I've been scrolling through the comments and been seeing some of the same questions, and since I'm bored I'll answer them for you. *Is it washable? Yes it's totally safe & will not get torn off *Whats the paper called? Transfer paper *Can I use something other than transfer paper? Nope *Where can I find transfer paper? Craft stores like Michaels Hope this helped :^)
Wow very simple. I watched the entire vid and I didn't think that it was a waste of time. You showed us how to get coupons and discounts on the items from Michaels or Joanna's( everyone needs those) then you explained printing out an image at the perfect size then you showed how to properly place image on a plain tshirt and it turned out amazing!! Thank you so much love, very helpful!!
wingleader04 right people are like its fake an i am like... wat but that is none of my bees wacks but ya you was right!!!! and i like how you that you made my day
You girls are so rude! I loved how informative she was. Very good info. If you don’t like the video move along. Everyone feels entitled to state a rude opinion or comment when really it’s NOT NECESSARY! BE KIND. 🌻
Thanks for taking the time to explain EVERYTHING. I have been trying to look for a non complicated video that doesn't explain the bare minimum, so far your the only person who knows how to explain this the way I would understand. Great video and thanks again. Subscribed
I don't know why people said you "talk too much"... I'm glad you gave a great explanation. I wouldn't want to watch someone who is silent the whole time.. I'd fall asleep.
She does explain everything very well. I just could not handle all the irrelevant information. such as pineapple pop culture, h&m forever 21. Not trying to be offensive , but if shes looking for productive feed back , please keep it on topic chicky x)
I used this paper once on a t-shirt... I found out this can work on canvas shoes... and I think I am getting some new chuck Taylor's tomorrow... I have a photo of my favorite AoT character... I have a plan...
I love this video! I made a marathon shirt, with KEEP CALM AND MARATH ON on the front (along with the crown) and then the symbol of the marathon. I didn't know that the white would show up (whoops) but the shirt still looks great! Thanks for the video!
I think you could wash it but be careful about putting it in the dryer. When I was younger my Mom would make iron on shirts all the time and when she put them in the dryer after washing, the printed image had cracks and was almost deformed. So I guess hang dry it
Hey thanks for this! I'm working on a battle jacket (denim with band patches) and I wanted a custom backpatch. So this gave me a lot of good ideas for that so thanks again!
Everyone is so rude to a girl trying to be informative and make a video. That’s what’s wrong in the world. Everyone feeling entitled to leave a ugly/rude comment. If you don’t like it CLICK ON ANOTHER VIDEO! Boom, that simple lol
love this idea! but is there a way i can do it without thaat sticky adhesive paper? (don't know what its called) bc my mom wont take me to michaels lol :)
You could always go to Walmart or to a Dollar store...they should have it. Better yet, try to go to a office depot or some kind of office supply shop. :)
thank you for this tutorial. Now I can finally have a fashionable shirt that says: Fluorine Uranium Carbon Potassium Yttrium Oxygen Uranium I'm dead serious I really want a fashionable shirt that says that.
Thank you for this lovely tutorial. I shall now make extra creative T Shorts for my 2 little boys. I use Photoshop. I'm a graphic designer, but don't deal much with printing, my dad does that. & ordering costs just as much as buying any tshirt at a fashion store. Haha. Finally to make something good!
If it is a stretchy fabric, maybe get a embroidery hoop and stretch the fabric where you put your design before you iron on the design. The cracking usually comes from the fabric stretching the design. Turn the garment inside-out before you wash and use cold water.
I think pricing at the craft stores vary by state though. I know ill go to michaels im loving every price basically. But i also have hobby lobby and jo-anns as well, and hobby lobby prices arent bad, and jo-anns fabric isnt bad pricing, but the other equipment in the store is. So idk, might be different everywhere :)
Patricia Venti yeah guys like really if you don't like it don't watch and don't post negative comments. I actually found this helpful so fuck off. Be nice.
wow that looks soo cool ive been so bored not knowing what to do so im just waching so many diy videos nd im getting alot cool ideas nd yours is one of them
TOO ALL OF THOSE WHO ASK IF YOU CAN WASH IT: YES! :D By all means yes! Make sure to turn the shirt inside out and wash it in COLD water. DRY flat, (credit to the transfer paper instructions)

a lot of transfer paper can only be put into inkjet printers--either find one that can do into laser printers, or DON'T do it. I tried and didn't realize it, and wow....a disaster.
Matt Garcia, not necessarily, getting straight to the point doesn't mean skipping a bunch of mess. She could have gotten straight to the point and said everything shorter and without a lot of examples, this video could have easily been 3 minutes long. If the image is available for commercial use, you're ok selling it on any object. If it's not clear whether or not it's a commercial use image, you need to find the owner/creator of the images you want to use and ask them for permission to use their image(s). Of course, you could always come up with your own designs or pay an artist to draw images for you and give them a percentage of your profits. :)
***** eBay, Big Cartel, and Etsy are good places to sell shirts and anything else custom made. You'll see some famous designs from pop culture too, but I assume those people got permission (and if they didn't, they can be reported, which is why I highly stress again using your own designs or asking or permission; just because others are doing it doesn't mean they're doing it legally).
you should probably get a high quality technique too. once i bought a shirt that was like this for 30 fucking dollars. it was off of ebay (lol) and the person did use some copyrighted stuff. so i negative feedbacked his ass
I'm surprised by some of the replies. No, it is not fine and you can't just surf on Google Images and pick a photo and sell them on a shirt. Most of these images are copyrighted and you need permission from the owners. You can Google "royalty-free images" and "public domain images" websites. These websites will allow you to do anything with their images.
Good video. A bit lengthy, but good. I did a few of these iron on transfers years ago. They come out looking good if you take your time and follow directions, but be aware that they WILL fade/crack after a year or so from normal wear and washing. If you are looking to make something a little more permanent/durable, I'd suggest screen printing; but that is a whole other process. Just my $000,000,000.02
have you seen the prices at these stores? i never pay full price, im just as obsessed with the coupons as she is. if you can save 50% why NOT make a big deal about the coupons
It's actually pretty pricey you know.. Jo-Ann and Michael's gets pretty affordable cause of the deals and coupons. You just gotta watch for that. I work at Jo-Ann's the prices are ridiculous at time. Thread (500 yds.) is 3.29... no thanks, I'll wait for the 50% sale.
Woah woah woah this is stealing peoples' hard earned photography/artwork here. It's not a big deal if you are making a couple shirts to wear for yourself but atleast give credit to the work you stole, especially if you're profiting from it to anyone out there contemplating starting a t shirt business. You'd rather have no t shirt than a lawsuit.
Just google the photo you want, usually try finding a transparent image if you want a photo of a certain object. Also, you don't need photoshop just google an image editor and that's it x

I don't know why people said you "talk too much"...
I'm glad you gave a great explanation. I wouldn't want to watch someone who is silent the whole time.. I'd fall asleep.

I love this video! I made a marathon shirt, with KEEP CALM AND MARATH ON on the front (along with the crown) and then the symbol of the marathon. I didn't know that the white would show up (whoops) but the shirt still looks great! Thanks for the video!
People are complaining way too much. Atleast she's giving out every step instead of skipping them expecting you to know them
3:00 in and im like "just show me how to do this shit damn!"
Fashion citizen:i dont go around wasting my money for a regular t-shirt
(Me thinking why she has lot of expensive high heel shoes)
***** and they look very similar! lol!
how do you know if they are expensive. ? -_- besides you generally pay more for shoes than a shirt
Bianca Ervin no one cares
Mercedez Taylor Gtfo! Didn't ask u shit
Lol 😂 why you get offended ¿
Didn't realize how easy this would be! And so colorful!! Thanks for making the video!
Screen printing and iron transfers are not the same thing.
Next time try to talk less and b straight forward cause I skipped over half this vid
same here
I thought I was the only one! haha,,,, I dont care who makes em, just SHOW ME how to make it!
Blah Blah I skipped 3/4
This is such a helpful video! My friends and I drew a design and photocopied the image and now we all have matching shirts!
Can you wash these shirts?
Anybody? I want to know, will the shirts bleed if you wash it/get water on it?.
yes obviously lolol
Well sorry, it wasn't obvious to me.
That's what I was wondering. And what's obvious? That you CAN wash them or that they will bleed?
I think you could wash it but be careful about putting it in the dryer. When I was younger my Mom would make iron on shirts all the time and when she put them in the dryer after washing, the printed image had cracks and was almost deformed. So I guess hang dry it
this is awesome! so is this washable in a washing machine once its finished?
It might start to chip away at the edges over time, but wash it inside out so it'll last longer. But yes, it can be machine and hand washed.
ok il probably hand-wash with some plant based soaps. thank you 4 the methodology Queen
Hey thanks for this! I'm working on a battle jacket (denim with band patches) and I wanted a custom backpatch. So this gave me a lot of good ideas for that so thanks again!
Tutorial how to extend 00:30 sec tutorial into 07:58 sec video...
Yall so rude!! She made this video for you, lmao. It's not that hard to just skip through. Don't be a baby..
anon ymous, just because you skip through doesn't mean she talks any less, she still talks a lot.
And it’s not that hard for her to shut her mouth for a little no ones being rude they’re being honest
You do you
Everyone is so rude to a girl trying to be informative and make a video. That’s what’s wrong in the world. Everyone feeling entitled to leave a ugly/rude comment. If you don’t like it CLICK ON ANOTHER VIDEO! Boom, that simple lol
Don't listen to the haters! I spent forever trying to find a diy like this and this one's perfect, its exactly what I wanted, Thanks!
I spent 30 mins XD
Can you put it in the wash and or dryer!???
i haven't tried it yet but i bought the same brand and it said you can put in the washer but to turn the shirt inside out :))
love this idea! but is there a way i can do it without thaat sticky adhesive paper? (don't know what its called) bc my mom wont take me to michaels lol :)
transfer paper lol
You can't do it with regular paper, you need to have the special transfer paper
You could always go to Walmart or to a Dollar store...they should have it. Better yet, try to go to a office depot or some kind of office supply shop. :)
thanks! i managed to get some at michales but it was $15
Oh, glad to hear you got your hands on some! Have fun. I'm thinking of trying this too. Just need to get to a store myself :)
Aww what a throwback, this is the first video I ever saw of you guys!
thank you for this tutorial.
Now I can finally have a fashionable shirt that says:
Fluorine

fucp you
Fuck You. Potassium is K look at a periodic table

Pineaaples are IN this summer!
So does the ink wash off or it stays on permanently?
***** thank you!!!
Yay! I wanted to know that too 😊
how do y prevent it from cracking?
wash in cold water
Raven LaraSoto with my kids tees, i inside them out, wash on gentle wash and hang them to dry. They have lasted forever it seems like.
If it is a stretchy fabric, maybe get a embroidery hoop and stretch the fabric where you put your design before you iron on the design.
The cracking usually comes from the fabric stretching the design.
Turn the garment inside-out before you wash and use cold water.
I wish I could give this 100,000 likes. Because this made my life so much easier. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
so whats the stretch on this? how many washes can it handle?
Don't go to Jo-Ann's its the most expensive craft store. Go to hobby lobby, every thing is significantly cheaper.
For me it is actually reversed. I go to Jo-Ann's because it cheaper than Hobby Lobby.
sadly there isn't a hobby lobby where i live
neither jo-ann's
I think pricing at the craft stores vary by state though. I know ill go to michaels im loving every price basically. But i also have hobby lobby and jo-anns as well, and hobby lobby prices arent bad, and jo-anns fabric isnt bad pricing, but the other equipment in the store is. So idk, might be different everywhere :)
Bella the Dog Michaels is expensive for me as well.
I am counting the seconds to go to my dad's house and I'm staying up ALL night the only two things keeping me awake is Pepsi and DIY vids so THANK YOU
Omg i just left because u kept blabbing on.
Too much talking makes the DIY not intrsting..i agree with u..
;)
Fucking idiots...
***** thats mean\
Patricia Venti yeah guys like really if you don't like it don't watch and don't post negative comments. I actually found this helpful so fuck off. Be nice.
Dani Bd agreed
For writing do u have to print it backwards
Yes
not using the transfer paper she used because it was image up. If it was image down then you mirror it.
wow that looks soo cool ive been so bored not knowing what to do so im just waching so many diy videos nd im getting alot cool ideas nd yours is one of them
TOO ALL OF THOSE WHO ASK IF YOU CAN WASH IT:
YES! :D By all means yes! Make sure to turn the shirt inside out and wash it in COLD water. DRY flat, (credit to the transfer paper instructions)
When she said "6.50? Pshhhhh math" LOL
Good to know I'm not the only one who peeped that lmao.
can this not be done on any kind of tee's ??
Yes
Adam Kennedy ohk ..then allu need is transfer papers ?? iron nd tee right
right
7.50.....math
math?
I can't do math either. Creative people usually can't. LOL I was a Language Arts major.
I did meet a guy one time who had a double major in English and Math. Go figure. Never knew anyone else who was good at both.
Not to disrespectfully agree with others, but u did talk quite a bit for such simple instructions. Great video though beautiful :)
Hi Stephanie!
I'm just wondering how the shirts look after they are washed a few times? I've had problems with paint or ink faded after washes with a lot of my DIY's that people have sworn on.
Did the print rip or wrinkle or anything over time?
Thanks!
How do you make the color so vibrant? Everytime I print mine out the color goes down like 3shades
thanks now it's time to print some high quality memes onto my t-shirts
This was good. I just learned how to use Photoshop and I have all these nice pictures from my trip to Peru and wanted to put on t-shirts, this was extremely helpful!
I did a panda shirt
i like pandas
***** me too pandas are soo cute for my first you tube vid. I am going to be doing panda nails tutorial
Is this safe to wash? Will the design not wear or wash off
That's what I wanted to know... I don't want it to smell
Lol
+Ethan Miller go to michaels and get the Jolene's dark fabric transfer sheets and it won't wash off or anything
+Aashna Belur you have to turn your shirt inside x :*
haha I love how you explain things so well, I did a get together with some of my friends and now we have adorable matching crop tops!❤ Tysm!
love, your new subscriber 😊
You can wash those with out the ink coming off, right?
If you turn it inside out and wash it in cold water it'll be ok
When she said $6.50 was half of $15 I felt a pain in my heart I've never felt before.
lmao why?
JustToComment it’s such simple math lol $7.50
@@LaurynTamia okay but why tf didn't i catch that the first time, math is deadass my favorite subject
it looks like you just bought it go girl you did a great job!!
Somebody PLEASE answer me.
Will we get into trouble?
Like going to google, getting the picture, then putting it on your shirt? I mean as long as we say its not our original design we wont right? I dont want to get sued or start some big commotion on it.
I believe you'll only get sued if you sell the shirts.
Doom Cloud
Lisa Liu You're fine. They won't know.
calm calm calm. its fine
Lisa Liu
Wouldn't effect you. The only reason they could sue is if you were selling their image without consent or giving royalties.
What kind Of Printer You Use?
Broderick Jones Seriously lol
a lot of transfer paper can only be put into inkjet printers--either find one that can do into laser printers, or DON'T do it. I tried and didn't realize it, and wow....a disaster.
I loved the video! But how would you transfer into silk? Would it be the same process?
why are all ya shoes in the back the same
Just for the future- if you need to find the right size for your sticker, print it in black and white first to save the ink lol
Awesome video! I've been wanting to make my own DIY workout tanks and this video will help me do it! Thanks!
have the images faded? washed off?
DMcC2021 ikr I'm wondering that to!
Is this washable? Or does it get messed up easily?
Siju, it depends on the paints you use
If its for fabrics or it works well on fabrics, it shouldn't come off
Oh, I didn't watch the video beforehand.
This stuff usually comes off, but not for a while. I suggest washing the shirt inside out in a washing bag
Hi, what brand of transfer paper do you prefer? Is there a specific size to blow the image up that you find works best for you?
3:33 Actual tutorial starts. You're welcome. (In Sadie's voice)
i love how you explained it you went in simple details !
to those who say she talks to much its a tutorial what do you think shes gonna do if she got straight to the point an you tried this youd screw up
Matt Garcia, not necessarily, getting straight to the point doesn't mean skipping a bunch of mess. She could have gotten straight to the point and said everything shorter and without a lot of examples, this video could have easily been 3 minutes long. She could have put a lot of things in her description as well.

Thank you! i like creating my own art with my own drawing and then print it. its basically my own brand XD
Sameeeee. Do you know of any other ways to transfer the artwork onto a shirt so that its washable?
could i get sued for selling these shirts, i want to start a business and if i do how can i get permission to sell these products
If the image is available for commercial use, you're ok selling it on any object. If it's not clear whether or not it's a commercial use image, you need to find the owner/creator of the images you want to use and ask them for permission to use their image(s).

Any time I see a pic of just lips, I always think of Rocky Horror.
Holy fuck I'm a guy and i found this badass lol I might try this one day except for a different graphic.
Loved this video!! The shirt you made is super cute! Could you please tell me what kind of printer you used?

Beautiful tutorial diy printing🥰.
Question, can I print images in a regular paper print or it has to be that kind of paper?
I love to save money any ways i can "she says with how many shoes behind her" lol
she has like 6 of the same pairs of shoes in the background

What do you put in search bar on Google? Transfers for shirts? How do you get Photoshop? Sorry, but I'm a beginner at EVERYTHING!! Lol! Ty!!🙏🏻
photoshop is really expensive but gimp is free and a lot like photoshop so I would suggest getting it.
Just google the photo you want, usually try finding a transparent image if you want a photo of a certain object. Also, you don't need photoshop just google an image editor and that's it x
+natasha thank you so much for the tip!!
+Aensly Leon you mean type "image editor" in the Google box? And thank you for the help!
+TheBlueDaisy yes! and you're welcome
Good vid but you really need to edit your videos better- you spent about 5 minutes talking and 2 minutes actually doing the diy
really good video, a little too much talking for me.
