Yeah for sure. I definitely have plenty of negative criticism toward the old RC but god Id never harass or threaten any of them. Every single one of them seem like nice people its insane to even think of acting that way.
Olivia especially seems like one of the most amazing people involved in magic and its WILD to me what happened considering its a casual card game...

I'm assuming you're still in touch with Olivia, PLEASE convey our love. Nobody deserves what happened to her. I would not blame her if she walked away, but it would be heartbreaking. So many people did things this week that I can never forgive, I hope they don't get to gloat about chasing a good person away.

Olivia, you are a foundational pillar in the community, and thus are very strong. Your other nerdy interests have helped fill my algorithms with cosplay/making cosplay outfits, jewelry making/restoration, LARP activities, etc., and I am better for it. Take all the time you need as we all fend off the haters for you, and we all hope to see you back on our screens when it makes sense for you.
Eilidh, thank you for continuing to provide content that helps me learn about new fun decks/mechanics to try out. As always, I'm smiling when I see a new episode has come out.

I've been playing magic since 95. I've lost money on this game many times over. It's thanks to people like Olivia who encourage creative deck building, embracing our mistakes, and being here for a good time that I even still play. I hope you don't lose your love of the game and we get to see your smiling face again soon!

As someone who is on the periphery of the Magic community, only plays Commander with her friends and doesn't engage too much online, I am actually appalled to hear about what's happened after the bans. I feel for the Rules Committee and for Olivia and Jim and everyone involved. No matter what happens, I hope the people who are responsible for genuine harm to real people's emotional and mental health find a way to self-reflect. Please send my love to Olivia, to add to the chorus of love and support. No matter what happens, I hope she's well and that she finds healing.

Olivia is a total badass (and so is Eilidh!) so i know she'll make it through this. But I'm glad she's taking the time she needs to process this and recover. It's great to see someone we all look up to take the time they need to heal, even if the circumstances around it were so terrible. We appreciate everything Olivia has done for Commander as a pillar and a fan of the format.
ALL the love to Olivia. I've been playing for 30+ years, and it's been a breath of fresh air seeing her as someone that plays and builds decks out of sheer love of the game. She doesn't deserve what happened. All of the people that sent vitriol her way can go hug a landmine.

I feel that Sheldon Menery would be greatly disappointed in many of us for this behavior regarding the format that he loved and helped shapped.

For EK's benefit, with Undergrowth Recon (and anything that targets for that matter), you need to give it a target when it goes on the stack. So saccing your Polluty Dooty in response won't let you return said Polluty Dooty
Also, Mesmeric Orb waits to put it's triggers on the stack during the Upkeep, when they will go on at the same time as any Beginning of Upkeep triggers. Titania has an intervening "if" in her trigger, so if you don't meet the criteria for the trigger, she just won't trigger. Unfortunately you can't flip her the same turn that Mesmeric Orb puts enough lands into your graveyard
Lastly, Baddie had to pay 2 life for his Fetch and Horizon Canopy (Bag End) AFTER Everybody Lives was cast. And beceause you can't lose life once Everybody Lives resolves, you can't pay life to fetch or activate Horizon Canopy ! (but yes, he could have flaoted the mana in response of Everybody Lives, so it doesn't matter)

Oliva is one of the coolest magic players in the entire community. She has made a home for so many people in the community and is one of the major reasons commander had gotten so popular.

both you and olivia really helped to rekindle my love of magic and are one of the main reasons (along with the cute bloomburrow cards) that my partner decided to give magic a go and now we play together all the time. I never planned on saying any of this and rarely comment but I want to show you guys that for every annonymous butthead hiding behind a keyboard there are so so many people who still love and support you guys. No one deserves the treatment Olvis, Jim, and the rest of the RC received. Hope they are able to get through this and still enjoy the game they clearly love. While I would understand if they stepped away from it, they would be missed, and it would be so unfortunate if the game they love was ruined because some people can't act like decent human beings.
I mean, the RC is done, but I find it very difficult to believe that the individual members won't be playing Commander any longer.

Olivia is one of the best people who bring life into magic the gathering with her crazy deck brews and her amazing cosplays. Jim is also another person I enjoy to watch. I hope this mental break will help her get through this with also the love and support of friends. I would hate for her and Jim to leave this game.
