I love when old games have like there own fanbases and they still have like people working on mods on the game and playing on it. I might get this game again and mod
Man this mod is absolutely kicking my ass... AND I LOVE IT!!! Never would I have thought that there'd be a brutal mod for a game like this, and soo well made at that. Love all the previously unused features that add to the challenge that make it wayyy more to bear, but not cheap. Love the improved quality on the bonus gallery images. Not all the cutscenes work for me though but I don't think its a problem with the mod itself
If you're missing cutscenes, I'd recommend checking out the fmv folder I linked in my Mod Install Video, that has a complete set of cutscenes. (Only if you decide to install them, you should reinstall the fmvs from the 2.0 Mod afterwards, as there are some minor edits to certain cutscenes for 2.0)
@@DigitalArctic i've got a few of them working, ive seen the edited barricade tranquility one. But say I want to see all of the cutscenes, or the fmv extras in the bonus menu, I cant watch them, idk if its an fps problem since I run this game at capped 30 fps, or I mightve forgot to install the second fmv folder from you. Can you also please do a showcase showing the extra combos and how to preform them? Aswell as the new features each drone has, does this work with the alternative mod?
@@boyboy-ru3gx You should install this clean fmv folder. Cutscene issues are never ever caused by fps issues. drive.google.com/file/d/18rqKTh6ZeXkn9XnWD1kHCaanXDr-mxvm/view?usp=sharing Then reinstall the fmv folder from TF_2.0 Main Files. I don't plan on doing a video showcasing the extra combos. (To perform them you need to input movement before returning to the idle pose of the combo. So press punch once and hold run at the same time, or press punch twice and hold run at the same time. Etc. Already made a video on all the new Elite Drone features. This mod is not compatible with the Alternative Mod I'm afraid.
Thank you for not buffing the difficulty on that mission where you need to escape from fire tunnels. After i saw the MASSIVE buff of the earlier mission, i knew, the tunnel mission is gonna be a nightmare, but it wasnt :)
You are a legendary i played this game since I was 8 I wanted to play it again but my ps3 broke and is getting fixed looking forward to playing this game again thank you so much
We need to spead this to all transformer fan. Now I believe fate exists since I've been bored lately with everything then I remember the good time with this game, decided to watch in again and discover this. Looking for Copper, found gold.
I just stumbled upon this on the RUclips feed suggestion page and holy smokes does this look cool and it's a unofficial update/rebalance of the game to
Been playing the mod, loved it up until the first mission in Hoover Interior with the security doors. The inclusion of Barricade feels kind of unnecessary and after you defeat him a Mixmaster (or whatever the ones are that can only be damaged via throwing objects and then throwing them.) appears which is a nightmare because most of the throwable objects seem to have used and despawned while fighting Barricade. Perhaps I'm just bad but it felt a bit much especially for the first mission in the chapter.
@@sp00ky-tv Yeah, kinda worried about both this and the final bosses. I'm not really a veteran player of the game and didn't even know people considered themselves vets till the trailer mentioned it. Perhaps I'm just missing something that makes it easier but TFG feels like a game that's still rough and jank enough that winning is more defined by killing the enemies as fast as possible as opposed to dodging and such. Especially with the knockback. None of this is Digital Arctic's fault though. The mod is insanely well made. (Sorry if I'm very rambly, its like 3am lmao.)
@@sp00ky-tv I remember noticing the difficulty kind of spiking around Shockwave on the Autobot campaign. Took me a few tries to take him out and having to throw so much shit at him felt kind of a drag. I was happy when I beat him though. I've decided to try out the Decepticon campaign before continuing with Hoover Interior on the Autobots because that first mission with the Barricade boss kind of left a poor taste in my mouth.
I started this mod today and just the first mission alone is a million times better. I am getting some screen tearing though that is probably more on my end. It's all looking good so far. Love that I can actually shoot the bigger guys. And knock down the cement guys without throwing something at them. I think the only thing I would want changed at the moment is the camera wobble when the character walks or runs. I am going to play the crap out of this mod! 😩
@@Auti3D lol. I got to inside Hoover dam and the first mission destroyed me. After Barricade randomly showed up and wacked the crap out of me in the narrow hallway. I managed to defeated him, just for one of the last two drones to sound the alarm. 😭 I like the challenge though. Makes some of those more boring missions worth playing!
I loved those games back in the day, heck, they're probably still my favorite TF games now. Multiplayer and Escalation added so much replay value after the campaign was over.
@@DigitalArctic ik. i used to play them with buds all the time on steam (who're still TF fans to this day), i originally joined foc back in 2015, and played up until ending. I've always been a huge TF fan of every continuity, grew up with'em man.
Been playing the mod, did the combat tutorial but I'm still a bit confused. It said to wait until you get back to the idle animation but that just makes me repeat the first attack over and over.
my game crashes at the same spot every time, in the first decepticon mission, and when I finish a 3 hit combo and tries do move he uses the dash attack everytime :/
When in the first mission? Do you mean the first chapter or the first level? (Is it the mission with the data terminals or the mission where you need to destroy the base?) Also that combo thing is because to trigger extra combos you need to hold down run as a combo ends, so if you're triggering it each time it's because you're trying to run after a 3 hit combo. Even if you do trigger a Long Combo you can interrupt it by Blocking too.
@@DigitalArctic its the data terminals, at the third data the game is always crashing when I break a construction that I think is with the data, sending scorponox or not changes nothing, I didin't tried the autobot yet, but is the only problem I had I'm indeed, I break a construction or tanks and try to run and he does that, will try blocking to avoid, thanks for the tip Loving to see the unused voice lines
@@piratavorak Ah, then the terminals crashing is the usual crash that can happen in the vanilla game too. (Modding makes the mission just a bit more unstable, so if it didn't happen before than modding pushed it over the edge for your computer) It's avoidable by either playing in Low Detail Mode or by shooting the terminal buildings from really far away in Helicopter mode. (And I mean really far away, far enough you can't lock on to the turrets guarding the buildings. This method is slow but the most stable)
@@DigitalArctic Thanks for the fast response, I will try that, It never crashed before so I think it is happening what you said, too much to handle, will put in low detail for this part hopefully the rest of the game will be possible with high
Hi! I just download your mod and I found it incredible! I just have a question: Did you make the open world (not doing any mission) more “alive”? With more enemies to fight? I noticed that playing with Starscream or Blackout on the last city is truly a blast cause it’s full of autobots! If this is vanilla, please consider really making the open world more alive than it already is! And if what I’m experiencing is cause of the mod, congrats, you just transformed transformers The game in a truly replayable game Could you please detail if you changed something is this regard?
That was something the mod affected yes. Normally in the vanilla game, drones would only spawn in the Hub between missions in 3 levels: The Suburbs, More Than Meets The Eye (Though it was bugged here, the drones didn't spawn until a mission was played and finished.) and The Gathering Force. Since it always bothered me that Hub drones didn't spawn in any other levels, especially the City levels, I added them for the mod. While it wasn't too hard to enable for The Hunt For Sam Witwicky, as that level has unused spawn data for hub drones already, that was not the case for The Last Stand or City of The Machines. For those two levels I had to create all the Hub Drone spawn points from scratch, took a while but was worth it in the end I think.
So I've been playing the mod for a while and, I love it but it really needs rebalancing on some missions like the first mission in "Inside Hoover Dam" which was greatly infuriating as it was challenging, I think that Barricade's Flail swing is a nightmare to get past with the two elite drones that respawn, Maybe try Setting a time limit on Barricade's Flail if possible, and the final mission in the chapter is a complete pain, the knockback on Megatron's weapons combined with Barricade and Evil Bumblebee with the Energon Drones is Nightmare itself for me, And I was unable to get past The Ultimate Doom: Part 2 due to the insane amount of Elite drones there. Optimus Prime's Ai is Far Overpowered as well as Ironhides. I'd also like it If the Energon Wave that appears in the City levels heals both the player and the Enemy. Setting that aside, the inclusion of different attack combos are really well made, and I love the fact that the Enemies no longer hide behind shields when fired by a weapon, I no longer have to be a sitting duck just to wait for Megatron to come down, and I no longer feel bored with the missions as well. It's a good mod, but it's very hard.
Glad you've been enjoying the mod, but as for rebalancing that's a bit of a can of worms in it's own right, but I'll respond to what you've said as best I can. I'll preface everything below by just quickly stating that balancing is a tricky thing, right now the mod is in a weird state where it's considered too easy by some and too hard by others, with lots of people in the middle who find it fine. I've had people request the opposite of what you request, to triple the drone count in all missions and make the missions more strict in general. Not something I want to do because of people who request the opposite in those very same missions. Those mixed experiences from all the way back to the mods playtesting phase, led to the current default configuration being a middle ground between the two experiences, with not really much more that I believe can be done to change the missions themselves to make them easier for the people having trouble without further ruining the mod for people who already find the nerfed missions too easy. All in all, I believe it's a situation where I can't please everyone at once, as the matter is so subjective with the players own experience. (Though I do still plan on making more Extra Mods, and some of them will focus on reducing difficulty by disabling things I appreciate not everyone will want) Now to go over the missions you've mentioned. Most of this is going to be tips for getting through the chapters more efficiently while responding to suggested fixes. Hope you don't mind a bit of a read. (Cause there's a lot to go over here, I tried to keep it short but it still ended up being a huge message, sorry.) For Inside Hoover Dam's first chapter: the Advanced Drones that spawn, they're set to be infinite because some people don't realize how many objects there are in the hallways that can be thrown at Barricade, so the drones just have to be infinite so people always have something to throw. I did look into delaying the drone spawn rate to give more breathing room while keeping the drones infinite back during playtesting feedback though, but that sadly did not work in any capacity in any mission I tried it in. (Since there were several missions where someone suggested I try limiting the drone count) As for Barricade himself, it's not possible to limit Barricades Special Flail or put a timer on it, nor can it even be truly disabled, it's basically hardcoded into his character type. I knew that mission was unforgiving for some people after putting the mod through various playtest groups for a few months, and with no good way of easing difficulty for the players who were having difficulty with it, I decided to add checkpoints to the mission as a crutch, to hopefully minimize frustration by ensuring you don't have to replay the whole mission after every death, and giving the player the chance to get right back into the fight and improve their combat strategy. As for tips, generally I'd recommend escaping the security corridor leading to the control room as it's too tight a space with no objects to throw inside, so get out of there fast and then using ground slams on the drones, pick them up and throw them at Barricade. So long as you keep the fight out in the courtyard, you should have plenty of room to knock down and throw drones. Now the final Inside Hoover Dam Chapter, there's not really much more that can be done to nerf it, it's actually been downscaled quite a lot from what it was before playtesting; drones and bosses all have reduced health, (the Decepticon drones especially have less and less health the further into the mission you get) and there are now ways to prevent Megatron from ever even firing at you. The best strategy is to prevent Megatron from ever thawing out enough to use his cannon. While this is much easier to do in Low Detail Mode as there are 4 destructible Cooling tanks, as opposed to High Detail Modes 2, it's still possible to delay Megatron from thawing out for almost the entire mission even there, it's just a matter of timing when the cooling tanks are destroyed. You shouldn't destroy any of the tanks as soon as they're destructible, but rather, wait until Megatrons health bar is *almost* full, and then destroy a cooling tank. Megatrons health recharges in increments every 5 seconds, so it's predictable in that way. If you delay destroying the tanks as long as possible, then you won't have to worry about Megatron's arm cannon at all, or at the very least in High Detail Mode, only have to deal with it in the last 15 seconds of the mission. While Megatron is frozen, you should quickly focus on getting rid of Evil Bumblebee and Barricade, as neither has too much health and both are a serious threat. At that point, you only have to worry about the drones, and they're all fairly weak there, and frequently drop health pickups. The Ultimate Doom, that mission is also a shadow of what it used to be difficulty wise after playtesting feedback. The mission used to be far worse, the drone count has been cut down to 1\3 of what it used to be. Though it's still quite difficult now, I find it seems to be more manageable for the average player while still being one of the most difficult missions in the mod, which is what it was intended to be. (However the downside is that it became too easy for other people, which is why in that case I left a extra mod to restore the original missions difficulty, which seemed to satisfy people who found the final nerfed Ultimate Doom too easy.) Most of The Ultimate Doom difficulty comes down to how the player chooses to approach the mission however, and despite the chaotic nature of the battle, there are still ways to vastly improve the player's chances. I'd recommend watching Barricade24's guide to the mission, as it goes through the most optimal strategy for the mission better than I could write here in text. (Though this reply is already too long lol) ruclips.net/video/U88Q3SdD_a0/видео.html Now, Ironhides boss ai. He's designed to be one of the most dangerous bosses, one that is quite deadly at range, but in truth he's actually a bit of a pushover in close range combat. Best thing you can do is get close as you can as fast as you can to minimize ranged damage taken, then spam melee without performing a full 3 hit combo. That 3 hit combo will generally knock him back, which leads to him shooting you at range, so avoid that. Instead, press melee once, to perform one strike, then wait a moment so you can repeat that exact same 1st combo animation without leading into the 2nd and 3rd combo animations. That way you can strike him infinitely without knocking him back, which will drain his health bar and make him incapable of fighting back. Optimus Prime is designed to have the most effective Boss AI in the mod, so he's not meant to be easy, but the important thing to keep in mind when fighting him is how his counter attacks work, as they are the most dangerous thing he uses. Usually, Optimus performs a counterattack after being struck by melee twice, so avoid doing a full 3 hit combo, and try to get into the habit of blocking to interrupt your own combo early, which if done early enough, will let you block Optimus Primes counter attack as well. (Just keep in mind if you block too late, Optimus will bypass your blocking ability and hit you anyway.) Megatrons ranged weapons are good at stunning enemies as well, while Optimus sometimes blocks ranged projectiles, they still work against him, so be sure to take advantage of Megatrons secondary weapon to stun Optimus, preventing him from using his ranged weapons and also giving you a extra second or two to move in combat, which can make all the difference. Lastly, Energon Waves. After playtesting, I believe it would be too unbalanced in the opposite way to make the Energon Waves heal the player, it would ensure tougher players would never even have a chance of dying, removing all intended challenge from the missions involved. (Those are also generally missions that I've had requests to increase difficulty in, which I won't do because I know there are also people who find them too difficult.) But yeah, that's everything, I hope the tips in this reply help make your experience with these missions a bit better.
@@DigitalArctic So I just tried all the strategies you told me, and so far, it's been a nice playthrough, the difficulty in "Inside Hoover Dam" right now just got a little easy after I utilized Ground Slams and so far I have little to no trouble with the Elite Drones, and Barricade's a piece of cake for me after getting out of the security corridor, not only that, in "The Ultimate Doom" I decided to prioritize the Drones rather than Megatron, And it's a walk in the park, the only thing I have the difficulty with is Part 4, which, was quite easy for the most part, his knockback still quite hurt but not as much as before since I now utilize falling down the rooftops as part of my strategies and fire at him whenever he gets to a rooftop, the only thing I'd love to have is the healing pickups to spawn in the rooftops where you fight him in, which switch places as soon as Megatron transforms into robot mode, if possible so it lowers the difficulty a tad bit whilst still being challenging, and as for the "Day of The Machines", I can now fight Optimus head on instead of being stuck in a tight space with little to no breathing room. So for now the only thing I'd like to suggest is nerfing the Energon wave to only heal like a part of the Enemies health instead of full health, since it's quite hard to get health pickups from the drones that spawn, overall, it's far more easy to the point I plan on doing no death runs but so far I still die quite a few times. For Ironhide I can defeat him pretty easily, Either way, I love it even more now. Thanks for the tips as well for this amazing mod.
@@jedmarclarce7038 Glad to hear the tips helped! I quite like the idea of adding health pickups to the rooftops, but sadly I don't think it's possible, there's no programmed module in the game that controls where health pickups spawn in the world, that's controlled by spline data, which is unique to each level and can't be changed for now. As for the Energon Wave healing enemies partially and not fully, I like that idea too, but due to how the AI Energon Wave command works in the scripts, it just wouldn't be possible. (It's a separate function from when Ratchet heals the player, that can be set to increase *Player* health by a percentage. Where as the AI version sets health to a specific number, so if it were set to heal to 80% health, then if they had more health than that, they would actually *lose* health to reach that set number. So the AI version only really works when set to completely refill Drone\Boss health.)
@@DigitalArctic aw dang, nevermind then, only the things that I feel would benefit the mod are some more combos, as well as some hard to input special combos that use the special animations that's given to each ai like Ironhide's Shoot like a mad man at the end of said combo, which has some downside like, said animation will end if the player presses the Attack button again, (or any button at all) that will play the idle animation for a second, if possible tho. Ironhide and Jazz joining in the fight against Shockwave as an ally AI, as well as him appearing in The final mission of "Inside Hoover Dam" by using his Charge special if possible, and like, the thing they did with the health in the ROTF game where the health regens, granted there are no enemies attacking. But it adds a 5% buff to the damage the enemies deal to the character, as a downside. And adding the shockwave ability to bumblebee by holding the attack button, however the charge-up is a tad longer, and the shockwave deals lesser damage as well as less range if possible.
Well, you'd mainly want to edit the VehicleSkins.cfg of a Primary level. (I say Primary, because there are Secondary levels that don't have that cfg, and instead borrow data from a Primary Levels vehicleskins.cfg. An example of this is BarricadeTranquility, it's a Secondary level that takes data from Tranquility2, a Primary level.) Anyway, Vehicleskins.cfg loads all of the various wheel models for characters, so you can change them around as you want there. (Just keep in mind you can use any object model that's loaded in that level for wheels, but that model has to be stored in that levels gsc file. If it's not stored there, then nothing will load.)
Hi. I know this might sound strange. But have you ever found any unused voice files in the game that contained swearing? A couple years ago when HooverExt modding was in it's prime someone started a rumor that they heard a strange Optimus voice outtake of some kind. Along with one of the developers swearing or something. It was allegedly in the PS3 Iso version of TFTG. I'm not sure how true it is myself, so I wouldn't want to stress you by scouring every sound file in the game.
I've already been through the PS3 versions audio files actually. Lots of unique audio that isn't on PC, but nothing like what you describe. (Unless it wasn't in English, as I only checked the English voice lines, could've been something strange for the other languages.)
@@DigitalArctic It might have been Italian. I checked the cutting room floor website to see if it was discovered, but the only thing I found related was that apparently one of the developers was pissed that Bumblebee didn't have a voice box in the movie and that was it.
@@bumble-beo6754 That sounds like the "Bumblebee doesn't have a voicebox stoopid" line leftover in one of the cfgs. It's right next to the loaded grunt sfx which were disabled for Bumblebe
you need to reduce the amount of damage you take during the fight against Iron Hide as Blackout,I had to use the infinite life trick so that I wouldn't stop receiving bukakes from the Minions' area attacks,Plus random attacks that take a ton of life and you don't even know where they're coming from plus: Everything mentioned and the Autobot crane 💀
Computer Hardware specific crash is the main reason unfortunately. That mission is horribly unstable in the base game without any mods, but modding can make it more unstable for some people. If the game crashes when you destroy a building, then try either playing in Low Detail Mode or shooting the buildings from really, REALLY far away in heli mode. That will make the crash less likely to occur. If the game is crashing after throwing the second terminal, then you have a worse version of this computer hardware specific issue, and need to install this extra mod to remove 2.0 modifications from that mission, as that's the only way to improve stability at that point. drive.google.com/file/d/1BjdaG3t3Pz7jbnyZzzl6KHjjT541YuxJ/view?usp=sharing
ey arctic question ive been aching to try this mod since ive first heard of it but i dont know were to download a copy of transformers the game so were did you get yours? (also quick idea you could name the red evil bumblebee "old stinger")
My copy of the game is a disc copy I got way back around 2008 that I've kept all these years later. Because of that I've never had to go looking for online copies, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. (Try asking around though, I know lots of people get the game online somewhere. When you do find a copy I recommend checking out that mod install tutorial vid I posted.) Also I'd prefer to keep Evil Bumblebee's name the way it is, since that's his name in the files. (I do think Stinger is a very fitting name, I even used to call him that, but I just decided in the end that I should call him what the game calls him, as that would be more true to what he is.)
bro the mod is amazing! Will you add the option of being able to play the main missions with the other characters? Or do you not have that option planned
It's something I've thought about, but haven't done yet because it would actually be pretty complicated to implement in a working manner for all levels. (Though I will certainly try at some point.)
Story reasons, Blackout (and by extension Scorponok) were nowhere near the Airbase during that level, they were on their way to Hoover Dam. That kind of story reasoning is also what restricted character select in other levels. I do intend on making a separate version of Character Select that has no restrictions one day though.
Theres this bug with *most* land vehicles where when theyre destroyed, their explosion state wont start and instead they'll be smoking permanently and you take damage if you get too close. Because of this, the first scorponok mission is impossible to complete (the one where u have to destroy 5 communication tanks). This bug is present in the base game for me as well so i dont think its a mod issue, but i cant seem to find any information about it. Do you know a fix?
That's a high frame rate issue the PC version has, I mentioned it in my recent FPS Glitches video. (The gist of it is, the game was designed to run at 30 fps, they uncapped the fps on the PC Port and didn't adjust any of the game physics accordingly.) ruclips.net/video/hIpN1UMoFKo/видео.html
Bro can you help me download the base game? I didn't buy it and now i need to download it from some website.... Can you help me link the website to download the full game? Please digital arctic i wanna use your mods and relive the nostalgia 😭
I'm sorry, but I really don't know which site to recommend, as my copy of the game is an old physical copy I got back in 2008, so I never had to go looking online for it. I can recommend that you keep asking around the modding community though, as most people I've met on here got the game online since it is abandonware and not very easy to hunt down a physical copy for anymore. So someone will surely be able to point you in the right direction there. Something else to keep in mind for if you do find a copy online, is that I'm also aware most online copies of the game are missing files. Since the files missing are quite consistent, I actually linked commonly missing files in my mod install tutorial video, so if you do get a copy and are missing dialogue or cutscenes, that video's set of download links will have the files you'd be missing.
the mod is very cool so far, I have an issue in the first decepticon level, with the second mission, where if I pick up the data boxes after destroying a base, it crashes the game.
That's a worse version of a computer specific issue the base game has, which can be made worse through modding. Since this is a worse version of said issue, the only way to fix it should be to install this version of the mission, which removes all mod changes. It's unfortunate but the only way to improve stability for the mission on your PC. drive.google.com/file/d/1BjdaG3t3Pz7jbnyZzzl6KHjjT541YuxJ/view?usp=sharing
Not yet I'm afraid. The 2.0 Mod is still PC Exclusive. Though out of all console versions, the Wii version has the best mod support, so porting 2.0 to Wii is a lot more feasible than porting the mod to say the PS3 version. I just can't work on porting it since my PC died a while back. There are mods you can play on the Wii version though, such as Hoover Dam Edition. It's a modded stand alone version of the game with only the unused levels HooverExt and HooverDam loaded. Those levels aren't leftover outside the Wii and PS3 versions, and thus can't be played on PC. Between these two versions Hoover Dam Edition works best on Wii, as the PS3 version has a lot of modding limitations. Most Wii\PS3 TF Mods are best run on emulator, but should mostly work on real hardware as well save for a couple missions.
If you are able to, please help me. I'm playing your mod, and I’m currently in the SOCCENT Military Base during the first mission, Chapter 1. The Sandstorm mission worked well, but I started encountering major issues with the second mission where you play as Scorponok. The turrets, when they are destroyed, begin to infinitely explode. The same issue occurs with the mobile communications vehicles and sometimes the dune buggies as well. This was almost game-breaking, but I found a workaround by pushing the communication vehicles into the infinitely exploding turrets. Somehow, this destroys the vehicles, so I managed to do that in time and completed the mission. I hoped that glitch wouldn’t happen again, but in the third mission as Blackout, I encountered another issue. While destroying the buildings and collecting the green boxes, the first box never causes problems, but the game always crashes on the second one. The first time I played, it actually crashed on the third box, but since then, it always crashes on the second. I think it might be triggered by the building explosions. The infinitely exploding turrets also seem to be present again. I’ve tried playing as both Shockwave and Blackout, but the crashes happen regardless of the character, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’m absolutely stuck and really hope you can help me. Your mod is very impressive, and I’m thankful for the work you’ve put into it!
It's a very common high Frame Rate issue on the PC Version. They didn't optimize the game for higher frame rates so lots of issues (some gamebreaking and some not) can happen because of it. You need to manually cap the games fps to run at a lower frame rate. (30fps is the intended frame rate for the game.) I'd recommend a program like RivaTuner Statistics Server, but really any program capable of forcing a fps cap will do.
@@DigitalArctic I'm sorry to bother you again, but I've encountered another issue in the mission Gathering Force, where you have to shoot down the planes to scan their wreckage. The problem is that the planes are invisible except for their exhaust flames. I'm wondering if you could help me with this, as the mission is impossible to complete because of it.
@@aidansibley2229 That's new, not sure what would have caused that, but it sounds like the models are missing somehow. Easiest way around it I can recommend is to temporarily place the original Transformers_Lo.Dat back in the game folder and play that chapter in the vanilla game. (Due to how the vanilla game is, you'll technically have to play Chapter 3 and then Chapter 2) A Gathering Force is pretty scuffed on Vanilla PC, but this should ensure the jets load at least.
@DigitalArctic Yes, that was a great idea because that's what I did essentially. I managed to fix everything much afterward by enabling high resolution. I thought I did that all the way back at the start of the game, but that's when the original framerate issues were happening and it crashed, so it makes sense that it didn't save my options. Thank you for being so helpful. I greatly appreciate it. Take care!
Most of the Bonus Content in this game has always just been unlockable extras to view in the Bonus Gallery. They've got some trailers for the movie, and the intros to the Unicron trilogy shows there. Plus a whole bunch of bonus images, showing toys, character bios for all characters in the game, (including Frenzy) movie screeenshots, comic covers and wireframes. Interesting to look at, but not super special. The Bonus Skins are definitely better rewards, but most of them are rewarded just for clearing the campaign. The 2.0 Mod does change Robovision Prime to use an alternate Gunarm and adds unused character bios to the bonus gallery, but other than that it doesn't change much there.
this mod is amazing, I've been playing this game since I'm 7 years old until today when I'm 19 and I know the game backwards and forwards, and it had never cost me so much to pass certain missions, I started with the Decepticons campaign and I'm on the mission of blackout vs ironhide, I have literally tried it more than 10 times and I can not pass it after the drones are healed and suddenly my life drops drastically and I die, I don't even know what kills me, I loved the mod, but Could you give me some advice for the mission? Thanks for making the mod and all the work behind it.
If your life is dropping rapidly, someone may be shooting at you. Drone Ranged weapons are more powerful now, so in the case of Truck Drone, you should shoot them from a distance with Blackouts Secondary, and for Cement Mixer Drones, you should avoid them if you can while dealing with TowTruck drones and the like. The Drones are healed by Ratchet, who is hiding in the general area, if you can find him you can stop him from healing other drones.
@@DigitalArctic thank you very much for the answer, tomorrow I will continue trying because today I played for hours, the fact that you added ratchet and that he could heal the characters seemed incredible to me, when I saw him in the barricade vs jazz mission he took me totally off guard and I didn't I could believe, I love your mod, it's amazing, greetings.
Can you make a tutorial of how to get the 3D models of the game? like extracting them? I've always been curious about exploring the map in blender or any 3D asset from the game or characters etc
I would but I'm afraid that is one thing I'm not as familiar with at the moment. (Though that may change in future.) I do know it's possible to extract character models through various methods, but extracting the maps themselves hasn't been successfully done by anyone yet. I'd recommend asking Barricade24, 7otalBlackou7 or RAVE13Z about this, as they have more experience experimenting with extracted character models than I currently do.
To play as Evil Bumblebee, you have to complete all 4 main chapters of either SOCCENT Military Base or The Hunt for Sam Witwicky. After completing all 4 chapters, you will unlock character select in those levels, and Evil Bumblebee is one of the choices for them. (Character select will be marked with a unique faction icon on the mini map)
I'm having problems with the first mission of the second area of the Decepticon campaign, somehow, I avoided the crash of the mission of the data boxes .After beating the Autobots in the suburbs, I get a loading screen and suddenly it crashes.
That's... Very unusual. Well, I can't really help fix it without my PC, but if it's crashing after the chapter is completed, then you might be able to continue playing the game unimpeded anyway, since the game saves before unloading mission data. If it crashed during the chapter itself, then your best course of action should be finding Transformers_lo.dat and placing it back in the game folder. That will force the game to load the vanilla game data as long as lo.dat is in that folder, allowing you to play the vanilla version of that mission. Then once the mission has been completed, remove lo.dat so the game returns to reading the modded 2.0 files. Save data is unaffected by modding, so the game will remember that you beat the chapter, allowing you to progress. For additional info, there are only two causes for the crash I can think of, one is computer specific instability, (which means that for some reason your specific computer had issues with the background processes of that mission. Though the game crashing in that mission due to this hasn't been reported before, these kinds of issues are always exceptional cases sadly) or mis-installed mod data. (If this was the case, you'd likely see crashing in other missions that load new drone variants. Should just be a simple matter of re-installing the 2.0 Mods various CHARS folders, but I'd only try this if you experience similar crashes when drones spawn in other levels.)
@@DigitalArctic hello! thanks for answering From what I see the crashes have to do: With the language To fix the Blackout crash, change the name of the dialog folder from USA to SPA (which is the language my game is translated to). And in this case, what it did was change it back to USA, which seems to have solved the problem. Curiously, in SPA the dialogues are available but not in the USA or in ENG, perhaps all this problem is due to incompatibility with the language of the files vs the translation of the game
@@victormnuel179 Interesting. Language shouldn't affect the stability of the game. The game has problems on certain PC's loading too many speech modules (which play dialogue) but I've never heard switching to a different language improving that. But yeah, while the mod was made with English first, it was translated into Spanish by a friend of mine. I also used Google Translate to add translations for ITA,FRE and GER, (the other main languages the game supports) but I imagine those came out pretty rough without someone to help proofread them.
Not at the moment. The mod would have to be tailor made for the PS3 version and not PC for that to work. (Even then, modding the PS3 version is so unstable most of this mods features would have to be removed for the game to even continue functioning on that version.)
I was going to change the music volume manually, but that increased the file size by entire GB and I didn't want to make the Mod Download too big. I did do something else though, which is I increased the volume of all sfx and audio to be closer to console, which in turn balances the audio a bit more.
Well, assuming you've already extracted lo.dat with Quickbms, what you'd want to do is open the LEVELS folder, then go to the level of your choice. (Which is obviously QATAR lol) Inside, you'd want to open Creatures.cfg with a text editor. (Notepad works) You'll see it loads the cfg files for characters and drones, you'll want to add your new character in this file by loading their cfg files. (You can reference other levels creatures.cfgs that already load that character) With that done, you can open up the AI folder, which contains all of the scps for the missions in the level. You can edit any instance of "#PlayerType=___" to make the game load your character instead of the default ones. (Again, use a text editor to edit scp files. You can also press ctrl and F to open a find program inside text editing programs. You can use that to easily find specific words in the file) That's for playing characters anyway. Adding enemies\allies is a bit different. You can try checking out the Sumo Sub-Mission scp, copying the modules used to load drones, then pasting that somewhere else. You'd have to change the "#type=___" to the character you want of course. But when doing that, you have to add SendToModule "#General" "#LoadCreature=___" to load the creature you want to add into the game engine. They won't spawn even with the copied module otherwise. You can repeat this process for allies, only you'd want to add "#Friend" at the end of their module command line.
@@DigitalArctic Regarding Sumo Submission, I was testing it, and I did exactly what you said, I used the spawn of the drones as a base to Put blackout or Scorponok in place of the drones, Thanks.
@@whirl177 You have to load a file into a level by adding a specific dialogue file to that levels section inside music.cfg. (Which is in the audio folder) Then you need to go to Speech.ini inside LEVELS for the level you want to add dialogue to, and add your dialogue there too. Speech.ini will also let you control which com icon pops up. After that you need to add a Speech module to the state of your choice (depending on when you want it to play that is) inside a scp in AI. (Lot's of existing Speech Modules in the scps, so hunt one down and repurpose it to suit your needs elsewhere. Same goes with adding stuff to Speech.ini or Music.cfg)
Bro why i cant play soccent military base? i always crash in that level when i play 2nd mission where blackout is destroying some kind of internet or signal thingy?
That's an issue in the base game on certain computers which is made worse through modding, really that mission has always been super unstable. If it crashes when destroying buildings, then try shooting the buildings from REALLY far away in helicopter mode. Takes longer but is more stable. You can also try playing in low detail mode, that helps that mission. However if the game is crashing after picking up the data terminals, then you are experiencing greater instability in that mission tied to your computer hardware, which prevents the mod from running as intended. In that case, check out 2.0 Extras and install the Extra mod that improves Stability in Qatar by removing all 2.0 mod changes from the mission, at which point you'll likely still have to play the game in the above-mentioned ways to lower your risk of crashing.
That's an issue in the vanilla game on certain computers that's made worse with mods. There is no way to fix it, only tricks to avoid it. If it's crashing when destroying buildings, shoot those buildings from far away in helicopter mode. If it's crashing when picking up data terminals, try capping your PC's Frame Rate using Rivatuner Statistics server. If that doesn't help, your computer is not capable of running that mission with mods, at which point you should open the TF 2.0 Extras folder and install the D1C2 Crash reduction mods, those will remove 2.0 Changes from that mission.
I'd like to use it but i get black screen on the second mission of the autobot campaign.. once cinematic is done, the screen's all black and i can't play
Second Mission, do you mean the second level with Jazz? Or the second mission in the first level? (Crashing here doesn't make much sense, but with the Jazz scenario I'd assume some files are missing)
when im playing with blackout in the second mission, the game crashes while trying to recover the data bases and i dont know why. Do you have any solutions?
Common computer specific issue. The PC Port is unstable in Qatar, and this can be worse on certain computers for unknown reasons. Since modding makes things worse in these cases, I included an Extra Mod to revert those missions to their vanilla state to (hopefully) reduce Crashing. (It's not a guaranteed fix because the vanilla game can also crash there, but it should make the crash less common) Check and install the Reduce Crashing in D1C2 mod from the 2.0 Extras folder.
Afraid not. Don't see it being possible to fix any time soon either. It happens because Evil Bumblebee can only load using another character type, and the only one that fits him best in the 2.0 mod is Brawl. (As Brawl is basically a blank slate with no complications.) The only downside is no wheels, but that's a small price to pay compared to using literally any other character type. (The results are way buggier\cumbersome when using other character types)
Is there a way that you can fix the sensitivity of flight mode? It's a nightmare to play that one especially the Blackout and Starcream missions Fireworks it's a F*cking nightmare to finish
That is a fundamental issue with keyboard and mouse controls sadly. This game really wasn't optimized for PC very well at all. When I play with keyboard and mouse, I make flight mode control differently than everything else, by mapping movement to the keys and removing all mouse related input. It's still too sensitive, but it's *slightly* better than trying to control it with a mouse. You can also try lowering camera sensitivity in the options menu, but that only goes so far. I've also found it's slightly better when the frame rate is capped to 30. It's still a disaster with all that though, fundamentally the answer is to play the game with a controller, the way it was made to be played. With a controller, flight mode is highly responsive and easy to control, turning missions that were hard on keyboard and mouse into some of the easiest missions in the game.
Played through the Autobots campaign and loved it, you've done a great job! Unfortunately I'm having random unavoidable crashes in the very first Decepticon mission, where you destroy the military base. I've tried switching to low detail mode and using the extra mod files to prevent crashing in the airbase but it didn't help at all. Any ideas?
Interesting. Well, you can try keeping your distance from the objects you need to destroy in chapters that are prone to crashing, as I've heard that has been somewhat more stable for some people. One of the chapters in Qatar is just unstable by default even without mods, where the game crashes when destroying terminal buildings, best way to avoid that is to again keep your distance and shoot the buildings. Outside of that though, in the other missions there's not as much that can be done, especially if you've already installed the extra mods that improve stability in those levels. This is a longshot but maybe try playing in a lower screen resolution with all graphical options disabled, (And playing in Low Detail Mode again, basically playing the game at the lowest possible settings) that could help. Absolute worst case scenario? Put your original lo.dat file back in your game folder, play the vanilla version of that chapter, wait for the game to save, and then remove lo.dat again to play with the 2.0 mod again. While the base game can also be highly unstable and prone to crashing, you'll have a far better chance of beating those chapters there than with mods, and this way you can at least progress the game.
@@DigitalArctic I was playing in 4K capped at 60 fps so that absolutely could have contributed, regardless of high or low detail settings. I experienced no crashing anywhere else in the game - including the terminal buildings. Genuinely just that first mission where Blackout is destroying the base was unstable for me. I found that for whatever reason, destroying the jets seemed to cause the crash? So I avoided them entirely and managed to get through it. Thank you for your help though! Fantastic mod.
i'm curious, how did you add new sound fx such as ratchet's transformation sound to the game? i tried to add some new sound but on the audio_ng but it crashes my game
The truth is that you can't. You can't open the cfgs and add any brand new data without corrupting the cfg. All of the files referenced by the audio(/audio_ng) cfg need to have programming behind them for the cfg to load them at all. In The 2.0 Mod there were a few unused sfx I was able to "add" yes, but only by repurposing existing unused data that happened to still be programmed into the game. (Even then I could only do it a couple of times, because most unused files listed but not loaded by the cfg weren't coded in and were invalid.)
@@DigitalArctic owhh i see . do you have any software suggestion for editing these cfg files? i tried to add a death sound for some characters but they were by default using optimus_die and bee_die sample. none of them were specific
@@hello.theree_ I used Notepad++ to edit cfgs, but really any text viewer could do the job. As for death sounds, adding character specific sounds could be tricky, It would honestly be easier to replace the vanilla sfx altogether.
Any Windows copy of the PC version should work, though you may need to get a cracked exe to remove drm if the copy you get uses SafeDisk. Modern Windows doesn't recognize that drm, it will prevent the game from starting. (It's very Ironic that a anti piracy program now encourages getting cracked exes just to make the game start)
Only Hoover Dam Edition is meant to be used on Emulator (Dolphin or RPCS3 depending on which version) and that is more of a stand alone game than anything. (As it doesn't need to be installed into the main game and is started independently as if it were a separate game) The rest of the mods on my channel including 2.0 are for the PC Version of the game and do not require Emulation. (Hoover Dam Edition was only made for Wii and PS3 because they feature an unused level whose data was only leftover on those versions, and since the format is unique it couldn't be ported to the PC Version)
Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of the PC version? I feel like I've looked on every website and the only one I could find is on eBay for $100. If anyone knows where to buy a digital copy please let me know
Most of it was unused data already in the game, but there were cases where I had to manually add new spawn points. (Which I usually did with custom coordinates and teleport commands, as I couldn't add new data to spline.Dat)
Hey digital, i was playing inside the hoover dam chapter 4, i was playing in low res because of FPS, when megatron was awakening the gui was making graphical errors, do you know why does this happen?
I have an idea on why it could happen because of how the mission is designed, though it still shouldn't have happened. While you don't have to replay the whole mission or anything, I am curious, does it happen consistently every time you play, or has it only happened once?
@@DigitalArctic when the first time i played the mod, i was playing it in high res, nothing happened, but answering your question,no, it just happened today
Yo bro, i'm making the campaing of the Deception but when i'm on the First Chapter at the second mission when i'm going to destroy the 3 place to get the data my game just crash, is there any fix for this?
If it's crashing when destroying the buildings with the terminals, then you're suffering from a crash that can happen in the vanilla game, but becomes slightly more frequent with modding. Fortunately there are ways to work around that, one is by playing in Low Detail Mode, second is by shooting the buildings from really, really far away in helicopter mode. (So far away you can't even lock on to the turrets on the ground) Either of these methods will make crashes less likely to occur.
@@geovannedabomba If it's still a crash when destroying buildings, then you just need to keep trying with the above mentioned methods. It should work eventually. However if it crashes after picking up or throwing a terminal, that's something different.
Probably the game having one it's stupid regional errors. Try opening the audio folder, opening the _Dialogue folder and renaming USA to ENG. (Or if your game is not in English, try SPA, FRE, ITA or GER.) Keep in mind if you want to play the 2.0 Mod, that you'll have to reinstall the mods dialogue folder changes afterwards.
Ok I will try that and 1 more problem occurred today, my game crashes when I am playing the Blackout level chapter 2 when picking up the 2nd generator. Anyhow really appreciated what you have done, this is one my fav game which I have been playing since childhood. Thank you for making it more challenging and awesome.
@@ryanroy6597 Sadly that's a computer specific issue the base game has, that can be made worse through modding the mission. You'll have to install this which disables all mod changes to that mission in order to improve stability in that mission on your PC. (It's the worst mission in the game by far stability wise, it's a pain when it happens in the vanilla game, and since it's dependent on computer hardware there's no true fix for it, only ways to improve stability.) drive.google.com/file/d/1BjdaG3t3Pz7jbnyZzzl6KHjjT541YuxJ/view?usp=sharing
I don't know where you can get the Wii version these days, aside from a rare physical copy on Amazon. (Also sadly this mod isn't currently compatible with the Wii version, it's meant for the PC version.)
Nice to see folks still enjoy this mod! Another update will come eventually, but if we're talking a more overhauled version of the mod... not sure. Maybe.
The Debug Menu is meant to be loaded during gameplay, but the best method we have right now is loading it on the main menu. As such, certain options don't work properly such as the disable Hud option which is supposed to be enabled when you're already in a level. (When it's done through the menu, levels fail to "fade into gameplay" properly, since that's also part of the Hud for some reason)
Here we go!!
Oh hello... am big fan
The biggest mod of this game is finally out, even after a long time I'm still hyped by this
In my opinion it was worth the 1 year wait it literally has everything
YAY!!! the real true Transformers the game is finally hear!!!
oh how ive waited for this... its going to be glorious!!! :D
This brings me back to the days when this game first started having mod support. Can’t believe it’s been so long
if any game deserved a remaster, It's this bad boy right here. I would buy it on the spot. OHHHHHH The nostalgia
Just make sure Rockstar/Grove Street Games gets nowhere near this masterpiece.
lets goo!
Good luck to everyone. This mod is truly a challenge.

Then reinstall the fmv folder from TF_2.0 Main Files.

Yes dude! I can't wait to see gameplay of this!
Cant wait to play this!
Now we wait, for the walkthroughs on RUclips, or simply download the game to play it yourself.

Moders are heroes

No, you need to input movement while returning to the idle animation. Not after you reach the idle animation, while you're returning to it.
Esse mod ta muito perfeito, queria ter um pc pra jogar, ou que ele fosse adaptado naturalmente pro ps2 um dia kkkkk
Amazing mod, i loved it
my game crashes at the same spot every time, in the first decepticon mission, and when I finish a 3 hit combo and tries do move he uses the dash attack everytime :/
When in the first mission? Do you mean the first chapter or the first level? (Is it the mission with the data terminals or the mission where you need to destroy the base?)
Also that combo thing is because to trigger extra combos you need to hold down run as a combo ends, so if you're triggering it each time it's because you're trying to run after a 3 hit combo. Even if you do trigger a Long Combo you can interrupt it by Blocking too.
@@DigitalArctic its the data terminals, at the third data the game is always crashing when I break a construction that I think is with the data, sending scorponox or not changes nothing, I didin't tried the autobot yet, but is the only problem I had

@@piratavorak Ah, then the terminals crashing is the usual crash that can happen in the vanilla game too. (Modding makes the mission just a bit more unstable, so if it didn't happen before than modding pushed it over the edge for your computer)
It's avoidable by either playing in Low Detail Mode or by shooting the terminal buildings from really far away in Helicopter mode. (And I mean really far away, far enough you can't lock on to the turrets guarding the buildings. This method is slow but the most stable)

Hi! I just download your mod and I found it incredible!
I just have a question:
Did you make the open world (not doing any mission) more “alive”? With more enemies to fight?
I noticed that playing with Starscream or Blackout on the last city is truly a blast cause it’s full of autobots! If this is vanilla, please consider really making the open world more alive than it already is!
And if what I’m experiencing is cause of the mod, congrats, you just transformed transformers The game in a truly replayable game
Could you please detail if you changed something is this regard?
@@DigitalArctic Thats exactly the answer I wanted to hear! Thanks for taking your time to answer, and WONDERFUL job on the mod, seriously
LETS GOOOOOOO
(Though I do still plan on making more Extra Mods, and some of them will focus on reducing difficulty by disabling things I appreciate not everyone will want)
Now to go over the missions you've mentioned.
Most of this is going to be tips for getting through the chapters more efficiently while responding to suggested fixes. Hope you don't mind a bit of a read. (Cause there's a lot to go over here, I tried to keep it short but it still ended up being a huge message, sorry.)
For Inside Hoover Dam's first chapter: the Advanced Drones that spawn, they're set to be infinite because some people don't realize how many objects there are in the hallways that can be thrown at Barricade, so the drones just have to be infinite so people always have something to throw.
I did look into delaying the drone spawn rate to give more breathing room while keeping the drones infinite back during playtesting feedback though, but that sadly did not work in any capacity in any mission I tried it in. (Since there were several missions where someone suggested I try limiting the drone count)
As for Barricade himself, it's not possible to limit Barricades Special Flail or put a timer on it, nor can it even be truly disabled, it's basically hardcoded into his character type.
(However the downside is that it became too easy for other people, which is why in that case I left a extra mod to restore the original missions difficulty, which seemed to satisfy people who found the final nerfed Ultimate Doom too easy.)
Most of The Ultimate Doom difficulty comes down to how the player chooses to approach the mission however, and despite the chaotic nature of the battle, there are still ways to vastly improve the player's chances. I'd recommend watching Barricade24's guide to the mission, as it goes through the most optimal strategy for the mission better than I could write here in text. (Though this reply is already too long lol) ruclips.net/video/U88Q3SdD_a0/видео.html
Now, Ironhides boss ai.
(Just keep in mind if you block too late, Optimus will bypass your blocking ability and hit you anyway.)
Megatrons ranged weapons are good at stunning enemies as well, while Optimus sometimes blocks ranged projectiles, they still work against him, so be sure to take advantage of Megatrons secondary weapon to stun Optimus, preventing him from using his ranged weapons and also giving you a extra second or two to move in combat, which can make all the difference.
Lastly, Energon Waves. After playtesting, I believe it would be too unbalanced in the opposite way to make the Energon Waves heal the player, it would ensure tougher players would never even have a chance of dying, removing all intended challenge from the missions involved. (Those are also generally missions that I've had requests to increase difficulty in, which I won't do because I know there are also people who find them too difficult.)
But yeah, that's everything, I hope the tips in this reply help make your experience with these missions a bit better.
Hey man i got a question. How do you replace tires from other characters?
Btw love your mod
Well, you'd mainly want to edit the VehicleSkins.cfg of a Primary level. (I say Primary, because there are Secondary levels that don't have that cfg, and instead borrow data from a Primary Levels vehicleskins.cfg. An example of this is BarricadeTranquility, it's a Secondary level that takes data from Tranquility2, a Primary level.)
Anyway, Vehicleskins.cfg loads all of the various wheel models for characters, so you can change them around as you want there. (Just keep in mind you can use any object model that's loaded in that level for wheels, but that model has to be stored in that levels gsc file. If it's not stored there, then nothing will load.)
@@DigitalArctic aight thx man
It's right next to the loaded grunt sfx which were disabled for Bumblebe
you need to reduce the amount of damage you take during the fight against Iron Hide as Blackout,I had to use the infinite life trick so that I wouldn't stop receiving bukakes from the Minions' area attacks,Plus random attacks that take a ton of life and you don't even know where they're coming from
plus: Everything mentioned and the Autobot crane 💀
I have a question. In one of the missions of blackout where you destroy these green box thingies, why does my game crash after the second box?
Computer Hardware specific crash is the main reason unfortunately. That mission is horribly unstable in the base game without any mods, but modding can make it more unstable for some people.
If the game crashes when you destroy a building, then try either playing in Low Detail Mode or shooting the buildings from really, REALLY far away in heli mode. That will make the crash less likely to occur.
If the game is crashing after throwing the second terminal, then you have a worse version of this computer hardware specific issue, and need to install this extra mod to remove 2.0 modifications from that mission, as that's the only way to improve stability at that point.

ey arctic question ive been aching to try this mod since ive first heard of it but i dont know were to download a copy of transformers the game so were did you get yours? (also quick idea you could name the red evil bumblebee "old stinger")
My copy of the game is a disc copy I got way back around 2008 that I've kept all these years later. Because of that I've never had to go looking for online copies, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. (Try asking around though, I know lots of people get the game online somewhere. When you do find a copy I recommend checking out that mod install tutorial vid I posted.)
Also I'd prefer to keep Evil Bumblebee's name the way it is, since that's his name in the files. (I do think Stinger is a very fitting name, I even used to call him that, but I just decided in the end that I should call him what the game calls him, as that would be more true to what he is.)
@@DigitalArctic alright thanks ill keep looking and i got ya but i can tell that's what most are going to call him

bro the mod is amazing! Will you add the option of being able to play the main missions with the other characters? Or do you not have that option planned
It's something I've thought about, but haven't done yet because it would actually be pretty complicated to implement in a working manner for all levels. (Though I will certainly try at some point.)
maaan i wish if this mod was released to the PS2 has well....
I have a question, why you can't play airbase with blackout? seriously why?this level really fits blackout
Also scorponok would work as well
Story reasons, Blackout (and by extension Scorponok) were nowhere near the Airbase during that level, they were on their way to Hoover Dam.
(The gist of it is, the game was designed to run at 30 fps, they uncapped the fps on the PC Port and didn't adjust any of the game physics accordingly.)

@@DigitalArctic Oh ty so much, i was wondering why slowmo segments ran at hyperspeed
@@DigitalArctic thank you for the answer mate i will try to find it elsewhere ❤️
the mod is very cool so far, I have an issue in the first decepticon level, with the second mission, where if I pick up the data boxes after destroying a base, it crashes the game.
That's a worse version of a computer specific issue the base game has, which can be made worse through modding.
Since this is a worse version of said issue, the only way to fix it should be to install this version of the mission, which removes all mod changes. It's unfortunate but the only way to improve stability for the mission on your PC.

@@DigitalArctic thanks for the help, sucks but I guess the base game can't really be fixed.
This mod is available for the Wii version, right? I really want to go back to the old days when I was obsessed with this game as a kid...
@@DigitalArctic Alright, thanks for the info! I'll be looking forward to when you can make a Wii version of 2.0. Good luck!
Great buddy !
Lets roll
(30fps is the intended frame rate for the game.)
I'd recommend a program like RivaTuner Statistics Server, but really any program capable of forcing a fps cap will do.
@DigitalArctic thank you very much! I greatly appreciate it!!
Take care!
There should be a way to make blackout’s blast radius more powerful
I'm assuming there's way more bonus content if sub-missions gives you bonus content upon completion.
@@DigitalArctic Thanks, i would love to get into the files of the 3D Models from the game
Hey i downloaded the mod and ı loved it and I want to play as evil Bumblebee but I dont know how to do it can somebody help me ?
@@DigitalArctic hello! thanks for answering
From what I see the crashes have to do: With the language
To fix the Blackout crash, change the name of the dialog folder from USA to SPA (which is the language my game is translated to).
And in this case, what it did was change it back to USA, which seems to have solved the problem.
Curiously, in SPA the dialogues are available but not in the USA or in ENG, perhaps all this problem is due to incompatibility with the language of the files vs the translation of the game
maybe the solution is to force the game to use the language in which the mod was built
Btw I didn't know it was translated into Spanish!
I'll try later downloading a version of the game in its original language and then make the changes to the dialog folder, then I'll notify you 👍
@@victormnuel179 Interesting.
Been playing the mod.
Is it possible to get this mod to run on a emulator, to be more specific Rpcs3?
Not at the moment. The mod would have to be tailor made for the PS3 version and not PC for that to work. (Even then, modding the PS3 version is so unstable most of this mods features would have to be removed for the game to even continue functioning on that version.)
did you turn down the volume of the musics or is it just me? because before it was too high
I was going to change the music volume manually, but that increased the file size by entire GB and I didn't want to make the Mod Download too big.
I did do something else though, which is I increased the volume of all sfx and audio to be closer to console, which in turn balances the audio a bit more.
Nice Mod,But i have Question,i wanna make A mod,How i Add Characters (Enemy/Ally) in Qatar?
Well, assuming you've already extracted lo.dat with Quickbms, what you'd want to do is open the LEVELS folder, then go to the level of your choice. (Which is obviously QATAR lol) Inside, you'd want to open Creatures.cfg with a text editor. (Notepad works) You'll see it loads the cfg files for characters and drones, you'll want to add your new character in this file by loading their cfg files. (You can reference other levels creatures.cfgs that already load that character)
With that done, you can open up the AI folder, which contains all of the scps for the missions in the level. You can edit any instance of "#PlayerType=___" to make the game load your character instead of the default ones. (Again, use a text editor to edit scp files. You can also press ctrl and F to open a find program inside text editing programs. You can use that to easily find specific words in the file)
That's for playing characters anyway. Adding enemies\allies is a bit different. You can try checking out the Sumo Sub-Mission scp, copying the modules used to load drones, then pasting that somewhere else. You'd have to change the "#type=___" to the character you want of course. But when doing that, you have to add
SendToModule "#General" "#LoadCreature=___" to load the creature you want to add into the game engine. They won't spawn even with the copied module otherwise. You can repeat this process for allies, only you'd want to add "#Friend" at the end of their module command line.
@@DigitalArctic Thanks Man
@@DigitalArctic Regarding Sumo Submission, I was testing it, and I did exactly what you said, I used the spawn of the drones as a base to Put blackout or Scorponok in place of the drones, Thanks.
@@DigitalArctic I have another Question,How i Add Other Dialog Voices, Example: Change Optimus Dialog Voice for Brawl in A2C2?
@@DigitalArctic Ohh thx!
I am having an issue in Blackout second mission. It just crashes in Hi and Lo mode. The Autobot missions are fine btw.

There a problem with evil bumblebees(stinger) car mode when transformed it doest have any wheels, is there any way to fix this?
Bro this is my request can you make mod transformers prime the game
Maybe one day, at the moment I'm not super familiar with that game.
@@DigitalArctic Ok 🙂
how do you download transformers the game (normal one) nowdays?
Is there a way that you can fix the sensitivity of flight mode? It's a nightmare to play that one especially the Blackout and Starcream missions
Fireworks it's a F*cking nightmare to finish
Us the mod the full game if not where can I get the full game
thank`s for the link
i'm curious, how did you add new sound fx such as ratchet's transformation sound to the game? i tried to add some new sound but on the audio_ng but it crashes my game
@@DigitalArctic owh okayy thank youu!
Hey Arctic where can I find this game for windows 10? Would love to play this mod
@@DigitalArctic understood I’ve seen a bunch of hard copy’s online I’ll check if one has safedisk
Hi, are these mods meant to be used with an emulator, if so which one?
Only Hoover Dam Edition is meant to be used on Emulator (Dolphin or RPCS3 depending on which version) and that is more of a stand alone game than anything. (As it doesn't need to be installed into the main game and is started independently as if it were a separate game) The rest of the mods on my channel including 2.0 are for the PC Version of the game and do not require Emulation. (Hoover Dam Edition was only made for Wii and PS3 because they feature an unused level whose data was only leftover on those versions, and since the format is unique it couldn't be ported to the PC Version)
do you know how to perform the advanced combos?i press E and Bumblebee only does the normal attacks
EDIT:now i know how to do it :D
where ar you download transformers the game pls give me link now
The mod is linked in the description of this video

@@youngdragoon3208 I don't know where you can download this game now as I still own my physical copy.
@@DigitalArctic you transformers where you download
😅
Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of the PC version? I feel like I've looked on every website and the only one I could find is on eBay for $100. If anyone knows where to buy a digital copy please let me know
yo,one question, how did you make the new paths for drone spawns?where they unused or you used something else to do it?
@@DigitalArctic Ok, i'll try it, but if it still crash what can i do?
@@geovannedabomba If it's still a crash when destroying buildings, then you just need to keep trying with the above mentioned methods. It should work eventually.
However if it crashes after picking up or throwing a terminal, that's something different.
@@DigitalArctic Well, i tested it and everything goes ok, btw nice mod, keep up with the Modding on Transformers.
Also In AGF In Chapter 2 Is Hard
Hey my audio is still not working even after downloading the audio files in your mode tutorial video T_T
The dialogues
(It's the worst mission in the game by far stability wise, it's a pain when it happens in the vanilla game, and since it's dependent on computer hardware there's no true fix for it, only ways to improve stability.)

Hey Digital Arctic when how do I get this and be able to play this on the Wii system
I don't know where you can get the Wii version these days, aside from a rare physical copy on Amazon. (Also sadly this mod isn't currently compatible with the Wii version, it's meant for the PC version.)
@@DigitalArctic ok
I download the mod, put it inside the game's flash drive, which is the file that has transformers the game does it take the mod like this??
I'd recommend watching my mod install tutorial video. Beyond the text instructions it shows how to install the mod visually, so that should help.
is there will be any next version ? i still play this mod tnx you brother
Nice to see folks still enjoy this mod!
Another update will come eventually, but if we're talking a more overhauled version of the mod... not sure. Maybe.
@@DigitalArctic we thank u brother , u revived our childhood game , game now is dificult and chalenging and realy enjoyable because of that dificulty
hey digital uh do you know why my no hud options in the debug menu now has broken controls and camera?
The Debug Menu is meant to be loaded during gameplay, but the best method we have right now is loading it on the main menu. As such, certain options don't work properly such as the disable Hud option which is supposed to be enabled when you're already in a level. (When it's done through the menu, levels fail to "fade into gameplay" properly, since that's also part of the Hud for some reason)
If you want to play without the Hud, your best bet is Barricade24's No Hud Texmod file for now, sorry.
@@DigitalArctic Oof well thank you!
Is it possible to make this for the Wii?
Is this mod only for computers or the xbox 360? Because I only have it on my Wii.
Only for PC I'm afraid.
Modding is much trickier and more limited on the console versions.
