I bought a Supernote A5 and it worked for 8 days and froze. After a month of emails, I'm sending it back for a refund. Their customer service people are nice. Just wished the product worked.
I chosed the Remarkable 2 as I got to put my hands on it and realized this was just what I need : paper with some superpowers, simple to use, a way to organize all those scribbled notes I make all the time at home and at work. I also draw a lot, so it will be perfect for basic sketching. Mine is expected delivering tomorrow, I just can't wait...
Thanks for your videos. I appreciate your approach to explaining why your think someone would choose a specific device over another. 8:38 I’m learning that we now live in a society that loves to get upset at a device that doesn’t fit their needs 100%-- no matter what, and they will immediately devalue the product. These are the same people that would go to a pizza restaurant and complain that they don’t sell tacos, and if that restaurant did start selling tacos (just to make them happy) - “well, you don’t have nachos.” Then before you know it it’s no longer a pizza restaurant. I just really wish people would do their research (I know, research is a lost art) and pick a product that fits their needs instead of trying to turn something into something it’s not. “Why did you buy a reMarkable if you wanted an iPad?!” My reMarkable comes next week. I have an iPad Pro 12” and I love it. However, when taking notes (at work) I could really use a device that is super minimal. I love the art of writing on paper, but I also love the ability to quickly put my notes (thoughts) in order. reMarkable is going to do that.
I got reMarkable 2 and was really tempted to go for other more featured options, but after using it, I realized that I don't need anything else that's not in RM2. Simplicity just helps
Again, very much of an Apple-esque salespitch logic. An initially perceived "simplicity" that will cost you a lot of unnecessary workflow hinderance in the end. But then, it looks and feels better and all that extra money is surely worth the status, right? :-)
@@martf8233 If one can afford a Maserati as opposed a Mazda, it becomes more of an "economic factor;" are you bothered that your purchasing status might be less? 🤔
I'm thinking the same thing. Started out with the Remarkable because I wanted to take notes and sketch. But reviews told me I would need more of this and more of that, so I started leaning toward the Supernote. Then I started looking at all those extra features and realizing they were things I didn't really need. So maybe it'll be the ReMarkable 2 after all? Still trying to decide...
@@chaburchakI bought two Supernote AFTER buying two Onyx Boox Note Airs and chose not to get the Remarkable 2 for many reasons including that new $10 monthly fee the added on
I've got Remarkable 2, but I'm struggling with two things: 1) I don't like that Remarkable has full access to all of my documents. (I'd like to see something with stronger security or even document encryption). 2) I wish Remarkable offered USB storage vs. only cloud options. When reading T&Cs Remarkable states they may share your information with third parties which is not cool. I want full control over security and privacy...not sure Remarkable can tick those two check boxes for me...other than that it's an amazing device just a you have shared in several other videos.
Thanks JB - another great video! I’ve tried both, and prefer the RM 2. For me, it comes down to an “intangible” - which I can only describe as “JOY”. I find myself inspired to write - and enjoying the writing process. I believe it’s more a combination of what you’ve presented: the “feel”, the design, no-lag, and the closed (“simple”) ecosystem. This combo creates a bit of ‘magic’ which works well for me. Keep up the great work!
I’m an astronomy an astrophysics major with adhd and something like the remarkable 2 seems if it’ll be really helpful for me because I NEED the tactile feel of pencil and paper to remember things, but with my major I fill up over 2000 pages of work / scratch work and notes a year, and then it all gets disorganized, the remarkable will make it so easy to hold notes in organized places and the feel of the pen is what sells me because I don’t like the gliding smooth feel of a screen, with adhd I just can’t remember things without that tactile paper feel, I don’t know why. I LOVE your review though, especially after watching the “why buy the super note over remarkable” it really helped me figure out which one I want lol!
I got 2 (yes 2) remarkable tablets and returned them both within a few days. They were glitching out and not functioning right. I wasn't mad, as I'm sure it was bad batch or something. However, thier customer service was awful! Even after sending videos of the malfunctions they did not want to refund my money and kept canceling my return shipping... I have a supernote pre ordered now. Hands down supernote customer service is soooo much better.
Excited to try these. I have photosensitivity so I love that it isn’t backlit. I am an artist and would love to draw and plan compositions on these. I have ordered both to compare... I had a rough start with the ordering process for the Remarkable2 (duplicate order due to no confirmation and no way to cancel the order.) Supernote customer service has been so entirely wonderful that they might just have my loyalty... that said, I am a very tactile person and want to use it to write, sketch and draw so I am still going to give Remarkable a shot. It is going to need to be significantly better of a writing feel to choose it over the Supernote 😊
Great review. Solidified my decision. I want the Remarkable for exactly for what it was made for: a replacement for writing on paper. The only thing I have to get past is having to replace the pen nibs. Thank you for your time.
My Husband just got the reMarkable and they give you 9 replacement nibs (at least with the Marker Plus). That would probably last about a year. Replacing the nibs takes less than 10 seconds. Overall, I would say reMarkable has done a good job at replicating the pencil/pen & paper experience. Think of how often you will need to sharpen a pencil, then having to replace the pencil, and how often you would need to change the ink in a traditional pen-especially a fountain pen. Changing the nib is no different, but faster. I just think reMarkable is trying to stay true to the art of writing and are trying to make it as less of a digital experience as possible. If you think about it one or two generations from now people will not understand the concept of writing. Everything will be typed on a keyboard. We already have young people who can’t write in cursive. I work in Event Production and we have staff sign lots of documents, and you can always tell which generation someone is by if they sign a document in cursive, or if they print their signature.
1. LAMY pen for the Supernote(SN) has an eraser button that doesn't require you to flip the pen over - a neat feature, might work on RM too? 2. Writing feel is subjective - try them both out...and it changes with pen types/nibs, 3. SN has the safest case to unit interface, it is not going to come loose. also, pen holder on RM case is a clip for 7$, 4. Not sure that Linux is better than Android unless you want to hack and then see what the next release does to it - remember iPhone hacks? 5. Supernote has a great community and published roadmaps for future releases, the fact is that RM has sold a lot of units and has many users. Do RM engineers enter answers and remarks in these community pages? Supernote does. 6. No mention of the new RM subscription plan so may have happened since he created this. 7. Ability to find files is important - please compare each.
Love your new graphic design of videos! Intro, reasons written in video, turquoise name of device, list of reasons at the end and the "like and subscribe" animation. Don't know if you're doing it yourself or you hired someone, but thumbs up for this improvments! It's really viewer friendly.
my main use is to hopefully convert a checklist that I used when I'm doing audit/inspection. I used to print it and write my comments on each of the question. Now I have to type my comments and no longer able to submit the handwritten notes. I have to be able to get a clean copy of the checklist and submit it. My other use is to write notes during inspection and convert them to text and copy and paste them to a report template. So I have to be ale to share or email my notes to myself. Please let me know in your opinion which of the 2 devices would be suited for my intended use. Thank you
I don't think reMarkable is a real paper replacement, paper have much more functionality: rulers, bookmarks, post-it, pressure sensitive eraser, side-by-side page, fast browsing and also colors. Yes, some are tech limitation of e-ink, but they didn't try to overcome with some digital solution/replacement (available in other note taking app). I think the over protective community is parte of the problem, if the company can afford to behave in such a "private" way, as you point out, it's because they keep supportive, no matter what. I picture the community like a parent who raised a spoiled child.
I just returned my Remarkable2. Using it for work to write and edit PDF files. The writing and file system on Remarkable is excellent. Integrating email and exporting pdf's is terrible.. The phone and desktop apps are terrible. If they at least allowed you to send emails using your own address would be a game changer. Creating, Writing, and editing PDF files is a dream with Remarkable. Getting those files out of the device and sending them to someone is terrible..
1. Top-notch hardware and form factor 2. Ease of use - very simple 3. Little more of a writing feel 4. Eraser 5. Linux OS - you can hack the device if you want 6. Loyal Community - lots of outside support
something I see lacking to me would be something like a scientific calculator built-in, as well as voice dictations, or speech-to-text option during a meeting. That would be super nice. I hate it when I realize I forgot to bring my engineering calculator, and then the boss asks me "so...what would that look like marv....? and i'm like.. um...." So add a calculator, they are always needed.
Thank you JB! I’ve been watching your channel for the past 3-4 months to find the right e-ink device for me. I finally picked up my Remarkable 2 a week ago, and I absolutely love it. So thank you for all your great content on your channel and insights into the different devices. Cheers from Denmark
Thank you for your video. RM2 seems like an amazing device to me. But customer service is everything when you cant visis a store and thats where i heard they were lacking.
(I'm commenting two years later after Supernote has made huge dramatic improvements.) The one and only advantage that Remarkable has now, that i can discern is the color of the device. I _hate_ a white device. Hate. But that's it. Otherwise, the Supernote is hands down the superior platform.
I've seen other reviews, and I'm still leaning toward the A5X. I saw two reviews, one of "using an A5X day to day" and one comparing the two and the Boox Note Air and one thing that is an advantage of the A5X is being able to "star" notes or pages in documents and find those stars rather easily (like bookmarks) and to also index notes to have a table of contents. From the one review, it was said reMarkable doesn't have these features. If true, then the reMarkable is almost too simplistic for me.
I’m putting my money on Supernote. More functionality. Cheaper. Wear-resistant pens (dealbreaker). Good feel, especially with the HOM. Good cover, rm2’s cover is overpriced, and the device comes off with a light shake. The only thing Supernote loses at is the writing feel, but then again, the difference is really marginal I think.
@@pressfinchat first off, what is HOM? And second off, i heard that supernote is like a ballpoint pen on paper, whereas the RM2 is like a pencil. Can you maybe clarify a bit on that?
@@cyberpsych1 The A5X can do all of that and AFAIK, there is no OneNote integration from RM2. And, for sure writing feel is NOT superfluous. I wanted something that feels like a very fine gel roller and not a pencil. With the Supernote, I have that.
Good comparison, JB. As you say, each device has its own advantages, depending on the user’s requirements. One area that cannot be debated and wasn’t mentioned is the add-on costs of the accessories. With reMarkable, you have to pay extra for the cover, the pen and then you have to replace the nibs regularly (some users say every few weeks, depending on usage). With Supernote, as part of the package, you receive all the accessories at no additional cost. These aren’t low-quality either. The covers are purpose-built with hard-wearing canvas or high-grade leather, and the styluses are arguably the best in the industry. You can choose from Supernote’s unique pen with a ceramic nib that never needs replacing or the German-made Lamy with an eraser and a specially-designed, long-lasting tip for the Supernote.
Hey PsiFi009! I made my own cover and got the 50 dollar pen. Which helped me a great deal because there is not a chance ever, that I would spend 150 on a cover (for me, that money went to my running shoes, so it's really all about the value to the customer). Someone else might never want to pay 150 for a pair of trainers. I get that, too. As for the nibs, there's soooo many other pen options like the Noris Digital Jumbo, with eraser and nibs, I paid under 40 bucks (which included tax). But again, there are sooo many wonderful stylus options. I'm happy to pay 2 bucks a nib, if I enjoy the way the nib writes.
@@TheHappyWhisk I know what you mean - money is especially tight for all of us these days. I like the way you justify the costs - I do the same but in reverse. For me, I figure it's worth paying more for a quality stylus (mine's a Lamy) because I will be spending a lot of time writing. As for $150 for trainers ... hmm, for that money, they'd have to allow me to levitate as I ran - like the Hoverboard from Back to the Future!
@@psifi0095 Hahahaha on the Back to the Future. I love it! I love, love, love my Noris Digital Jumbo. I draw a lot with it on the Samsung tablet. I love the rM2 white pen though too. Such a great feel. I looked at the Lamy and almost bought one! I love a good stylus. But I love my Noris so much that I bought a second one. Or, Hubby did and put it in my stocking this past Christmas. I agree, a good stylus is worth it. And the Lamy is still on my curious list. Again, hahahaa, on the hoverboard. Very, very good stuff. Cheers, Whisk.
@@TheHappyWhisk I can highly recommend the Lamy. People rave about them and I was so taken with mine I bought four rollerballs for regular writing. I am now trying to justify to my wife that I need another four so that I can ... um ... write four times faster or better or something. Who knows, you only have ten months to see if your hubby puts one in your stocking (is that still a thing?)
Just FYI, all Android systems are Linux systems too, but it runs its own little Java-based abstraction layer, so it's not VERY linux-y. It just uses the kernel and replaces all of the other typical linux software with it's own Java-based (mostly) software stack. Part of why the reMarkable boots faster than its competitors is that it's really basic Linux system is very pared-down vs an android system, even a pared-down android system like the QuirkLogic. Hope that all made sense. Lots of unavoidable repetition in those sentences. ^__^
I was the 500th thumbs up!!!! if only the remarkable 2 I bought yesterday was the same number :) really liking the channel mate all the best from Australia
I found that Wacom One pen is working on the Supernote A5X. Have you tested that other Wacom pens, such as Wacome Pro Pen 2, are also working on the Supernote or reMarkabke?
I have both but the Remarkable is better for writing books. Supernote you can't have a long chapter because it will freeze on you and lose what you just wrote.
OK - totally thinking of a Remarkable 2.... BIG questions for me.... Does it feel like writing with a pen or like writing with a pencil? Just cause of the nibs wearing down make me think it writes like a pencil? Please let me know.... Thanks!!!
I’ve been SO tempted to go for the Remarkable 2 but then I stumbled across a lot of people who said the customer service was impossible to reach and shipping was way delayed which worries me. Has anyone here experienced the same?
@@kai1527 there customer service is horrible! Supernote on the other hand take gery good care and listen to all feedback, change things when they see an issue and even send out gifts to users after feedback that helped to improve the UX, like ned fountain pens for the Supernote etc... is a very good Japanese customer service! the remarkable is just a group of rude rich people investing in a product with zero support
I wouldn't call it "6 reasons to buy ReMarkable 2". The feel I get from watching both videos is "hey, SuperNote device is objectively better, but ReMarkable just FEELS amazing". Which may sound like a silly reason to buy something, but the whole point of eNotebooks is to replace pen and paper, so it's valid. I mean, SuperNote has better features, but boy, is RM2 sexy as hell! :) I agree with some other comments here, it does feel like you are searching hard for reasons to buy RM2 over SuperNote and not finding them :) Looking at both units right now, and leaning heavily towards SN A5X, but they are on back-order until April....
I've been looking for an eNotebook for a while now, and i can't seem to make the choice between RM2 and supernote. I heard somewhere supernote feels more like a pen to paper, where the RM2 is more like pencil to paper. I just can't decide which i want more...
Both devices cost about "same" (even if you must pay custom and taxes for Supernote), and i chose best value for my money. better hardware, better response time, awesome support, great community! That are reasons why i have buyed Supernote, cause better i have some extra feature and dont use it (read be minimalistic like rm2), then i thow my money out of window and i need some feature
A note about Android vs. Linux. This is confusing because Android _is_ Linux under the covers. Just like OSX is BSD Unix under the covers. Android is Google stuff built on top of Linux. The Android platform allows savvy developers to hack on stuff that is Linuxy or at the upper layers that is more Androidy. Plus, in theory, Android can allow for plugging into the Playstore. In contrast, Remarkable running on vanilla Linux doesn't have access to the Playstore. The Android v. "Linux" thing can be confusing since, Android, in the end, _is_ Linux under the covers. Therefore, both are Linux-based eink platforms, w/ Supernote using an Android-flavored Linux. Cheers.
Thank you for the video. I'm still undecided about either item but I do love the rem.2. for the simplicity. I was wondering does it work in an actual class room to write notes?? Maybe that's why I have not bought any writer. I'm person who needs to hold and see how it works personally to make my decision. Have a great day and thanks.
Well, this is very much selling me on the reMarkable 2, because of the strong user community, but also and especially the Linux factor that you strongly mentioned (reason #5). I am using linux as my main driver at home for everything, at all time, avoiding Windows as much as possible (I have no choice for my job but to use Windows).

This is a tough one - they both are good, I am NOT an artist just going by what others say. The reMarkable has nibs that wear down, but some great art on it. Supernote has a different feel to it. I live it, but it really is personal choice and wish you could test them both. They both have had some spectacular art done on them. I just think reMarkable has a lot more units out there if that makes sense. I wish I could give you a better opinion on it.
@@chaburchak Sorry I couldn't be more specific - it is a tough one, I think you can go with either one, it is just so challenging because you can't test them out.
So I've watched a ton of review videos and I'm still unsure which to get. It seems reMarkable can't do text search of handwriting? Huge shortcoming which would make it too useless to buy. But it does SVG file export. It seems Supernote does text search but hasn't got SVG export yet. Note Air does both but shipping to UK is an expensive and lengthy ball ache, and returns policy if I try it and don't like it is completely unfavorable and putting me right off the company. Hmmmm......?
9 reasons to buy remarkable2 as of my post: - Screenshare capability to computer using remarkable app - Dropbox integration - Google cloud integration - OneNote integration - On-screen note annotation of documents - Send-to-email capability of edited documents - Pinch to zoom/enlarge functionality - Ability to add 3rd party templates (Look for E-ink) - Top of pen acts "just like an eraser" when making corrections These are just a few factors to consider. Nub wear, drop testing, writing feel, are all superfluous factors NOT TO DETERMINE PURCHASE. Consider the "9" reasons provided.
Thank you JB! Great comparison.I guess I didn’t expect that much functions from RM because I know I don’t need a iPad V2. Ordered RM2 from US website last week but still didn’t receive any tracking info... Is it normal?
Thank you. Very useful review. As soon as I've heard the Remarkable comparison to Apple alongside all the other tell-tale signs my decision was made. It will have to be the Supernote. :-)
You did hit the high notes. I find the RM1 quite intuitive. I have the Onyx Nova 3 and found it took much more effort to get Rolling with it. I would assume the Supernote would be somewhere in between the two. Personally I have found price and form factor to be the most compelling reasons for my choice. They all seem to do a pretty good job on the note taking functions.
This is a cool technology but man I can't justify the cost of the device when typical paper notes only cost 10 bucks in a BULK. And in my opinion it is much more convenient to look through it
For high school? Damn son, get used to being the weirdo who is holding his fancy E-notebook all the time. High school is such a mental asylum. Ironically you HAVE to hold it no matter what because it'll either break or be stolen from your backpack in High school
Nice video and yes, I love my rM2. But question...have you (or anyone here in the community) ordered any nibs yet? I guess the better question is, do they sell the nibs as a stand alone product?
Can you take you pros and cons of one platform, stack it against the pros and cons of another and give a recommendation? I understand you are not trying to be biased, but we are coming to you for an opinion. If I don't see both of your pro videos for each product then the video looks biased. I know that isn't your intention.
Hello All. I just received my rM2...and it kind of feels like writing on glass. Also, my penmanship only looks decent with the “fountain pen” option. ...I am debating to return it, and purchase A5X in hopes the writing surface feels better. Would love anyone’s advice; thanks!
I feel like JB is manifesting the RM communities collective disillusion with the device/company in this video. It's like he's struggling to find things to say about it that are "better" than the Supter Note and starts talking about general things that are "good" (and dare I say, "good enough") about the device. I may be projecting here (RM1 owner and batch 3 preorder), but it's just a strange feeling to go from defending them on social media 4 months ago to feeling increasing regret over my purchase. It is a GoRgEoUs device, the pen is great, but it's a pen and paper replacement that's fairly fragile. My pen with the eraser dropped from my kitchen table and the eraser portion went flying across the room. It's broken for good, which apparently is a fairly common thing based on Reddit. I don't want to have to be delicate with a pen and paper replacement, and when they aren't offering anything more than that it's hard to feel good about the purchase. Is it the companies fault that people are dropping their devices/accessories and breaking them? Of course not. Should this may have been a consideration for the company that wanted to replicate the pen and paper experience? I would argue yes. I can say after watching both of these videos that I am heavily leaning into the SuperNote community and have my finger on my mouse ready to buy. I convert a lot of my notes to flashcards and the exports form my RM are basically unusable. Apparently the SuperNote has a similar problem, but when I asked about it in the Reddit community I was informed the company has already addressed this is an issue and they are working on better export quality... It's a strange feeling seeing actual company employees reply in the community regularly. I'm not saying all of this to be hard on Remarkable, or even to tell you not to buy one, but just wanted you to know how a loyal Remarkable customer is feeling 4 months after receiving their device.
Remarkable fans are getting swayed by the way the brand is advertised and most of them haven’t even tried other products coz it’s from “China” and takes more “money” to cover shipping costs

I just afraid to break it or something...its my preciousssss... ;) -simplicity is a feature but I want to see SF updates (things like we have in DDVK) -RM reminds me a Chromecast. Its a thing that does mainly one thing but it does it very good.
Advantage: Very simple for those who don't want to learn too much and just go. Advantage: Runs on Linux and is good for those who want to dedicate the time to learn how to hack into the system. Well then who is this for? These seem to cancel each other out.
I would NEVER advise anyone to buy the supernote. I bought one and it's just been terrible. It reminds me and acts like knockoff of something. It's turns off in the middle of written notes and reboots itself. I did a video about it but I counted in the video 10 times it cut on and off on and off on me. It's also hard to transfer your notes to an email or printer. This Supernote costed me 500 dollars plus. It was the WORST buy I ever made in my life! But at your own risk!

Me too, I like the feeling from writing on Remarkable so much, It make me happy all the time to used it. 😍😍
I LOVE your review though, especially after watching the “why buy the super note over remarkable” it really helped me figure out which one I want lol!
if organization is the dealbreaker for you the Supernote A5 is the one to go for!
Only thing that holds me back from the RM2 is the stylus pen tip that wears out.
I had a rough start with the ordering process for the Remarkable2 (duplicate order due to no confirmation and no way to cancel the order.)
Supernote customer service has been so entirely wonderful that they might just have my loyalty... that said, I am a very tactile person and want to use it to write, sketch and draw so I am still going to give Remarkable a shot. It is going to need to be significantly better of a writing feel to choose it over the Supernote 😊
update?
We want to know!
@@IsaacNYC212 I've had it for about 7 months now and I am very happy with my decision

7. Ability to find files is important - please compare each.
feels like a paid "ad" for RM
Love your new graphic design of videos! Intro, reasons written in video, turquoise name of device, list of reasons at the end and the "like and subscribe" animation. Don't know if you're doing it yourself or you hired someone, but thumbs up for this improvments! It's really viewer friendly.
You rock Amy thanks so much
my main use is to hopefully convert a checklist that I used when I'm doing audit/inspection.
I think that the supernote has also a better pdf reader and review function
@Michael Berstein if you need a device for reviewing academical writings or to study college books is rather important
@Michael Berstein as you wish my friend 😬
1. Top-notch hardware and form factor
2. Ease of use - very simple
3. Little more of a writing feel
4. Eraser
5. Linux OS - you can hack the device if you want
6. Loyal Community - lots of outside support
7. warranty is way too short = no reliability /manufacturer confidence = no buy.
something I see lacking to me would be something like a scientific calculator built-in, as well as voice dictations, or speech-to-text option during a meeting.
Thanks so much for the comment and thanks for the support really appreciate it
Be aware people. To use most of remarkable main features, you need an expensive monthly subscription. This was introduced in august this year.
Why the fuck would they do that. Thats a big contra for me
Er... $3/month is hardly expensive. It's a coffee.
Thank you for your video. RM2 seems like an amazing device to me. But customer service is everything when you cant visis a store and thats where i heard they were lacking.
Thanks for the comment they’re not the best at it they are OK they’re working to get better it’s a small company
(I'm commenting two years later after Supernote has made huge dramatic improvements.)
The one and only advantage that Remarkable has now, that i can discern is the color of the device. I _hate_ a white device. Hate. But that's it. Otherwise, the Supernote is hands down the superior platform.
Remarkable 2 is indeed a piece of art.
The amount of disrespect at 4:22, as a A5X owner I'm offended. :'D
@@scottamolinari Typo on my part (Whoops); I'd meant to type "Microsoft OneDrive Support"
What is the difference between a clean feeling vs writing feeling?
Really great points there that’s so true
Thanks JB! Solid points on choosing the RM2! All are the points I considered as well.
Thanks Wayne as always!!!

I found that Wacom One pen is working on the Supernote A5X. Have you tested that other Wacom pens, such as Wacome Pro Pen 2, are also working on the Supernote or reMarkabke?
I wish they had these devices back when I was I school...

I wouldn't call it "6 reasons to buy ReMarkable 2". The feel I get from watching both videos is "hey, SuperNote device is objectively better, but ReMarkable just FEELS amazing". Which may sound like a silly reason to buy something, but the whole point of eNotebooks is to replace pen and paper, so it's valid. I mean, SuperNote has better features, but boy, is RM2 sexy as hell! :)
I agree with some other comments here, it does feel like you are searching hard for reasons to buy RM2 over SuperNote and not finding them :)
Looking at both units right now, and leaning heavily towards SN A5X, but they are on back-order until April....
Weird, I had the impression of the obverse.
Great video Coach, Thank you 😊

Great review. I want the reMarkable for my note taking....simple and easy. Does it come with a charger? Or is that bought separately?
A charging cable is provided :)
Cheers.
Thanks you have sold me on this product.
any reasons not to spend this bloody $400?
I love these comparisons!
Thank you very much glad you like it!
What about the monthly subscription costs for the RM2? Anyone think the monthly costs are worth it?

So which is better for sketching, the Remarkable 2 or the Supernote A5X?
This is a tough one - they both are good, I am NOT an artist just going by what others say. The reMarkable has nibs that wear down, but some great art on it. Supernote has a different feel to it. I live it, but it really is personal choice and wish you could test them both. They both have had some spectacular art done on them. I just think reMarkable has a lot more units out there if that makes sense. I wish I could give you a better opinion on it.
@@morningcoach Well that helps. Thanks!

9 reasons to buy remarkable2 as of my post:
- Screenshare capability to computer using remarkable app
- Dropbox integration
- Google cloud integration
- OneNote integration
- On-screen note annotation of documents
- Send-to-email capability of edited documents
- Pinch to zoom/enlarge functionality
- Ability to add 3rd party templates (Look for E-ink)
- Top of pen acts "just like an eraser" when making corrections
These are just a few factors to consider.

And in my opinion it is much more convenient to look through it
Really, these were the 6 reasons make me buying Supernote 😂😂😂. Thanks
Glad I could help!

#1 reason why buy The reMarkable 2 Over The Supernote A5X: getting sponsored by the remarkable supplier.
Didnt really compare it to the supernote…
The costumer service, is the reason why I ordered it in first place
Remarkable fans are getting swayed by the way the brand is advertised and most of them haven’t even tried other products coz it’s from “China” and takes more “money” to cover shipping costs
