Today, chapter 6 in our 9 part tale - my chat with the original Jimmy Olsen, Jack Larson, and Lois Lane, Noel Neill, from the legendary 1950’s TV series, The Adventures of Superman, starring George Reeves.
Noel and Jack discuss why they thought the Superman series was so successful. What John Hamilton, Perry White was really like. what they thought about the amazing character actors, working with guests like Sterling Holloway and Elishah Cook jr.

This so good to see these two together. RIP.
I met Noel Neill in 1978 when she visited my alma mater (UConn). I still have an autographed photo of hers. Very pleasant lady. She told the story of how the principal players were initially paid $200.00 per episode. When the show became successful, they had to beg the producer for a $50.00 raise, which they got, but he didn't speak to any of them for two weeks.

Larson was right. Audiences can feel that they all liked each other. Even the bad guys and the good guys liked each other.
Professor was my favorite character. My favorite episode was the one where he discovered Kryptonite A and B.
