Absolutely. Those springs were forged in hell. Also those jumps where you have to just slightly tap the button... hold it for to long and you hit the block and fall into a pit. Don't hold it long enough and you also fall into the pit... I made it to the last boss a few times as a kid but didn't know what to do. I finally finished it a few days ago and it felt like winning olympic gold. Elden RIng's Malenia was a joke compared to this. At least that's a fair fight, but this games' boss will hit you no matter what and its a race of who dies first... if you ever come this far...
Wow just seeing this brings back memories. Gremlins was a childhood favorite and I loved this game. Although it was very tough and I didn't get too far. Feel like trying to beat it again someday

I never got past the first level back in the early 90s. I remember getting this and Gargoyle’s quest for Xmas and not being able to get anywhere on them.
That one's actually quite easy once you discover that when you have the boombox equipped, the note above your head stays visible in that maze, so you'll know exactly where you are. Discovered that one purely by accident way back when I was playing it. Also, I think it's impossible to beat the spider on the first try, cause those two jumps across the spike pits near the end can't be done without taking damage, and you need full health to beat it.
I loved this one. I used to have this game until a"friend lost it". It was very hard,i never beat the electricity gremlin so thanks for show me the rest. Great playing
OMFG, you´re so right! The Batman soundtrack indeed sounded very similar! Good call! I played ALL those games. Damn, was I a blessed child... How things have changed.....
The beginning and ending of the movie has a cameo of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig which is totally unexpected and was a very funny in-joke. They could’ve had them in the game. Just an 8 bit version of Daffy getting tired of Bugs and Porky’s fame but no. Instead we get in game cutscenes and an end screen with the characters from the movie.

Except this isn't Mario Maker, and Mario games are pretty much not known for their difficultyoutside of SMB 2 Japan. This game is hard for a good reason, it is a rather short game in length. This game isn't impossible, it tested your memory, reflex, and skill.
I know what you mean. It´s just weird to me that you point out that 9:26 part specifically, when there were so many other more fitting points from this game to accurately compare to "hot garbage" Mario Maker levels, lol.....

@@Bloodreign1 My answer is a little late, but I have to object: Yes, Mario games are generally not known for their difficulty, but Mario Maker is: People can create whatever they want and this includes extremely hard, extremely easy and extremely bad/unfair levels. It would be possible to re-create most parts of those Gremlins 2 stages using elements from Mario Maker. And all I wanted to say: If someone were to do this, there wouldn't be much love for these levels. ;)
This game is a display of utter sadism, a genuine hatred for the player as he struggles through a maze of springs and thorns. I subjected myself to this game as a kid and got as far as the lightning boss. Now as an adult, I can not for the life of me get through stage 4, even the first few jumps are just insanely precise and damn near impossible. A shame, because the game has some good graphics for the gremlins when they do show up besides the generic bats and spiders and spikes
i finished Batman, Metroid 2, Zelda, Kid Icarus, all mario-wario, super baloo, Castlevania Belmont's Revenge, and more on game boy, but i'll never finish this fucking bad game.

Jump when you're at the bottom of the spring. This game controls very nicely but it's reeeeealy hard.
