac❤😎☕
390 was one of the good FE model engines. 352 wasn't bad either. 360 engines were anemic, crap. Really love how you had to measure and shim each valvespring differently, on those FE heads⚡💩
