“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy®-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob's Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family's restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

I agree. Movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 show off twists and big things to create hype and excitement because they know if they didn’t show those parts of the movies in the trailers, not as many people would go and watch them. I like them keeping it simple so they can show the big stuff in the movie

I love how much tina is respectfully autistic coded.
Homers family cares for each other too. They do show it multiple occasions. The griffins seem to abuse eachother physically and mentally. As well as the smiths on american dad.

The 2.35 scope aspect ratio is nice too, I think it really benefits the art design sometimes of 2D animated movies
This was my thought exactly. There have been some times where they add like 3d rendering to buildings and stuff In 2D movies and shows and I have praised this show for not doing it and I couldn't be more impressed the didn't use it in this movie

@@klimmr unfortunately it was probably due to marketing purposes as movie goers wouldn't watch a 2d animated film as they would expect it would come to tv or streaming later and watch it without spending alot of money, it what killed theatrical 2d animated films in the first place

This show meant so much to me when I was in high school. It was one of the things that helped me out when I was depressed out of my mind, and now it's finally getting a movie after so long! Words cannot describe how happy I am that I can clarify this as a real thing now!

I love to see the step up in animation when a show becomes a movie. This looks so clean oh my god!

This feels like a old movie trailer for the early/mid 2000’s, and I’m so happy the movie is gonna be drawn in the same style
This show has been around for the hard times.. it is my comfort show and has been my best friend’s favorite thing to watch together for years. Now, we are no longer in each other’s lives, and I’m sitting here crying over a movie trailer. We talked about going together when it came out. Now I will be thinking of her every time I go to my favorite show for a pick me up. It is always bitter sweet, knowing the memories you shared with someone will always be there, but that will never be more memories to be made in the future. I miss her, but I’m glad for those times. I know I’m crazy for commenting, I just need to send out into the universe that even though I get sad sometimes, I will be okay. And can be so excited for new things in the future, including this movie!!!
I understand. My sister is very sick from mitochondrial disease and got her brain injured from alot of bad seizures now she's in a type of coma sort of and we used to have jokes and hijinks just like the shows characters . I watch it with her now still even though she can't talk she opens her eyes sometimes and makes noises so I can tell howxshe feels and watching the show with with calms her down. She is autistic like me but she was more severaly and the characters like Tina and gene have alor of autism traits. She's just like gene and I'm more like a shyer Tina. Watching the show can make me sad because we can't have fun together like we could before sisters brain injury but it can be happy too because it reminds me of the good memories and I know my sister is still inside but she just can't show it right now in words but I know her enough to sense things
Its okay that something is happy and sad, my therapist told me that I hope you can zstilk enjoy the memories even if things aren't like that now. I'm glad I've found someone else who finds this show comforting but has mixed memories with it that makes feelings complicated

After all the delays, I really hope the movie delivers. The animation is top notch and feels different when comparing it to the animation from the TV show.
This is technically the grand rerere opening of the movie
there is ALOT more shadow work than in the show.
Hopefully it still delivers the Same Tone as the Show; and still feels like an Extension of the show; and Remains as much of the Antithesis to South Park & Family Guy as the Actual Show itself is!!

Did a binge of the entire show since this movie was announced 📣. Made it halfway through season 9.
It's a movie that just aims to entertain, and that's all I need it to be. I'm happy.
This brings me so much joy. This is a perfect trailer. It’s much more subtle that one would expect, in terms of previewing plot devices or providing something of a synopsis. It’s also kind of over-the-top in the best way possible. The burger in the beginning looks incredible, and while an obvious reference to the opening sequence, I will say…the opening sequence’s burger doesn’t have onions. (;

I have never watched 1 episode. Today we went to the move me and my three boys 13, 8, and 3. All the ones we wanted to see were already started. We went to go see this and what can I saw but we loved it! I didn't really want to see it but once it started I was hooked. I laughed out loud so many times.

I've wanted to see this since it was announced back in 2017. I really wanted to see how the animation would look on the big screen. The animation here is a really nice improvement while still staying true to the style of the series. I'm excited for this!

I've been watching the show since 2011. The theme song always brought me comfort after a long day of work and a glass of wine.

Remember how The Simpsons and South Park had there major theatrical movies. And now fifteen years later, Bob’s Burgers has a movie after being on the air for 11 years. However, since it’s debut in 1999 after the Simpsons and South Park respectively, Family Guy has yet to produce a major THEATRICAL film of there own. What bizarre world we live in. Oh, well! Congratulations, Bob’s Burgers fans! You most certainly earned this.
