Hello everyone!
It's been a while since my last upload. I have a couple videos from 2022 that I did not have time to edit. Hoping to upload a couple of those videos in the upcoming weeks. This one is from my birthday weekend in 2022.
We are in love with Sonoma and visit 2-3 times every year. My favorite time is usually winter since it is a lot less crowded.
As always I wanted to capture the feel of the trip. It was pretty relaxing. We got a couple minutes of amazing light which was an additional bonus.
I get a lot of questions about the new cameras. Especially if I am switching to Canon R6 Mark ii. I am still rocking my Canon R6 and really don't think I need a new camera. The only reason that can make me buy a new camera is having an internal ND in this form factor. If someone makes that camera I'll probably get one but other than that this is pretty good.
Oh one update. I was thinking about selling this lens since it is really heavy and expensive. After getting 16mm 2.8 I knew I could get by with that and my 35mm 1.8. But Canon dropped the price of the 15-35mm. It didn't make sense to sell it at the current price. Since this is the most amazing wide angle zoom I've ever used I am glad I didn't sell it. If weight is not an issue I will keep on using it in my upcoming trips. I love it's flare and characteristics.

Thanks for showing the canon r6 in a cinematic way. Alot people only do those types for Sonys or other cameras. I always come back to your videos, to learn how to and see what the r6 can do. I wish one day you would bless us on the way you edited this in davinci resolve it would help so much thanks!
Hey thanks a lot for the great words! To me there is really not much difference in any camera brand in terms of what I can create with them. Probably the most important reason I use Canon is the ease of use for me. I don't have much time to shoot so pick up the one that is most efficient for me. I am sure if I spend more time with another camera I can get pretty close too. For color grading, I get questions about it a lot but I really only have time to focus on creativity when I can. Also I think people really underestimate how much I work to get the shots. Color grading is only good when you have good composition and light. Otherwise even the best colorist would have a hard time fixing it. Maybe in the future I will have a video explaining but again I don't think it is my color grading. It is how I shoot that probably makes the image.

Hey no problem! Micro jitters are mostly due to rolling shutter. Sometimes there is nothing I can do to have usable handheld footage. I just don’t use those ones. But yeah I avoid using ibis as much as I can
@@barparildar dang, i wish there was a canon camera where ibis wasn't an issue. coming from the fx3, ibis was amazing and rarely used a gimbal

Hi, I am not sure if I would be able to answer these questions since I have no idea about what you are shooting, how you are shooting, your experience in video, if you ever used any Fuji camera before, what is your expectation from auto focus, do you use auto focus on your current camera or not, etc. if you could reply these I might be able to clear out some of your questions
@@barparildar i'm using xt3. i mainly take pictures and i have little need to record videos. however, looking at your clips i want to learn and make videos like that wondering is IBS too important for me have to upgrade to XT4 to make better videos?Thanks for answering my question🙏🙏🙏
I don’t use IBIS for 99% of my videos. So if you ask me I wouldn’t change X-T3 to get an X-T4. Hope it helps
Do you like the 15-35 better than the 16 2.8 & 35 1.8 combo? Do you have any problems with the “canon wobble” on your R6 when you go wide? Do you use a gimbal? Thanks!
Hi! Which lens I choose highly depends on when or how I am using it. If weight or size is a concern I usually go with 16mm 2.8. If not 15-35mm is pretty much my go to. I probably used a gimbal less than 2 times in the past 5 years. For the wobble, I don’t have it since I don’t use IS. Rolling shutter is still pretty bad regardless but I prefer that compared to IS wobble.
