Setting up your Fire Tablet: Unbox your Fire Tablet HD 8 or HD 10

Welcome to your Fire tablet. In this video, we unbox your Fire tablet HD 8 or HD 10 and get to know the primary buttons and physical features.
In the box are 5 items:
1. Fire tablet
2. USB Power Adapter
3. USB-C cable
4. Quick start guide for setting up and charging your tablet
5. Brief guide on making the most out of your tablet.
Before continuing, remember to remove the plastic film from your tablet and USB power adapter.
Now, let’s get to know your Fire tablet.
Along the edges of the tablet are several buttons and ports.
Keep in mind that there are slight differences between Fire tablet models.
To identify the buttons and ports, hold the device with the screen facing you. On the top and side edges, you will find buttons and ports.
* The long button with a divider in the middle is the Volume Control Bar. Pressing one side of the control bar decreases the volume and pressing the other side increases the volume.
* The Power Button is the smaller button. It turns the device on and off and puts it in and out of Sleep mode.
* The USB-C port that is oval shaped and a headphone jack that is circular.
* Tablets released in 2022 and 2023 have a microSD slot on the side covered by a small flap.
* Your tablet has two cameras. One on the front in the middle of the edge and another, on the backside, in the corner.
To charge your tablet:
1. First connect the USB-C cable to the power adapter.
2. Then connect the other end of the cable to the USB-C port.
3. Then plug the Power Adapter into the wall outlet to begin charging your tablet.
