    Ist doesn‘t work in my LAN as it does in your video. When I type is my subdomains into my browser on my Windows PC, nothing happens. Is there a way to make this work in my lan?
    I just want to host multiple websites the way you showed but only in my lan, not public.

      On your windows/linux PCs you can add the hostname to the host files with the IP address of the servers. If you want just local then edit it that way

    Hello I have a question. Sense the websites are local /var/www/html/website1 /var/www/html/website2. Can you point them to another IP on the network instead of keeping them on the local raspberry pi itself?

      @VMwareAdvisor  3 года назад

      In theory Yes if you map the network drive. For security and overall performance? I wouldn't advise it . This method will work on any debian based OS like Ubuntu and Linux Mint as well if you don't want to use a RPI

      @@VMwareAdvisor Hello for Testing purposes it is easy for me to use the raspberry pi to learn these things. But it is harder to setup a VM then do all the install and setup for ubuntu just to get a test server. That is why I use the raspberry pi for. In real time This for me will be setup on a VM or a full server of some kind.
      Which brings me to my next question. How would i point it to another server that already has apache php with mysql on it? I'm working on giving my brothers there own server to host there own stuff on it but i only have one static ip with only one port 80 on it?
