You also need to iron from the inside of the shirt to completely melt the plastic on the opposite (inside) side because that's the most important side!! These shirts will last a long time and through many washes (basically as long as any store bought logo shirt) but if the plastic touching the shirt was never melted properly than of course it isn't going to stick and work properly. Try it again, and buy an ironing board goofs!
You mean like after the ironing the front flip the shirt and iron it from the other side as well ?
Thank you. I made this about a year ago; and it looked cool. But it didn't stick. Now, I'm going to try again.
Plus a little perforation on low weight paper would really help with adhesion and stretch-ability too!
@@edencohen6716 flip it inside out and iron that side
It also helps to heats that side up FIRST and after!!

I'm doing this too 🤣😂😂
Lmao 😂
🤣🤣

This is like the 4th way I've learned to make a sticker without using my Cricut...!! Now I decorate my purses & gift boxes !! Thank you ❤❤❤
You pressed this on to stickers..?

I’ve actually made shirts like this one, but my shirt lasted for a long time even after being washed in the washing machine
What's your secret?haha I would love to know

just searched for reusing shirts on here & saw your thumbnail, decided to watch on a whim. all I can say is wow, holy crap, thank you, I'm subbed! as an artist, this is a life saver for me & there's so many things I can do with this knowledge, it's like endless possibilities! thank you so so much for sharing! 🤩
It'll be great as a poster instead
To be honest....Your correct. If you want a good noice sleek poster
I Agree
Great idea!
I’m going to try this with my masks
Cool
Good luck trying to breathe...
Jules Roberts it actually worked
@@kellybriseno3691 was it stiff on the mask?
forbbiden ghoul not too much it was still flexible not as stiff as the shirt in the video
Just wanna mention that the plastic covering you get when you have clothes dry cleaned works just as well as cling film.
Thank you for this
thanks!!
This is the best video I have watched way more realistic and so much more thorough!!!!! Best video for this hands down 🙏
This couple's bond is so beautiful
Imagine wearing some tshirt everyday just adding and peeling off a new pic
That wuld be cool...
You wash it inside out
tip: I did this yesterday and for smaller things I used bigger plastic foil, like see-thru you get with orders from H&M and stuff. It’s much thicker so i feel like it sticks better
Is it fading when u wash it?
Can we use normal printing paper or is there any specific paper for this?
You guys are the funniest duo of printing....I love you for that! Keep laughing and printing!. You made my day and my year too...love you from New Jersey. Thanks a whole lot!♡
This is perfect!! Going to give this a try. All I want is a t-shirt for the day of 60th birthday that I will only wear once. You two made this such a blast to watch.
Lol this was cute . I’m glad you guys enjoyed doing this even with the flaws !
When making this use twice as much Saran wrap and thinner paper
The laughter!!!I love it
trying this today with our logo- so dope! thank you for the how-to!
Thanks for sharing guys! This is amazing and a real money saver& I’m all about saving money& using coupons!!! Thanks a bunches!
Glad you guys had lots of fun 😊 Thanks for sharing and thumbs up
What happen to the print when you wash that shirt?
If you wash it like you normally would with your other clothes then it won't last but some people are saying that if you hand washed it with cold water and let it air-dry that it might last
@@okaysoanyways2645 it does last longer that way smh
Instantly was thinking same thing
U see it, and then u dont 😂
whatever happens when throw a t-shirt and a piece of paper into a washer does
Their picture was way too big
Ya think
😅😆😂🤣
The bigger the better.
I thought you are supposed to turn the paper the other way When Ironing get it
Do you know if I could print one of my grandchildren's photo's and use that? Thank you
yeah! i would use regular printer paper instead of photo paper for best results. also i dont think using photo paper would work. the best thing to do is figure out how to print the picture on printer paper. your welcome!
I just did that with my son's photo, and yeah it does work, though it's not colored coz I only got black and white printer👍 you can check on one of my video👍
any image can be used if you can print it out
Victoria how sweet yes you can!
Just order printable htv for inkjet.. it works and will last
Soooooo cool! I’ve been wasting a lot of money buying transfer paper! Thanks guys!
You guys are nice and a mood 😊
I think it’s a great idea! And yes for a smaller image. You two were so cute and genuine while working on your project!! LOL
Hi i want to ask abt smth plz tell me if u care, can i put a photograph on my shirt the same way? I mean there won't be a problem when the matter of the pic paper is a change one?
These two are so adorable together. Well put together tutorial and the outcome is so real life hilarious. THAT being said, I love this technique and could see a legit easy way to get bold graphics onto more structured items such as tote bags. Will definitely try. Thank you.
Thank you very much this video really helps a lot. The mistake at the end brings a bigger lesson that really helps me a lot. I actually having trouble with finding tutorials like this but now, I found one✨
SUCH A CUTE COUPLE. THEY SEEM TO HAVEC ALOT OF FUN. THIS PROJECT SEEMS EASY.👍👍👍💖
well done for having a go, loved watching u 2 work thought it was fun to watch n probs fun to do ....thanks~Brendan
smiling while watching this.. this couple really looks nice. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! This comment makes us smile!
I liked the fun you guys had doing this project. Keep it going!!🥰
Thanks. Yall, i watched some of this videos on RUclips and they didnt explain full , but i understood much more here😚❤
You two are hilarious i love it, keep having fun, i die laughing also, he was like a robot
Fun, simple and great gift idea! Thanks!
dude that picture was just too big. a smaller, thinner sheet would've been easier to deal with and given better end result. oh well, we learn like that.
Avery Rose yes
Wow, it actually worked. Great video, ty.
Thanks for trying this, and I love how much fun y'all have together!
You guys are great. Having fun.
You guys have no idea how you gave me an idea while trying to get supplies on a budget very useful
Hahaahaaaaa!!!!! The great reveal was hilariously amazing!!!!!!
This saved me so much money. This was very helpful. Thankyou so much
Did u wash it ? What happened ?
THANKS GUYS FOR TRYING IT AND SHOWING THE REAL RESULT AND POINTING OUT SOME SUGGESTION AND IDEAS. REALLY DOES HELP ME ON HOW TO GO ABOUT MY FISRT TRAIL. REALLY FUN AND FUNNY WATCHING THE END RESULT 😄
y'all are super cute 😭💖 Subbed! Thanks for the idea 😄
Lol you guys made me laugh, you are so cute together. May God bless your marriage.
You have to make sure that the plastic is fully covered in the back of the picture that's most likely where y'all went wrong
Shay Johnson i did that and it still didn’t work
It’s still not working
What kind of paper is it
@@tanishawarren4978 its plain paper but i think the differnt out comes are a lot because of material, because im printing onto masks, and it doesnt seem to work on the material as well as another cotton mask that i made before
Random RUclipsr oh ok I’m going to try
Thank you for making this
I have been wanting to do this for so long and never found a good vid
That was hilarious! Love it...gonna try it.
Y’all are so cute to watch!
I'm still stumped that they didn't have an ironing board. 😂
Or a countertop, a table a floor. I literally use the floor with cardboard because my ironing board wasn't a hard surface
LOL You guys are terrific! great sense of humor!
Y’all are hilarious!
Awesome video guys I'm definitely going to try this👍🤗
Y'all remember that episode of Ed Edd and Eddy when they got those stiff azz clothes for Christmas and can I try to walk around in them without moving too much 😂😂😂 that's what this reminded me of LOL
Excited to try this for Halloween!! Thank you for sharing this!!
You guys are really cute. It was fun to see how you guys were laughing 😂😂
My first time watching a video from these lots and I can say you guys are so cute I love it ❤️🥰
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it!
what material should you get for the shirt so the photo doesn’t come off when washing ?
Omg I lost it with block boi🤣😭🤣😭🤣great video 😁🙌
Cool for a kids project ....you guy's Rock
Probably nice for keepsakes like milestone baby blankets and other items that you display only.
Nice, inexpensive method, but will work better for smaller prints
Absolutely love this video 😂 the end is hilarious
Awesome me and my fiancé are going to try this!!!!
Its a nice science experiment. Interesting, but i wouldn't use this DIY method for longterm shirt designs. Like they stated in the video, a one day thing or so.
THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD! NEW SUBSCRIBER!!!
I will try thissss thanks for the tutorial!!
Good job.
It was an experiment and you learnt from it.
Lol..... I have never laughed so hard 🤣😂😭🤣 good stuff
I wonder if there’s a way you can try and blend the paper into the fabric more so it’s not as boxy
I truly enjoyed this video. I found it 2-b very impressive, informative, helpful and detailed. Thank you so very much.
This was too fun and funny... Great job. First time watching your videos.. gonna look for more..
I wonder if also ironing the inside (with the paper of course) would help it stick since it's closer to the side that needs adhering.
I was thinking the same thing
I highly doubt this will work. If you can't afford a color laser printer than I recommend using the ones at FedEx.
@@syzygy4365 it worked this way so why not
@@blasianprincess8763 think about it. Where is that paper going to go. The image might of transfered on to that top layer of plastic but the paper is still there and highly susceptible to heat and water. The plastic wrap on the back might have bonded on to the shirt if it's the right material but even that won't last.
@@syzygy4365 yeah i didnt watch till the end when i said that. I was looking on a cheap way to customize my babygirl 1st birthday outfit hoping it would work😭😭😩
That made me laugh...thanks
That was hilarious! I'm still going to try this. 😀👍
i needed to make this for a school project thanks sooooooo much!!!
Ohhh sooo wait a second.... I thought you need to print the picture off a printer but in fact since the picture is being sandwiched between the plastic wrap and melted on the shirt then I could actually use any pictures I want riping it right out of a magazine. I don't need to print anything out. Right?
This 👏🏼👏🏼 good idea!!
Dang thanks for the idea!
She is outta line but she is right
How much times do u have to wash it till it falls apart
You guys made me laugh! And that transferring technique does work pretty well on t-shirts, but as you stated, it’s better with a smaller image! I use this method on tote bags where large images work perfectly! Thanks for sharing your experience! And don’t lose all that fun ‘n joy you share! ❤
This was awesome! I learned something new!
I really Appreciate this video!!!
Instead of using a cutting board for your ironing place, just put three towels on a table and then you got your DIY ironing table
Does this work on a duvet cover
we're not 100% sure, but possibly if it's cotton!
🤘🏽 Had to watch. I actually had high hopes (not before watching) for the production value, post ironing...
But watching that board-stiff Tshirt get put on you (like a kid getting geared up for snow😂), while highly entertaining, brought me back to reality!
Fun video. Gonna check out what else your channel has to offer...
Love u guys bcuz of the fact that u prove itz disadvantages overall it works if works awsome thanks you
Well mine didn't stick, I used more heat and less heat both...but as someone mentioned haven't tried ironing it inside out.
Also the paper gets crushed due to the iron's heat.
😂 This is exactly why I haven’t tried this but I kinda like the idea of it being temporary!
Yeah! It’s kinda cool because then you can reuse the same shirt over and over!
Guys , thank you so much . You made me laugh so much at the end of the video 😂😘
Fun experiment, thanks for sharing it.
I can finally make one direction Merch!
Omgg sameee
Did it work ??
HARRY TOMLINSON yeah it worked lol
I thought my eyes were going bad...well they ARE bad but that poster made me go crazy.😂 This is a cool idea! What was the material of the shirt? 50/50 or 100% cotton? That could have made a difference in the 'stick' ratio factor. ❤
This was very helpful. Thank you.
Omg this made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe 🤣 😂 but yall did amazing 💓 smaller images 👍🏼👍🏼thank you for the video 💖
I’d recommend using an old sheet under the shirt. If you iron on the carpet that is.
😂funny and cute I get Wht u was goin for...
Cute couple ❤️ thanks for sharing 🤗😁
Thank you the both of you 🙏🎉
