AL JARREAU WAS THE BEST ARTIST IN THE WORLD . UNIQUE VOICE , UNIQUE TALENT !
Yes !
Steve Gadd-oh yeah!
As for my memory, it's the one of the best works of Jay Graydon.
Fire fire fire
Steve Gadd, Nathan East?,Charles Icarus Johnson…..etc….what a band….fitting to Mr Jarreau…..
Thank God for the 80's!!
Gotta keep on...gotta keep on gotta keep on.
Real music, real musicians, each getting off on each others superb musical talents.... absolutely superb 👏👏👏👏👏 thanks for re-posting in excellent quality 👍👍( saw this live when it was originally broadcast..😊 fantastic ❤)
I remember buying High Crime after watching this on the tube, brilliant.
Yes, powerful songs!
Greatest tour of. Al's career!!! RIHP. Sir!!
Steve Gadd and Icarus on guitar great!😊
日本のテレビで深夜にThe Tubeを放送してまして、この動画を観ることが出来るんですよ
Steve Gadd at 0:39 seconds...Brilliant...🤣🤣🤣
The 80s….imagine having Steve Gadd and letting that Linn 9000 play it‘s stiff groove
Insane really!
I would love to have an explanation for the thumbs down on this video... what are those people thinking?
They're not.
Show de bola!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a phenomenal artist❤️
Wow!!!
❤️
Éternel !
Rock ON
The great 'Steve Gadd' on drums!
And Nathan East on Bass!
GREAT THANK YOU May y have musicians names?
🌹🎼🎶🌈♥️✌️ Munich 2 0 2 1 (R I.P. Karin 🙏)
Excellent tonguing staccato 1/16th notes by the horn players
Not easy to do
Is that Nathan East on bass guitar?
It is. He played on the respective studio album High Crime (1984) and the respective live album In London (1985) that period.
@@landischorsch Didn’t know that. I’ve mainly listened to him on the several Fourplay cds I have. One of my favorite bass guitarists.
Did Marotta play "Wembley '84" ????????
Nah dude that was Ricky Lawson
Ricky Lawson. I was at the Wembley gig. Support was David Sambourn Band featuring Gadd and Marcus Miller.
This horrible song really is a testament to what horrible times the eighties were... Just imagine, the trilogy of masterpieces "This Time", "Breakin' Away" and "Jarreau" follwed by this plasticky junk... while the producer still was Jay Graydon ! WTF happened? And seeing the grandmaster Steve Gadd behind the drumset trying to play above this idiotic Lynn-drum "groove"... pathetic, and so sad. What a wate of talent!
Una delle più brutte canzoni di al jarreau
❤
