This is so interesting and therapeutic to watch. I've had poor results with repressing. The end result looks good and doesn't shatter. The issue is when you come to use it. After repressing with an Arbor press (or by hand) the freshly pressed products just doesn't have the same 'press' as before. When I go to place a brush in it to pick up product it picks up WAY more and causes WAY more kickback or fall out on the brush and the new pressed powder. Would love to know your thoughts on this. Thank you in advanced.

This is interesting!... I guess I've been on a pressing binge and haven't actually tried to use the products yet 🥴😅 So awesome to see your face here though!! ❤️

This happens to me too! But I thought it was just because I was pressing by hand and not with an arbor press.

Wayne! sorry I am just seeing this, I am not too active on RUclips but glad I caught your message. Thanks for everything you have done for the beauty community. I got through this industry by watching your videos a decade ago, it shaped me as an artist today. I always try to let everyone know that repressing is not for everyone and there's always pros and cons. you are right, when we break something, and put it back together depending on the correct pressure and techinques, textures can change, the payoff can change. For me as an artist, I always just rely on my hand pressure and my brushes, and if I notice something falls out more, it just forces me to work harder to improve my own techniques, I hope this makes sense. Each artists should have their own reasons why they want to repress or not. For me I choose to repress because I suffer major back issues over the years and doctor said if I don't change my daily routines, it will get worse, I don't use a lot of products to carry the entire thing volume, I travel on a bike to clients in NYC so I need something that can fit in my backpack zipping through traffic.

I've repressed before, at home, with mixed results, and several injuries to my products. Great to see it done a professional way! Thank you for the thorough demonstration. Looking forward to see more artist kit company things.

Got my arbor press recently and purchased your molds, so I'm really excited to follow this tutorial and get to repressing! :) Thank you for the informative video.

Hi MUA, dont re-press baked powders, I repressed a mac mineralized and an hourglass powder & it doesn't hold well, MAC studio fix powder foundations hold up really well even if re pressed :)

You mentioned different types of powders that can and cannot be re pressed. Can you share what types/ingredients of powders that would NOT be ideal to repress?

So happy I am across your page, work, and products. Super informative!
Question : Do you recommend a certain percentage of alcohol (70% or 91%) or does it not necessarily matter?
