- Hello and welcome back to another fly fishing video! Last month I headed down towards Deckers to fly fish in Cheesman Canyon on the South Platte River. It was an awesome day that was both rewarding and difficult at times. I am already excited to head back again this season and see if I can get another brown trout in the bag!

I love fishing Cheesemen Canyon. Walk sucks to get there but wow, the river is beautiful. I always walk farther in though. So many large fish, such clear water. Damned near the most perfect trout stream I have ever fished. Thanks for the great video! And I was out there during April when you shot this so great memories.
I couldnt agree more, I love that area so much. Very beautiful and like you said plenty of quality fish. Next time I head out there I plan to walk in further, hopefully will get out there before the season ends. Saw a couple weeks back there was landslides in the canyon so hoping thats cleared up.
