There is actually a theory that Ermac was supposed to be on the base roster but possibly because Un-Alive Squad got delayed so many times, WB rushed NRS to release MK1 early. This resulted in Ermac being pushed back to DLC. 4thSnake made a video on it.

It is cool he's back, but he was in the last game, i would like some characters with less spotlight in the newest games, like Hotaru, Kintaro, Playable Striker, and others like that. If you guys like he's back, i 100% am happy you guys get what you were wanting, but for me, with the rumors of Cassy, nightwolf and Eron Black, i would like if they stop just bringing back characters that were in the last game, and bring some that were absent for more time, but again, i didn't buy any dlc for the game, and problaby won't. Got base game at launch and it didn't hook me, so i guess i shouldn't complain much 😅😅😅

sf5 try every new thing to fix the game, remember when the game was out it a incomplete game, will only online and survival, 2 month later they add story mode, 1 year later arcade edition with new added mechanic, arcade edition is where sf5 started to get good

After being an MK fan for most of my life I've realised the best way to enjoy a Mortal Kombat game is to watch the fatalities on youtube, wait 3 years for it become irrelevant and drop in price, buy it and play it in local mode with my brother.

They will probably by end of this game being supported they will have Kuai become Sub Zero and Hanzo become Scorpion since Hanzo is confirmed to exist from Smoke’s arcade ending and intro dialogues. Or they might actually revert Bi Han depends. Still it’s strange they are doing Noob so earlier considering it’s been only one game with Bi Han as the main Sub Zero.

It's crazy how an MK game with almost every ninja (missing a few ladies), a couple of characters that have either been made complex or redeemed like Sindel, Baraka, Reptile and more, it has Homelander, Omni man, the only kombat kid people liked, and so much more going for it got ruined by greed and neglect. I seriously think if they made this game grindable like MK11, replace invasions with towers of time, made cosmetics grindable, actually fixed and buffed whoever needed it, and put more effort into the actual game than the DLC's this game would genuinely be up there and still heavily played. The DLC characters this year genuinely had me laughing, I can forgive ketchup and mustard iron man at this point but even as a fan of retro content they could've chose some of the best villains or fighters in history and they somehow messed it up

People are squealing about how much it's like MK9 Noob. Well, riddle me this, why not just go back to MK9, a game with more, cooler characters in general, and just play that game?
The Noob Saibot voice in this game is better than the one in MK11
One thing i like about mk1 is the story. But everything else is a mess. I play it because im a fan, but holyyyyy its bad man. I miss the MK11 towers of time and the ability to earn EVERYTHING through just playing it. I hope Netherealm will separate from WB and that MK2 will be better. I just don't think it ever will. But I'ma keep playing it and I'll give it the time of day because im a die hard player.
It’s not just that interactive maps can extend the combos it’s about throwing a grandma at your enemies and just the maps immersion
That multiverse shit is staying. Its clear they want to be the MCU and sektor is proof of this since she 100% rips off mcu iron man making my dime store iron man comment about the "new" cyrax an sektor hold even more weight. As you said this story DLC aint changing shit. The main problem is content itself. As in there is no content, lacking customization and invasions suck. Not to mention the crap ton of balance issues.
What Mortal Kombat game needs:
Konquest mode for each MK character and within it unlockable stages( from all MK games and their wariants), costumes from all MK games even for those MK characters that weren’t in that game promotional renders for Shao Kahn from MKDeception ( MKDA bone mask and spikes material version) and MK9 ( MK9 trailler, Quan Chi MK9 ending, Raiden MKX ending). (MK2 comercional trailler) These skins shouldn’t be redesigned even female skins from Deadly Alliance, MK9. Should be option in a game that allowed more reveal costumes and advanced customization for each female character like size of some parts that NRS recently abandoned to show and even made these smaller and these skins should be anvaible at least in create your tower mode. You should be able to use all costumes, flesh body skins, abilities, characters to made your unique tower 300 stages to fight offline with against AI or friend.
Each character should have five types of height: small-thug( absorbs only 100% damage ), default-main( absorbs only 70% damage ), medium-elite( absorbs only 50% damage ), big-sub boss( absorbs only 20% damage), large-boss( absorbs only 10% damage), enormus-Uboss ( absorbs only 5% damage),
Ultimate boss is One Being which is Onaga but instead of wings it’s have cape with evil spikes on Shoulder pads, bone skull like Shao Kahn but fitted to Onaga’s. So it’s Onaga’s body with Shao Kahn’s Armor and that’s what I could use some armor parts like they did in MK1 Shao Kahn Deception skin but only for One Being, not to redesign Deception skins.
In the first seven rounds, ShaoNaga will fight with wraith hammer but in MK logo will be surrounded by euqual Shinnok’s green gem’s fragments and the rest with accent of rest golden Shinnok’s amulet shape( it’s like we see that MK logo, the symbol of the Elder Gods but it’s shown that they are imprisoned, around this amulet there are kamidogus and all of it can be seen in both sides of wraith hammer.
These were from all realms from each timelines merged in one ultimate relam’s kamidogu used in weapon of the One Being.
The armor of the One being, is Shao Kahn’s Wildy gothic design with bone accent, but the chest is that what contains the Diamond of Onaga the same surrounded like Dragon’s logo in wraith hammer but these are kamidogus and Shinnok’s amulet a timeline’s relicts( they are six timelines, and Titan Shinnok’s amulet )
All edges of his armor will glow to reddish orange as it’s absorb’s also power of Blaze from all timelines.
So after first seven rounds you destroy it’s weapon and then you must face it in next seven rounds to destroy it’s armor but it will reshape cape for wings so it will be more Dragon King’s attacks combined with Blaze’s fire and reddish orange lighting.
So every one will have iconic style, weapon and special movies
You may choose every character’s fighting style from each game and you may fight only foots and fists or only using weapon or combine it both or both with special movies addition or you may use special movies that take damage additionally throught basic attacks and weapons.
About flesh skins:
Normal : old, young, default
Advanced- they affect not only on body skin but as well on costume and special movies: Vampire, Kryomancer, Hellfire, Soul’s vessel, Revenant, Dark, Dragon’s vessel, Saurian, Tartaka, Thunder Sentiel etc. So it will affect not only on flesh skin and costume’s apperance but also it will also have impact on character’s abilities. For example Sub Zero if he would have Tarkata flesh skin but also instead of ice his special movies contain icy tarkata bone blades ,NOT Baraka’s special movies.
So each character’s iconic special movies remain but in unique theme depending on which flesh skin you will choose.
Believe me THAT version of MORTAL KOMBAT game could be THE BEST EVER.
But we know that can this be obtained
only if YOU talented moders can join your magneficient minds and TOGETHER YOU CAN FULFILL THIS what NRS won’t because they are lazy.
First was MK deception/armageddon
Remember that in deadly alliance intro Shang Tshung’s model isn’t finished and we can also see that Shao Kahn’s design is bit different from his MK deception promotional render skin: his material of his helmet and spikes is bone, spikes are straight on hers kneecaps and his Deception render has curved spikes but all are steel as well as helmet. What they did in MK Armageddon? Imagine that in MKA there is no Sub Zero’s Deadly Alliance costume alt Instead you got his MK deception alt skin which is not worthy of our main Sub Zero. One more thing, imagine MK9 Scorpion’s promotional render, it’s cool but NRS uses his MK vs DC version in MK9 instead of this what they promoted.
Small thing like in MK1 his Order of Darkness render icon in premium shop, he has yellow mask with red accent but ewentualny you got black mask with yellow accent.
Shao Kahn’s tournament design known from MK9 trailler which are Raiden, Jax, Millena, Scorpion and Sub Zero. Well Jax and Shao Kahn’s designs were abandoned and in MK Armageddon instead of promotional render Deception Costume, Shao Kahn has MK Deception alt costume.
Instead of adding alt deception Raiden they should add DA main costume Raiden as alt in MKA.
Motaro in MK Armageddon has only two legs and too short tail so they couldn’t give him horse legs and longer tail with their basic and special movies attacks?
They included Motaro in MK9 as centaur but he was on the screen in story as scenery character. Before MK1 annaucement I would say kameo but to not konfiuse I replace it.
So about Motaro’s centaur form the same style as it was in MK9. Long enought horse lower torso, his back legs have like kangooro’s tendons which they lenght make Motaro bigger.
About his basic attacs are:
Hands for opponent’s stance attacks
Front legs bicycle for enemy’s lower atacks
Back legs kick for teleport attacks
Tail for medium distance attacks from front, behind (air, stance)
Motaro grabs opponent by stick his sharp blade of his tail (normal, bone or cybernetic), throught opponent’s body and smash it on the ground or throw behind to kick him/her using back legs kick.
Motaro would have a natural shield which would deflect projectiles from opponents from lower or the same category of height as Motaro, if higher than he absorbs 50%more damage than usual.
Each character that can teleport may use any of it’s special movie attack right before opponent turns front of him.
I hope that my message will reach these who have talent of creating fan fighting game with advanced unreal 5 engine and these what I described before.
Maybe some or most of you will say
„This is UNREAL, not gonna happen”. That’s my message contains that TOGETHER YOU who is making their own games, if YOU will do THAT MK game, IT WILL COVER NRS BY SHADOW OF SHAME COMING FROM YOUR LIGHT OF GLORY THAT YOU ACOMPLISHED WHAT ED BOON WILL NOT.
The success of NRS relies on them getting behind actual MK characters. Majority of the community is getting this expansion for Noob and its not even a debate.
They need to stop peddling guest characters and focus on the rich history of the phenomenon known Mortal Kombat!

Nah A Spider-man online game is the only thing the multiverse could go well with Im ngl if only insomniac did a suicide squad (storyline ex: Fighting Venomized Sandman , A Fused hybrid of Venom and Carnage, Play as Otto Octavius to steal Peters body) like this game imo would win Goty

-they buff high tiers and nerf low tiers? Bro, they showed in kombat kast they buffing low tiers like Havik and basic kameos. At least don’t exaggerate when you don’t know subject fully
-there are fighters towers in the game aka character’s mastery. They just work differently
-warrior shrine should be dropped with this DLC according to the Thiny, so there will be more ways to unlock stuff soon enough

I ain’t gon lie, dlc looks dope story wise(and my neegah Noob looking fire as always ❤) and gameplay wise. But I’ll wait till Black Friday , Invasion Mode done sour my entire desire to play that game :/ (and monkey boi Wukong is way more fun right now)
I'm not interested in this game (at least, not anymore), but the inclusion of Noob, Omni-Man, Ghostface, Takeda, and the Animalities make it REALLY tempting for me to buy it.
