I already have a Wacom Intuos, but I still can't stop watching all the reviews of other drawing tablets. It's really fun, especially yours, they're really informative!! ^^
This is the first video I've seen with all 3 sitting and compared next to each other. That 32" is absolutely ENORMOUS. I'm honestly not sure if that's a pro or a con. Bigger isn't always better, and that thing would be hard pressed to sit on my desk with some other monitors, which is already large. I have the 24" Pro Touch and it's plenty big. The vesa and ergo arm should be shipping soon, then I'll finally have the correct setup. These things are awesome to draw on, though you'll want to keep the brightness and contrast just under 50% to really keep the fan noise down.
Doing an overview of the set-up and unboxing of these tablets as well as giving your initial thoughts on them is a very good idea! I'm looking forward to the full review, of course, but this is already more informative than most other videos of these products that are out there. It's very helpful (at least to me) to see these things both before and after the set-up required to get them functioning properly. Thank you for this.
I understand it. I have 27 now and I love it. It’s just...everything about it is great. But I still bought 32 because of the screen and color...and a bit of geek I think. But 27 is really a good size...I don’t know they gonna bring it to pro series or not..because we have 24 and 32...27 is a little bit of awkward between them...😔
Gosh! Finally, a video to review 32...I’ve been waiting for it so long...and I decided to order it from Japan last night, hope I can use it as soon as possible. And thank you for showing me the unboxing and ur first impression of 32.
Tested the 24 pro at the WACOM experience center in Portland...absolutely loved it. Compared to my 22HD the pen and the sharpness of the screen sold me. Buying one. Thanks for the video.
But seriously, I've been saving money for a new cintiq, and finally I'll be able to get one in christmas!! I think the 24 is the sweet spot for most people with limited space.
24 vs 32, that is the question. Used an intuos 5 M mainly, and used a cintiq HD 22 at the office. I never liked the low resolution of the older and wanted to wait for 4K. An there they are! But I think 24 might be too small, I found the 22 to be to small alswell. But with the 32 It will be a hard time to arrange a keyboard in some way to use it. Any thoughts about that? Cannot help and decided which device would be the better option.
Aaron, do you think the 32 is practical for the average professional, or is it more geared to people that want to have that canvas type size for painting and very broad strokes? I just worry that it would be too big and would cause a lot of unnecessary arm, head, and eye movement for most designer/animators.
The 32 is pretty big. I can see it being too big for some folks. The 24 is probabaly a better choice for the average professional, but it does feel a bit small. That may be because I'm used to the 27.
Aaron Rutten forgot about the 27! Yeah I’ll prob go with that. Currently been working with the iPad Pro 12.9, but obviously it’s limited in what applications you can use. Thanks for the response!
Cintiq Pro 24 is the sweet spot for 4K. It’s all about pixels per inch. There are currently three Wacom displays that support 4K: Cintiq Pro 16, 24, and 32. The 16 has a whopping 275ppi. The 24 has 183ppi, and the 32 has 137ppi. The Pro 24 has that sweet spot of 183ppi, it’s not too much and not too less for the screen real estate you get. The Pro 16 is too small a screen to boast that many pixels and it makes everything too small. The Pro 32 gives you lots more room but doesn’t really excel at 137ppi, you’ll start seeing those pixels more.
Man..... That Cintiq 32 Pro screen..... I saved up for the Cintiq Pro 24 finally. So I am going with that model. I have classes coming up that I need the Cintiq for now. Maybe i'll get the larger version after I graduate.
Aaron, I'm sitting smack dab on top of the fence here on this issue and about to make my purchase - 24" or 32" pro? You commented on texture differences and seemed to prefer the 24" for the more natural tooth sensation. Have you had any more recent insights regarding your comparison? If money and weight are taken out of the equation and you had to choose - which one would you? Size does matter in "potential" for drawing freedom and scale to me but as I have only ever used a 10-year-old smaller Wacom tablet anything is going to feel like a light speed jump ahead in quality and experience. You also mentioned (I believe) that you felt as if the edges were underutilized on the larger size as most people tend to work in the center of the tablet. Does that still hold true in how you use yours? I'm an Architect so most of my day to day work is done on a screen in front of me with a mouse and keyboard. However, in addition to doing graphic design I am thinking the Cintique may let me get back more to the old school way of actually sketching out early design concepts but now will instantly be doing so in vector format and no more scanning and tracing. That will be a nice leap in efficiency right into 3D! Part Two of my inquiry would then be the type support? Wacom Arm or stand? I also saw your video on the "zoot" (I believe that was the name) but as that is still experimental, I can't really wait for that. I'd really like to make a decision soon so please comment when you can. I'd greatly appreciate and value your input here. Thank You!
Personally, I find the 32 just too big. I was lucky in getting a 24" a few months ago; however, once I got my hands on a MSP 16", I found it much more appealing to sit on my couch and draw or lay in bed and work. I tend to experience a wave of guilt when I glance over at my Cintiq and see the dust building up, though I'm wondering if shelling out the extra cash for the arm or stand might make it seem less stationary.
Sali from Switzerland... Ihave a question...I will buy WC 24...but Iam not sure which Model...with Touch or not. Do I need the Touch? What are the advantage from Touch over non Touch? Maybe you can help me a little bit. Thank you very much....
I'm planning on buying a 24" one sometime in the near future... at least when I've saved up enough... 🤗 what laptop would you recommend for a graphic designer? maybe cheapest to most expensive? or ok quality to best?
I have a question please respond. I’m majoring in graphic design and been looking for a tablet wats ur advice on this as I’d be only able to afford the 13” model. I want to be able to draw like I do with my pencil and I think this would help wat so u think?
Great job Aaron. When you go deeper into your review of the 32" could you comment if it is a worthwhile upgrade for owners of the 27QHD - cost versus performance/size gain. I think I know the answer but would like your opinion.
Hi, do you know where’s the best place to find a detailed instruction set up rather than the pictures on the top of the box? Also, is there a preferred cable choice for best results as it comes with every option going? Thanks for your video. Ben

Do the Touch versions allow multi-finger touch input, say for instance, if I use the onscreen keyboard or Control panels can I actually hold down a series of modifier keys/buttons (e.g. command+opt+shift) and it will allow the multi-touch like for an onscreen keyboard shortcut?
How responsive is the touch in general for pinch/zoom, rotate, pan, etc.? I’ve heard Wacom has had trouble in the past with getting this feature running well. That and being able to do onscreen key combo commands could be the impetus for getting the Touch version of the 24”, tho I’m concerned that I may miss my 27”’s size(?)
I'll cover that in my review. I have to test it in more apps. The touch issue is to do with Windows updates interfering with Wacom drivers. Every time Wacom fixes it with a driver, a new Windows update seems to break things again.
Crap dude. I've been pondering this for quite a while and you just convinced me to spend the extra $1000 on the 32. Thanks a lot. I'll tell my wife it's your fault.
Hi, just wondering which would you recommend out of the two? I was planning to get the 32 at first , but been having second thoughts as wacom at my country only has a 1 year warranty period. I can only afford one of these and I want to make sure I get the right one. Which one do you think is the better deal? Please advise thanks!
It's really just the size that is the difference. The 32 is pretty big, probably too big for some folks. From what I hear, most people are happy with the 24.
Whoever paid for these and lent them to you, do they want to be my friend as well? 😂 They are amazing, I want the 32 with built in computer so bad I am considering either selling a kidney or one of my children if anyone is interested 😂 Seriously though I can’t wait to see you draw on them properly.
Ah... I was really afraid of that. I really don't understand why they need to put fans in it. I have a 4K monitor over here and it barely gets warm. Ill watch your upcoming review! Thanks for replying.
