The countertop integrated with the room divider in the master bedrooom is such a clever idea. This is the kind of design trick I hope to see more from homes featured on this channel.
A visually beautiful space! but from my end it would be difficult to work around how far the fridge, sink and stove is when working around the kitchen. You have to prep vegetables in another counter and cook in another space, very non functional :/
Very nice but some curiosity questions such as: Is it allowed to put cooking areas on balconies? Wouldn’t cooking odours veer into living areas if neighbours? Is the balcony now waterproofed as well? Noticed the vent pipes in the bathroom which seems to duct the range hood vent as well, i thought venting hoods aren’t allowed in HDB/
haha ... the mirrors detail actually works ... good job the rest of it is also well excuted ... layout plannning, material palete, lighting etc ofc all came at a price ... but the monies are well spent if have the budget .
Is the stainless steel wet kitchen for heavy duty cooking located in a living area balcony? Does HDB allow this? Wouldn’t it be annoying for their neighbours ? To have cooking smell at the balcony/living side of the stack?
It's a nice transformation. Doesn't look like the inside of an HDB now. Does making the interior darker mean you'll need lights on earlier? I'm wondering if energy needs are higher in a darker interior.
lol as someone whom has stainless steel products i find them hard to maintain... cuz the slightest fingerprint shows soo easily!!! same with that mirror claded beam.... alot of work n what if it fell on u? 🤣🤣 be slightly scared of that! but a beautiful house!!! i wouldnt mind moving in to it!! its really move in ready for my style!
I have mixed feelings about this home. Part of it look so much nicer than most homes here but as a whole, it looks a bit messy. Study, 2 kitchens and living all in one space is a bit too much. The design of the 2 kitchens doesn’t go well with the living area. The island look more like part of the living than either of the kitchen. It should look better if it runs parallel with the kitchen cabinet instead of a T shaped. Kitchen should be confined to one corner instead of running across the room and right into the living area. There should be proper segregation so that it doesn’t look so messy. The study table actually spoil the look. A more sophisticated desk matches the luxurious theme more than a gaming looking desk. It would look better if the desk is not placed against the wall. The mirror cladded beams look like knives, not a good idea to have 2 big knives above. The ceiling is pretty low so it would be better to make the beam less obvious and blend into the space / ceiling instead of making it stand out. The placement of the pendant is also weird, with the beam running through it. It isn’t practical to create a narrow foyer area at the entrance. If they need to move bulky furniture in or out, they may have problem. Does HDB allows main door to be repositioned ? It may be a hazard in the event of a fire. The carpentry at the entrance burn easily, making it hard to escape. SCDF required corridor to be at least 1.2m for ambulance crew access. Don’t know if the narrow corridor allows stretcher to pass through. The result would be much better if more thought were given to space planning.
Two digital lock (gate & main door) is a bit redundant Generally, you would only need one either main door + door viewer to observe corridor movement or just a gate digital lock from Yale Having a Recessed Luminaire ceiling light system will make the ceiling look less clutter & neater as the lights are flush against the ceiling instead of having too excessive among of spot light system.
Have to disagree on the 2 digital locks being redundant. If already commited to using digital locks, why would you bother with even having 1 set of physical keys. Most people would lock both when leaving the house and there is no one inside the home.
Majority of brands have double lock function to disable the number pad if ur away for extended period of time. And a lot brands nowadays have really good security function built-in FYI. In case ur not familiar of the full function And if u have a digital lock on the main door the gate would be left unlock.
@@ezekielk.3629 Thank you. I can understand where you are coming from (as in having a digital lock only on main door) . Its quite common for people to only want the door to be open but gate to be closed (and locked) for various reasons: cross-ventilation /air the apartment, awaiting guests/visitors or deliveries etc. But the owners may not be standing/waiting there all the time or may be in other rooms etc.
The concept of having a gate in itself is redundant hahaha. If you visited some other countries like the far east or the west, you will find that they have no gates. Personally I have no plans for a gate in my future home
No plans for kids? Also, the next buyer will not like it as they will need to reconstruct walls and doors. Unless the buyer is another young childless couple.
You do not need to revolve around kids the way you build your house. And I’m very certain in 5 yrs time if they chose to sell, they would have no lack of buyers.
this is a video on home renovations/interior design on a Real Estate platform/channel, what does family planning (which is entirely a matter of personal choice) got to do with it .... omg...
If you can afford this home on the resale market in 5 years i don't seean issue to reinstate the walls & door for $3000+ or you can modify it to have foldable door to enclose the space should you require the space or not. Ultimately a lot of young married couple in the early 30s nowadays are not planning to have kids.

TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THE MASTER BATHROOM LAYOUT! A lot of thought must have been invested into this design.
Love the dark, rich colors they chose. Very warm!

I just noticed that 🤭
@@tiffanycurtis4794 Right! But its not my space, whatever works for them I guess...
It's not difficult at all. You just have to change your workflow. This is almost like a commercial kitchen set up.
what a beautiful home love the dark sleek look and a beautiful couple can we talk about how gorgeous she is go girl 👏🏾 congratulations to them 🤎

Having stayed in Serangoon North since young I never knew there are such big units around lol
hey, nice wor
A bit too dark for my taste. But a very chill and beautiful place. The owners have good taste. Love it.
Thank you!

Something different from the usual scandi muji concept. Very stylish and dreamy concept.
Glad you like it!

Something nice and expensive :)
Beautiful home. Love the decor. Where do you buy the grill door?
Can I please move in? Gorgeous place!
Can I know what is the brand of the air conditioner? How to make it mirror like? Really beautiful
I would like to do the same mirror clad beams. Any idea which contractor can do that?
For 150k of renovation quite worth it for long term stay..
lol as someone whom has stainless steel products i find them hard to maintain... cuz the slightest fingerprint shows soo easily!!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😁
Abit of a missed opportunity for the AC units above the island bench. Should have been a lowered ceiling with a bulkhead unit + grill outlet instead
Thanks for sharing!
What kind of fan is that in bathroom 4:15?
House aside, I wanna know what’s the BGM!
Does anyone know what brand and model the couch is? It looks amazing!

From the outside you would had thought is an Aesop store 😂
who is the int designer/contractor?
Open studio
Where to get this large sofa?
Yes I need to know this too!!! 😃

hm, 145sm.. i think its an EA not a 5rm?
ok NVM. the lady said that.. i was watching without the audio. the description states 5rm HDB
😁
👍✅😜✅👍

Expensive interior design,
Living room gives a wow factor , worth of giving you a B+
But the rest, just not practical, can’t even give you a score. 😅

Why do breeders have to keep asking this question on every stacked homes video.

if they can afford to splash out $130-150K for this job after paying for the flat, pretty sure they can afford to modify it in the future.
Stunning interiors. Who is the ID ? Can you kindly provide the contact ? I am scouting for ID.
Hi, the ID is Open Studio
@Stacked Homes awesome. Thanks. Keep up the fabulous work ! Love watching stackedhome videos !
