Igor, please post 2nd video with black pieces. I am a great fan of your chess lessons, you inspire me a lot and help me to get better every week 😊 Best regards and happy new year.
I literally watched the Haxo gambit, practiced it in explorer page, and go on a 10 minutes rapid game and my opponent literally played the moves I wanted🤣
Igor Thanks so much. I played one of these openings for the first time in a tournament with a two hour time control. I beat my opponent in 30 minutes who was rated 100 points higher than me.
First and most important thing you rightly teach knowingly or not is to play agresivly and allways keep attacking .smart because best defence is to attack.keep them coming and thanks for your knowledge
Reffering to the last example (number one trap) : what if my opponent plays d5 after ng5??? The bishop is cut off so it does not work anymore or does it?
Its not only one person. The chess app logs every move everyone has played so GMs like Remote Chess Academy can go back and analyze what works and what doesn’t.
Do you know that lichess has a free database with statistics of millions of games, that allow you to analyze the most played move sequences, right? Igor analysis are always spot on.
Yes. And i played haxo opening on beginner mode. And the black conputer did wonky shit that put my game out of sorts. The multitude of options and moves by a computer outplayed the haxo open.
Everyone severely underestimates the one player that isn't afraid to trade blows with you. Lol. IM COMING IN HOT, SWINGING THIS MASSIVE BAT AND I AINT STOPPING TILL EITHER OF US DROP. lol
I like the look of the bishop opening but when I try to play it I find black moves pawn to d5 not d6 after a few moves and you end up with no advantage after a big exchange of pieces. What’s the best strategy here?
5:45 does Blacks queen to D7 help block the knight fork ? Also even if the fork happens ? Seems the Mengarini version relies on Black not moving the queen
Qd7 is best move, but it's already too late for black since the white pawn is at d6. Engine says +7.50 to white so black is totally lost in this position.
In the Italian game, the irony is that the opponents took my knight and guards bishops and so the trap with opening the queen to bishop failed altogether.

Igor Thanks so much. I played one of these openings for the first time in a tournament with a two hour time control. I beat my opponent in 30 minutes who was rated 100 points higher than me.
Which one was it? If you don't mind me asking
It would be really useful if you showed game analysis bar graph next to the board so we can see how the computer sees the moves.
Was looking for a good gambit against the Sicilian since everyone knows the smith morra, cant wait to try this!
Please make a video like this for black side.
This is the best chess video ive ever seen!
Best video ever, please do for black too
At 7.26 any serious Pirc player knows the move is Nfd7 nullifying thoise lines
Check the database, only 27% plays Nfd7 (best move) while 71% plays dxe5. So, the lines showing is mostly a win for white ;-)
First and most important thing you rightly teach knowingly or not is to play agresivly and allways keep attacking .smart because best defence is to attack.keep them coming and thanks for your knowledge
GM Igor, Happy New Year, thank you.
Happy new year!
thank you so much, this is so thoughtful and well made
Glad you liked it!
Terrible opening. Opponent obviously didn’t watch this video and keeps coming up with his own moves.
I lol-ed 😂
Because You have to tell him whot he shlould play. If he don't then stop playing woth this noob bacouse he know nothing 😂
Fr 😂😂
This helped because the London system never really worked for me and I played very solidly with the kings Indian as black. Thanks!
i dont like london system either but king indian for black is the most i love.
@1:05 awesome, you see this in the Evans gambit, only this you still have the b pawn.
Thank u coach
One more thing... I do appreciate your effort to load these beautiful videos to help others learn more about chess! So, thank you very much! 🙂
Best chess teaching videos on youtube, bar none.
Now the same idea for Black would be great!
Thank you so much GM Igor Smirnov all your videos helped me reach 1400 rating in less than a week thank you so much

Wonderful!
I’ve been eyeing that loyalty program too points can really get you some cool rewards
He's easily making everyone fool and I am amazed that nobody noticed it, Lmao 6:50 why won't the king capture that pawn without a backup ?
Thank you you made my day 😊
thank youuuuu ill definatly try the openingsss
Reffering to the last example (number one trap) : what if my opponent plays d5 after ng5??? The bishop is cut off so it does not work anymore or does it?
Very helpful. Happy new year

I love when you have those forks between a major piece and another fork
Thank you

Hi GM Igor, may I ask what chess application are you using? can you share the link? Thanks!
11:30 I call it the drunk knight gambit 😂
Happy New Year’s thank you so much
You always have a very nice haircut
Just sayin
I always play Italian opening or four knights Italian varation.
I like the queen‘s gambit
ON OPENING NUMBER 3, Pirc defence -byrne variation, what if black plays f6 after Nd5 ????
You are teacher. Thank you very much for the lesson.
😃
No way someone played a million openings in 1 day to say these are the best for 2024
Its not only one person. The chess app logs every move everyone has played so GMs like Remote Chess Academy can go back and analyze what works and what doesn’t.

Love the fair play at 4RBT, they really make sure everyone has a shot to win.
Brilliant
Tried one of the live game shows last week won a bonus for answering a trivia question right
Igor, in the Mengarini, what do you do if black just goes ...8. a6 to stop the knight advancing?
THE BEST CHESS OPENINGS thank you........
Their tech setup for bets is so advanced yet so user friendly, love it
What if black bishop Take fnight is the same process allowed to check mate
I'm new to chess. Can u tell me how to navigate your videos
Could you please do onee for black pieces
Thank you. You are like Federer between tennis players.
Igor, I have a question: How do I study endgames on my own?
could you please make a similar video - but for Black!?
Are there other more openings that followed concept of side push like siciliana defense, mengarini variation?
1.b3!
Is it good to play Sicilian aganist kings gambit ?
Yes. And i played haxo opening on beginner mode. And the black conputer did wonky shit that put my game out of sorts. The multitude of options and moves by a computer outplayed the haxo open.
I opened with kings pawn to pawn 3 black moved Q pawn to Q pawn 3. I moved Q k ight to Q 3 black took my Kings pawn. Threatening Q knight.
From Libya ....thank s📢📢
can u make an opening repertoire for both colors ?
Can you explain the many variations because not all people make the same exact moves
Damn whenever I find an oppurtunity to check my opponent Im going to do it now😂😂😂
Everyone severely underestimates the one player that isn't afraid to trade blows with you. Lol. IM COMING IN HOT, SWINGING THIS MASSIVE BAT AND I AINT STOPPING TILL EITHER OF US DROP. lol
💀
This is good
👏
Nice video
For the last opening when you do Ng5 can't black do Be7 to attack your Knight
What if instead of exd4 ,then Nxd4(for the Haxo Gambit)
Nice
Very interesting opening. What if the Queen does not go to d8 but instead the bishop goes to d6? This happened in my game.
8:35 king can move to d7 to prevent the threat from knight but why you didnt played that?
Wow I love it 5 opening 😊 to mate
You are good
plz make more elo puzzle
Ur the best chess teacher
In Haxo gambit what if black pawn doesn’t take c2 pawn and develop king side knight
I'm a d4 rather than e4 player, but your line against the Pirc defense is common in the Jobava London against the King's Indian.
Gracias a tus videos logre ganar el interSABES local de San Luis De La Paz en el estado de guanajuato, Mexico🇲🇽🇲🇽
In the Italian game, the irony is that the opponents took my knight and guards bishops and so the trap with opening the queen to bishop failed altogether.
Bruh I always use London system
Easy to counter
Notice how the caro Kann is not mentioned
Nah that one is too tough
It's for black not white
At number 4 what if bishop(white) takes knight(black)9.41 ? thx
I don't understand why your opponent wouldn't just take pawn to g4 on the Sicilian defense? Not explained. ...???
what about a6 in 2nd variation
Will taylor chess made the mengarini variation of sicilian famous he plays it all the time against the sicilian
on the haxo gambit if the oponent doesn't capture the pown and choose to play quen to f6 what next then
#3 can be achieved with the jobava London as well vs the kings indian.
