You see, this is at the heart of MC. I'd briefly 'worked' (more like was entertained!) with MC in abt. '84 while he and I were in the Navy. We had conversations about how our upbringings were similar. And anytime we got on that conversation, MC would tell me one day he was going to reach the top, and when he did, he was never going to forget people and the children of his beloved Oaktown.
