Thank you so much! This is the information that I sat through countless videos to get with zero results but yours solved it mere minutes! I had no idea that reset button was there. Again, thanks for posting this video:)
Lexi Lee You’re very welcome!
I've got a 2005 RAV4 and I'd never had a problem with the TPMS light. I recently took it in for a routine tire rotation and afterwards, the light kept coming on. I made sure the tires were at the proper pressure and I'd reset the light and it would just keep coming back on shortly thereafter. I took it back to the mechanic and they told me that the TPMS is a dealer-serviceable item. The last time I got a service quote from my dealer, it was $2,100 to replace the entire exhaust system due to a tiny crack just before the muffler. I got a local muffler shop to fix it for just $70. Because of this, I was really nervous about taking it in to the dealer. I found this video, and I checked a couple other videos and external sites to get corroboration on what it proposed that I do. I rechecked my tires, held down the button to trigger the reinitialization, drove the circumference of my town's beltway which takes about an hour, and the light has stayed off since. This video probably just saved me untold hundreds of dollars. Thanks so much!
You're so welcome Danny! HIGH FIVE!
I was told by Mercedes that it would cost $1,100 to replace all four TPMS sensors in my car and program them 😲
Where may I ask is the button located on the make and model of your vehicle?
@@djpseudoname2023 I have a 2007 RAV4 and there is no button. I guess I am stuck with going to the dealership.
@@MrGunny2009 try reading the manual before going to the dealership, and or putting in 2007 Rav4 in the youtube search. Somebody's probably made a video, and the instructions are probably in the vehicle's manual.
Awesome Video Instruction! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this for us & God Bless you too!
You're very welcome Shane. Here's another maintenance tip that most people don't know. ruclips.net/video/jCyUuJSW0Ls/видео.html
Thank you so much...... i've been hopelessly searching for that solution.....
Your videos are a lifesaver. Thank you for what you do!

thank you for taking the time to explain step by step, that was perfect!
gregory rodriguez You’re very welcome!
Solucionado mi problema.... Gracias por su útil video Sr. saludos desde Costa Rica...!!!!
Thank you, my Toyota Yaris Hybrid was down below the right hand side of the steering wheel, very well hidden, but this worked
Been trying for several days, but I didn't realize that I had to reset it by holding the button, until it flashes 3 times!
Thanks!!
Thank you. In my car there is a button with the TMPS symbol in front right side of the wheel so i press and hold just after i turn on the car and it worked. Thanks again for the info.
Very helpful, exactly the information I was looking for. Thanks a lot!
👍😊
My first time to do this, and that so easy. You guys are pro and thanks for the help!!
Ismael Bonsato 👍😊
Thanks a lot for info. My Corolla manual tells the initializing steps but it doesn't even mention that it also takes an hour of driving to fully complete it. (a few months ago I followed the initializing instructions in the manual and the low tire light stubbornly stayed on, then a few days later went out - was a strange mystery at the time, but now it's been solved)
👍😊
Thanks for actually showing where the reset button is & explaining the process step by step.
Older car has the botton but newer does not have it
How to reset new cars
Many thanks for another helpful and informative video.
Hey thank you sir, that solved my problem!!! And for free, yay did it myself.😁 God bless you and yours, stay safe.
👍😊
Important note is tat reinitialize resets based on new pressures. So if you want 34 as you base pressure and it was set to 30 doing the reinitialize does that.
Great reset procedure. NOTE: The 2006 Scion tc button is in the glove box !!!!!! Thank You
Thank you so much for this video! God bless you also
You sound like Kermit the frog kinda
Not Kermit the Frog! 😂(in my Khloé Kardashian voice) 😂😂😂😂
Thanks Troll I guess i gotta drop the tire to pump it up.Thank you for the info
In my 2010, the button is in the same area, but to the right of the steering wheel instead. Thank you!
Thank you soooooo much!! This was so easy!! 🎉🎉
Hi I found this information very helpful . I have a dodge avenger 2011 . Is it going to be same for that ?
Don't know for sure but I read that if the spare tire was low it would also trip the sensor light.
So check it also. (I worked in the tire industry for 30 years & you wouldn't believe how many
cars that came in with flat spares because they NEVER checked the pressure. I always keep
50PSI in my spare. You can always let some out if you get a flat & never wish it had air in it!!)
I bought new Winter tires with new 16 inch steel rims and I had them installed and the next day as I pulled into the parking lot where I work my tire pressure light was flashing and then it stayed on steady now it does that each time I start my car it flashes then stays on I downsized my rims to 16's for the winter my all season tires are 17's with the oem alloy rims I'm gonna try putting air in my tires and check the psi if the light is still on I'll try resetting it and if the light is still on then I guess it may be the tire pressure sensor battery
Thanks a whole bunch brother.
Thank you! This was very helpful, will try this today!
great help. God bless you!
Does the 2003 Toyota Sienna have sensor
Worked fine for me ☺️
Thanks and Blessings!
Ty.i just got a 2009 ford excape and that light stays on. now I know how to fix it
Is it different with different years? My Toyota if I just press the reset button the light doesn’t go off, I read to hold it and wait for the light to blink 3 times then release, but the light continues to stay on. I tried it again and then after some driving it ended up going off, but this morning woke up and started my car and boom there she was again on and solid. Should I try possibly putting about 34psi instead of the called for 32?
How can I disable the tire pressure warning light if I choose to do so? Do I have that chose at all?
does this video assume that all TPMS sensors are OK? Can you reinitialize if one or more of the sensors are bad?
Thanks so much I watched many video but you doing the simple way tks allot

Just out of curiosity. What is the difference between setting TPMS pressure and identifying all wheel and tyres TPMS. Can I cause any harm in touching it, I have a 2023 Toyota Yaris Icon Hybrid In the UK.
Thaks

Thank you so much. You know TPMS while meant to be there for our safety is really a flipping pain in the ass.

We had new tires and sensors put on for all 4 tires on our 2007 Honda CRV. The light stays blinking now, even after driving 30 minutes on Highway at 45 mph. How do I get it to go off?
How do I make sure the warning light is only because of cold temperatures?
They still use this system, i have a 2021 Rav4 and couldnt figure it how to reprogram the TPMS
only difference is insted of a button its a setting hidden in the middle dashboard screen

Thanks....however....not working here. I've got an 08 FJ. I don't have a button bottom left or right or anywhere under the steering wheel. Any help? I know to reset caution lights I have to push the button to change display of total miles or two separate mileage counters. Thanks again.
Oh. Of course. FJ wheel/tire pressure info is for 265/70 tires. I've had 285/70 tires since first tire change in 2011. First time this has happened.
thank you for the explanation 😄
I cannot find the button on my base 2007 rav4.

Light flashes for about a minute, then stays on. I held the button in for about 5 minutes and nothing happened. All tire pressures including the spare are good. Soooo... Sensor?

@@rahvisionproductionz2929 you might have a bad tire pressure guage, it's hard to find a good 1 , you can have 5 gauges and they'll all be different giving you a medium

Where is it at on 2011 Cadillac SRX
Any idea for 2010 FJ?
Really informative.
What if your car doesn't have a reset button?
Where can I find the button on a 2012 Toyota Camry?
I've got a 2014 camry and can't find that button anywhere. I've laid on my back with a flashlight and don't see one.
very helpful! thanks!
Thank you! ❤❤❤
Thanks for your info. best yet.

Does Toyota Yaris 2011 has that bottom ?
If this happens and the car is more than 8 years old just go to Costco and get all 4 tire sensors replaced. The batteries last 8-10 years and aren't field replaceable.
Excellent thank you.
