I feel bad for henry and wish he got this version of superman but it is what it is. That aside the trailer did what superman is suppose to do which is give you hope. Also it shows bright colors instead of muted ones. People seem to forget supermans nick name which is the blue boy scout. Hes a man that would save the whole planet and have no issue with saving a cat stuck in the tree or just talking to someone. I hated synders movies because it seemed like it wanted to make superman grim dark which the core of the character isn't that at all.

James Gunn take on Superman is indeed very promising to watch next year. Also this is the hopeful Superman we wanted to see in movies, and the trailer itself delivered it.

personally, I'm no superman fan. don't know the character much besides from henry cavill's performance and the justice league animated show. However, I've wanted a GOOD mainline DC live action film for ages, and this shit looks too peak. I'm still keeping my expectations to a standard, cus DC has failed me before (COUGH COUGH SNYDER-VERSE COUGH COUGH) but it has came out with some bangers. Hopefully this is one of em.
