The 4060 TDP of 115W means it's an upgrade for OEM builds with anemic power supplies and proprietary power connectors on the motherboard. 115W is less draw than the 1660 super and even the 3060. Yes, you can get power connector adaptors, but not everyone is comfortable with the risk. I had one that fried a motherboard.

A thing to consider when using DLSS: If you already have a CPU bottleneck at native resolution, turning on DLSS will not improve fps at all. DLSS only works if youre GPU bound (99% usage) I would've liked to see games wih frame generation tested, like Cyberpunk.

7:41 Dude when using DLSS or FSR it’s lowering the resolution to help with better performance/ FPS. Meaning if your monitor is 4k using DLSS depending on your graphics card will lower the resolution to 1440p. Example, if you have a 1440p monitor it lowers the resolution to 1080p. 1080p to 720p and you get the point. DLSS enabled 4k is usually upscaled FROM 1440p. Usually this is how it works and that’s called upscaling to your monitors resolution, but at a lower resolution to get better performance. When using DLSS and FSR it is not running at your monitors native resolution. The word upscaling basically means lower resolution lol.

Considering how much performance you're leaving on the table, it's not a sound build. You're bottlenecking the 4060 quite heavily at 1080p with the i3, which is exactly what this card targets. You'd be better off pushing for a 12600k, or maybe a 13400f. Cost may be a bit more, but at least you're not setting yourself up for an upgrade right out of the gate.

So over the next two years you'll find more games you will have to turn down the graphics settings to the point you will just want to replace it.
