@@leonardsheatravel Really! I really liked it there. Hopefully I can get back there someday! Merry Christmas my friend! Keep Spinning and Winning! Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌️
Great to hear from you! I can only imagine what Brooklyn looks like right now. I loved that video when you went for a night walk through Brooklyn! Classic video! Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas!
Hey, Hey Leonard! Thanks for all the cool videos over this past year. Hope you have a Blessed Christmas and a Very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year! God bless. This coming year, maybe a little more of your music? 😁Have a good one, Brother!
Good Afternoon, I live in St Croix. I would add Buck Island and Cane Bay diving including the Wall. St Croix is not a tourist trap like so many other Caribbean islands. You won't find big all-inclusive hotels. We are very laid back like other islands but what I hear most from tourists who come is how friendly people are. So come and enjoy yourself.
I'm looking to move from nyc to st.croix as I have remote work now and would love a laid back environment to explore. What are some neighborhoods you recommend?
@@Jay-eb7ik Good morning, have you ever been to St Croix?. If you haven't I would recommend you visit for a week or two. As for neighborhoods, there are few pockets where you need to be extra careful. Most around housing projects. You spoke of remote work. Being on an island we have power outages which will effect the internet service. once again I would recommend a visit before you make that jump.
First time there was on a cruise ship, next time for a week and this year for a whole month. Going again in January for 5 weeks... can't wait. I would second showing more of Buck Island and snorkeling and Cane Bay on the north shore. May want to include Rainbow beach to watch cruise ships and hiking on the east end near Cramer's park and point Udall.
@leonardsheatravel I'm kind of a history buff The Virgin Islands isn't that old like Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. I want to know the truth I'm not directing any animosity but I was studying World History and I know people have lied to the masses
@@leonardsheatravelIf I move there this year who do I contact for resources if you know. I was in Hawaii and it wasn't good I saw a lot of homeless not getting help
Hi Peter Rabbit, Dr. Latz of Scripps Institute after years of studying shallow water Bioluminescense believes that bug spray particularly those products containing Deet, and body lotions, perfume, cologne. Gasoline and diesel from engines all possibly can have detrimental effects on the organism. A prime example is La Parguera in Puerto Rico which is one of 3 Bioluminescent locations in Puerto Rico but the glow now is minimal after years of vendors doing tours in motorized vessels with gas and diesel dripping into the water. When i owned Sea Thru Kayaks we would refuse a guest from the tour if we detected bug spray on them after we instructed them that it was not allowed but unfortunately my competitors did not follow my guidelines. Additionally this is one reason we did not allow swimming in the bay along with the possibility of a bad encounter with a sea creature. The vendors in Mosquito Bay on Vieques didn't follow this until one night during a bio tour where guests were encouraged to swim a lady was attacked by a shark and subsequently the Government made swimming in the bay illegal.
Please do not swim in any Bio Bay. I owned the largest Bioluminescent kayak tour company on St. Croix and i was the first in the world too use all clear lexan see through kayaks. On numerous occasions i took out Dr. Michael Latz to record the Bio, he is from Scripps Institute and is one of the foremost authorities in the world on shallow water Bioluminescense...He is totally against people swimming in the bay as it is detrimental to the fragile organism.. AND google shark attack during Bio bay tour in Mosquito Bay Puerto Rico where swimming in the Bio was promoted until this occurrence. And the company in this video is aware of an incident in the Salt River Bio Bay that prompted them and my other competitors to stop promoting swimming in the Bio many years ago.
Sponge6520, Thanks for your educational comments. What is it that people shed /change in water chemistry? Did he ever isolate a cause for the detrimental effects?
