    That’s a very informative video and thank you so much for explaining in detail about the preventive measures sir. Recently in January we lost our close cousin who was just 45. He had a sudden cardiac arrest and his brain was dead 😔😔. Though the ambulance arrival is fast in the U.S but in this case, the cpr should be given immediately to avoid the brain damage. I think that is not possible for any ambulance to come so quickly and do it. We lost him and he left all his family in so much grief 😔😢. He was a healthy person with healthy habits and went to the gym regularly.

      @@VB-dp5oz but it’s like any other thing where u were meant to go to ur gp and have health checks before getting the vax. If there was any health conditions, the gp would’ve advised against getting it. Grow up man. Billions of people have had the vax……how many have died? Like 10%? Plus, it hasn’t even been proven that kk died from the vaccine. It’s hilarious how everyone tries to be a Dr online and posts shit comments. Honestly, grow up! Also, if u believe everything google says about side effects then Dr’s shouldn’t even exist becoz google will tell u everything. Don’t spread such rubbish news online. My father had COPD and esophageal cancer from being a heavy smoker since his teen years (he quit once diagnosed with cancer). The cancer was cured through surgery, chemo and radiation. He went to his doctor many, many times over the following years complaining of shortness of breath, and was usually just given different inhalers. This went on for 15-20 years. There were even a couple of hospital ED visits where he was looked after by a respiratory physician. The heart was never considered.
    Turns out he had congestive heart failure and his doctors had never requested an ECG, despite him being well over 50 at the time, slightly overweight and having a history of smoking. He had a successful CABG surgery, but by this point he had already developed vascular dementia and his LVEF is still in the heart failure range.
    I would probably also add shortness of breath, dizziness and coughing when lying flat to the list of symptoms to be cautious of.

    Good morning Dr. Nene! This Dr. Smruti and I have completed my MBBS in India and I am about to pursue my PG this year. My 27 year old boyfriend of 5 years, who is also my batchmate is also about to pursue his PG this year. He suffered from a STEMI last year in June and had to undergo an emergency PCI with a DES due a complete blockage in his proximal LAD. He is currently on medications and on regular follow up and is doing well now. His risk factors included family history and smoking. But no Diabetes. His father has the same issue and is currently 64 years old and on medications himself.
    Sir, I am really concerned about the future prognosis and would like to know from your vast clinical experience that what is usually the future in such cases. Although I understand that it is impossible to predict anything and each case is different. But Sir, please help me. I wish to lead a normal married life with him and this is a major concern for my family. Hoping for a response from your side🙏🏻

    • @DrNeneOfficial
      @DrNeneOfficial  2 года назад

      Great question. Calcium scoring can help to risk stratify patients who have calcification due to heart disease. But as often happens, soft plaque may not be seen on a calcium scoring heart CT. Therefore, the index of suspicion should be low if you have risk factors and symptoms to go and get a workup.
