I officially started spark driving 11/5/23 and to date i've made 2k plus. I love doing this and have watched all your shows. thank you so much for the great attitude you have. it drove me to wanting to start.
Hey, 👋 I love getting the spark insensitives. Shop and deliver are my favorite thing with spatk. I use extra large insulated bags to carry all the grocery bags. Makes the gig life so much easier. Work smarter, not harder! I love your video. Keep them coming!! 👊
I also use Gridwise. Works great across a lot of gig work apps. Also gives you the option to export all your info into an excel file for taxes at the end of the year.
I dont know what solo is. It tracks your earnings and your mileage and all that. Tells you how much you make per mile across different apps like Doordash, uber, Spark, instacart, and many others. Shows you which apps you make the most money on so you can prioritize. Then at the end of the year you can pay a small fee and they will send it to you in an excel file so you can use it for your taxes to write off your mileage and all that. Its pretty awesome @@Clear_Spectre

Congratulations on hearing back from the gallery about having an exhibit there. Your art work is absolutely stunning!⭐ Thank you for always being so positive about gig work! I enjoy your channel so much because you are thankful for the opportunities the apps give us, and not negative and list all of the ways they could be better. I feel the same as you, just thankful for the extra earning opportunities! Have a fantastic week!😊
Always love your videos! You always have such a positive demeanor which encourages me to get out there and make some change!! Keep up your good work!!! 👍👍
Hello 👋🏽 I literally just started last week I'm learning a lot from watching your videos as well as others. I live in a mid size city with four walmarts close how dobI change zones to a even bigger city. And if I do will I be able to change back and forth? So far because it's almost the holidays I made over $118 dollars for about 4 hrs work. Thanks for sharing all the tips . I Will look into gridwise as well
I do believe you can change zones back and fourth no problem! In order to change your zone, go from the Home Screen to the 3 dotted tab at the bottom right of the screen. Click on the “your zone” tab, and then change in the upper right hand corner. You should be able to get it from there!
"Extra Earnings" is usually $1.50 to $2.25 per 15 minutes of waiting. This is dependent on the Walmart Manager's discretion, size of the order, and busyness (Holidays usually pay more). Sometimes there's other smaller increments extra earnings that I get, too.
I was a Walmart employee for 27 years seen all the changes through the years . because i had a amputation I had to retire as a customer. I really need food anditems brought to my house and I'm really interested in learning and how the delivery system works
I live in Long Beach, MS and deliver from the Wal-Mart in Pass Christian. Every area is different, but I only accept orders that are going to pay me $2/mile round trip. We don’t have multiple stores to deliver from and there are a lot of drivers and on average on Saturday and Sunday I make $250/day. I think this is pretty good for my area. What are other people’s daily average earnings?
That’s awesome! My parents and wife’s parents live down there. Wife’s parents live in diamond head. Small world! I’ve heard the market down there is awesome for lots of apps!!
What??? lol I work in the Waveland store! Oh no you shouldn’t have said that lol I might creep up to the Pass! 😂I didn’t think the Pass made much money tbh. Their graph is always low..
I dont remember if I asked but do you have a full time job, if so then you do this in your spare time, and if you do a full time job, what work is it you do?
When you used the app gigwise to see the neighboring town was doing well do you have to change your zone within Walmart spark so orders show up for that area or just drive to that area?
Yes, in order to get orders from a different zone you will have to change your current zone within the Walmart app. I found when I changed my to a new one for the first time, it took a day for Walmart to let me work within that new zone. Although, it was very worth it during the slow periods of the season because I made more money in that neighboring town.
Help. My auto ins wants $757 more for me driving delivery service. That is almost double the regular rate for a year! And you need ins coverage. First question I was asked after an accident last year was “were you driving any kind of delivery service”. What ins companies are good for delivery service drivers? Thanks!
@@Missippidashing thank you for your reply! Research so far. Called Door Dash - they have a special phone number for if you get in an accident but we’re VERY vague if we are covered for liability. My son is on the phone with State Farm (WV) and he told me that is the way to go - will get more info. But for me, I will make sure I have it noted on my ins (and will pay for driver coverage) so I know I will be covered. My fear is you get in an accident while driving and your ins co says you are not covered. Then you could be personally responsible for damage to 2 cars and injuries, if it was your fault. I wish Door Dash and Walmart had written, clear policies on it so we know what our risk is. And if someone lies to an ins and says they weren’t driving for DD or Walmart at the time, that is felony insurance fraud. Everyone should check with ins company and get in writing if they tell you that you are covered. Would love to know more so anyone on here who knows, please comment. I would also love for you to do a video on this subject - it’s important. Thanks again!
Brand new driver here - did my 1st day today. 2 orders said extra $ for waiting but I can’t see where I got extra. How did you know you got $3 extra for waiting?
I took a screen shot of the original order, and then in earnings there were three more dollars added. Either the customer was being generous, or I got the $3 for waiting lol.
For some reason having problem accepting spark orders ever since they added one more drop off. I was doing fine with 2 drop off. They added a third one. Having trouble accepting.
I wouldn’t accept them unless the mile to dollar ratio adds up. Great example of one I took the other day - 3 drop offs, 6 miles 18 dollars. Done deal, 12 miles over all at $1.50 per mile. Worth the time and money earned.
I've been seeing these s&d offers that have two and three orders. How in the world do you keep items organized and separate? If you fill up a shopping cart do you leave it somewhere and get another to keep shopping? Im thinking that wmt is going to have to have a special cart for sparkers like the associates use when they shop. I worked at Amazon for a short while and it's becoming just like it was at the fulfillment center.
Okay just when I researched grid wise it popped up on a Reddit thread and was just curious about it that’s all, but thanks for the clarification and nice work on your videos keep it up
I'm thinking about doing this opportunity. If I get an order, do I have to already be waiting at Walmart when the order pops up on my phone? Or can I be at home, get the order notification, and drive up to Walmart to pick it up? (I live 15 minutes away from my local Walmart).
That’s a tricky one. You can definitely be at home when accepting orders, but don’t take too long getting to Walmart before the pickup time or they will reassign the order to another driver. For the most part accepting orders from home is perfectly fine!
I just started watching different videos about gig work, like delivery, shopping, spark, etc. but do drivers need special or added insurance for the vehicle to do this type of thing or can I just use the insurance they normally have?
Man,I tried, lol,I tried sooooo hard,I followed Mark Kistler, trying to draw, the volcano and a hole were about the only thing I could draw.. I still can only do rough outlines of things I'd like to make or have made.. lol... stick man drawer here.. 😅
Aww well, I started in that exact place. Hundreds of hours of drawing later, and they have started to look pretty realistic! Just takes time and repetition!
I have a similar situations with two Walmart super centers near me. From my house I can go to one about 2miles away or drive west and get to one 3miles away. Here's my questions: Should I sit between the two and see what comes up? (I can get to either in less than 7min) OR do I just sit in the parking lot of one of them and take my chances? Does the Walmart Spark software (AI?) take any of that into consideration? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
From what I’ve read directly from Walmart, those that are closer to the location get the best offers. You could experiment and see what happens, but I’ve found the best results sitting at my preferred location, and if an order pops up from the second then I’ll take it! Plus, being parked at one saves you travel!
Can anyone give me info on qualifying for the tier 2 rewards? I know i qualified for that in october but have yet to be notified about it or got a code for walmart +
My only problem is that i don't want to deal with the wear abd tear of constantly starting and stopping my car if its in shadier areas. Plus it seems that you might give back alot of the profitability in the nuances of dealing with each oersons delivery for the smaller overall payment per drop....finding each apt per dollar amount etc etc. Ive never accepted anything over 3 drops at a time though ill admit.
@@quintonmaldonado8368 yeah, I don’t deal with that. I deal with all the mid to rich people for it. Otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it. Ain’t got time to like you say stop and cut off the vehicle then start it for each and every delivery. Tho you can also get around this with aftermarket remote start that you can bypass the key lock on but I’d rather enjoy my routes and not look at crappy surrounds while I do it. 😂
Yeah people, dont bother with this gridwise, you will use it only 1 time then it puts up a free trial button and you cant use it without paying damn $10 a month, so if you want to pay to use it go right ahead, also, if youre going to put up a video advertising for some company, why not be totally honest about it and let us all know you have to pay to use these apps, I never would have downloaded this piece of garbage had I known I would have to pay $10 a damn month to use it.

Yeah, Walmart Spark app is way more user friendly than other shopping apps.
I've been seeing a nice $6 incentive but only between the hours of 6-10pm. I'm usually done by then and home making dinner. 🤷🏾♀️
