I believe diabetes as such doesn't cause any heart attack , the major contributors are fast foods , alcohol and cigar consumption.

No exercise, heavy smoking every day, drinking frequently, heavy consumption of sugar products, it's quite obvious.

I Have survived a heart attack at the age of 22 year! 9th May 2019! it's been more than 2 years now and I am totally fine now it happened because of a blood clot which happened due to insufficient water I intake during those summer days!

Damn my experience! But one thing is I never smoked, was drinking rarely, not a fat body also, no sugar no bp, no family background of heart disease also. Doctor still wonder how that happened last year. I am 27 y/o and undergone my first angioplasty at raj hospital Ranchi. I still think I didn't needed the stent …..I smoked very rarely...like once in 3 months....and exercised little bit also...I also use to go for running occasionally, previously during college I used to run regularly...but I used to consume a lot of animal products... and I think that is the reason.....I am trying to get disciplined with a more or less kind of a vegan diet....

There are many others things as well which contribute in chances of getting a heart attack. Like bad life style, eating food with high levels of cholesterol, not eating food at time or starving, congenital problem and lack of regular exercise can also lead to heart problems in future. He was able to be saved because he took that chest pain seriously and gone to hospital immediately.

Well mine was partially down to a family history of heart problems, plus I smoked for over 40 years. Missed earlier warning signs, actually died briefly and ambulance crew brought me back. This was Oct 2022. Pacemaker 12 years ago , due to be upgraded later this month. Hoping the upgrade will give me the Disney channel and Sky Sports 😊. I’m very lucky but also feeling completely depressed. Heart function is around 30% and I’m 61 just waiting for something else to go wrong
