My guess will be once you come off that concoction of synthetic caffeine and whatever else they put in 5 Hour energy you'll be the better for it, carnivore diet or otherwise. You understand the synergy between ADHD / bi-polar meds and caffeine, right?

I couldn’t agree more, hence my desire to no longer buy it. Plus whatever they put in the SodaStream Lemonade that’s somehow zero calories.

And actually I thought caffeine was “good” for ADHD…is it not?

I've been on Carnivore for about 3 months now. Cut out all carbs and sugar(as close to it as possible, anyway)
The first two weeks or so were rough while my body adjusted to burning fat for fuel. I was constantly tired and cranky. After that, though? I feel a million times better. I'm dropping weight faster than I can keep up (with the aid of exercise of course) I didn't have any major conditions to speak of outside of being 41 and constantly having acid-reflux/Gerd...which would get bad enough sometimes to put me on the couch. That is 100% gone now. I run almost every day and lift at the gym and I haven't had any lack of energy. quite the opposite, actually.
That's my anecdotal story. Hope it helps some. Biggest advice is to just give it some time. You're gonna hate it at first. Best of luck to you!

Surprisingly I’ve been doing carnivores few days now and feel great, but I haven’t given up caffeine (5-hour energies) yet…actually just ran out of them today so tomorrow is gonna be interesting.
Thank you so much for your story! It’s truly inspiring and will be one of the motivators that keeps me going ❤

@@BeccaPossible Haha yeah caffeine is a tough one to quit. It was alcohol for me. I was a moderately heavy drinker since I got out of the military. Gave it up when i started Carnivore. Was not a good time for a couple weeks but it was entirely worth it!
      You can do it!

It’s funny you mention alcohol. I’m actually two years sober. And I quit smoking in 2011. And I’ve quit pretty much now junk food and unhealthy foods. So it’s just the caffeine that’s left. My last unhealthy vice out the window tonight.

@@NotOomayoh my goodness I’m definitely determined, for sure! One of the reasons my husband said YES when I proposed to him. 😂

I was drinking a 1-2 powder packet of Celsius and two or three of nespresso double shots run through the machine twice. 😳 I don’t know how much caffeine I was actually drinking every day.
July 1st I cut caffeine, all dairy, and artificial sweeteners except for whatever is in my redmonds relyte.
The first week was horrendous!! It took a few weeks to feel like I was thriving on no caffeine but it gets better.
But.. I lost 17lbs in July. If you’re still doing 75 hard you’ll have even better results!!

That’s amazing! I definitely drink too much caffeine daily, but I only have 1 5-hour energy left, which I’m sure I’ll drink when I get home (it’s still fairly early in the afternoon right now). Then it’s done for. And yeah the only sweetener I’ll have is my DrBergs electrolytes until it runs out then I’ll switch to LMNT raw unflavored. So excited to see where this journey will lead 🤩
