You also need to iron from the inside of the shirt to completely melt the plastic on the opposite (inside) side because that's the most important side!! These shirts will last a long time and through many washes (basically as long as any store bought logo shirt) but if the plastic touching the shirt was never melted properly than of course it isn't going to stick and work properly. Try it again, and buy an ironing board goofs!
just searched for reusing shirts on here & saw your thumbnail, decided to watch on a whim. all I can say is wow, holy crap, thank you, I'm subbed! as an artist, this is a life saver for me & there's so many things I can do with this knowledge, it's like endless possibilities! thank you so so much for sharing! 🤩
tip: I did this yesterday and for smaller things I used bigger plastic foil, like see-thru you get with orders from H&M and stuff. It’s much thicker so i feel like it sticks better
This is perfect!! Going to give this a try. All I want is a t-shirt for the day of 60th birthday that I will only wear once. You two made this such a blast to watch.
It was cute when he was trying to move around with it on. Had me laughing and thinking maybe you should have ironed the inside of the shirt and it may have been sealed a bit more, yet, I believe the shirt washed once would have fallen off during the wash. I subscribed because you are both so genuine and laughed at yourselves. Thank you for a wonderful post.
If you wash it like you normally would with your other clothes then it won't last but some people are saying that if you hand washed it with cold water and let it air-dry that it might last
Y'all remember that episode of Ed Edd and Eddy when they got those stiff azz clothes for Christmas and can I try to walk around in them without moving too much 😂😂😂 that's what this reminded me of LOL
You guys are the funniest duo of printing....I love you for that! Keep laughing and printing!. You made my day and my year too...love you from New Jersey. Thanks a whole lot!♡

Its a nice science experiment. Interesting, but i wouldn't use this DIY method for longterm shirt designs. Like they stated in the video, a one day thing or so.
@@blasianprincess8763 think about it. Where is that paper going to go. But watching that board-stiff Tshirt get put on you (like a kid getting geared up for snow😂), while highly entertaining, brought me back to reality! Fun video. Ohhh sooo wait a second.... I thought you need to print the picture off a printer but in fact since the picture is being sandwiched between the plastic wrap and melted on the shirt then I could actually use any pictures I want riping it right out of a magazine. I don't need to print anything out. Right?
I thought my eyes were going bad...well they ARE bad but that poster made me go crazy.😂 This is a cool idea! What was the material of the shirt? 50/50 or 100% cotton? That could have made a difference in the 'stick' ratio factor. ❤
Hello, fashion designer here. If you want to make shirts for you clothing line/brand like this, don’t even. I know this seems a lot more cheaper then actual way to create a graphic but even so after one wash it will be gone, unless you arent really serious about this id say go for it but for people who actually want to start making graphic tees and such, you’d be better off doing a screen print or even so finding a local shop to do it for you or even websites that make them for you. I know they are gonna be alot more expensive but its worth the money. Just a tip tho ❤❤ great vid btw
Thank you very much this video really helps a lot. The mistake at the end brings a bigger lesson that really helps me a lot. I actually having trouble with finding tutorials like this but now, I found one✨

You mean like after the ironing the front flip the shirt and iron it from the other side as well ?
Thank you. I made this about a year ago; and it looked cool. But it didn't stick. Now, I'm going to try again.
Plus a little perforation on low weight paper would really help with adhesion and stretch-ability too!

I'm still stumped that they didn't have an ironing board. 😂
Or a countertop, a table a floor. I literally use the floor with cardboard because my ironing board wasn't a hard surface
Its a nice science experiment. Interesting, but i wouldn't use this DIY method for longterm shirt designs. Like they stated in the video, a one day thing or so.
I wonder if also ironing the inside (with the paper of course) would help it stick since it's closer to the side that needs adhering.

I highly doubt this will work. If you can't afford a color laser printer than I recommend using the ones at FedEx.
