    After Test Driving a Tesla, prepare to write a check to buy one. They are addicting as hell. And it is REALLY noticeable when going back to a gas car.

    You are right about needing the experience to understand these cars - a whole new level of the driving experience. I hired a Model S for the weekend about a month ago (here in the UK). After returning the car, I had to drive my Kia back home - and what a disappointment in comparison. Spent the next few days depressed... really miss that car. Now, I have to get one. Just have to... amazing car.

      Tag Makers Pet Tags exactly! As Elon says, after driving a Tesla everything else feels like a horse and carriage. It’s got it all looks, tech, performance, and yeah it’s nice to be on the right side of history aka global warming.

      Nashville Exotic Cars lol I might be a bit biased. I have two Teslas. A performance 3 since October and a long range x I got 3 weeks ago. Anytime man! 👌🏾

      Nashville Exotic Cars that is the perfect Tesla combo. No need for an S in my opinion. I shuttle around the kids and grandparents in the x and the 3 is for my own fun driving.

    I bought a Model 3 LR with FSD at the end of July. We loved it so much my wife wanted one. The X was our dream car but out of our price range. So last week we took delivery of a Model 3 SR + with no options. Tesla is addicting. Have fun with you X!

    Thank you! Great video. I too am completely blown away with autopilot. Its hard to wrap your head around letting the car drive itself. I have been in heavy San Francisco traffic in NOA with the car changing lanes by itself and changing freeways on its own. Wow!

    Until you drive it and I did when I ordered last week, you will be blown away. I passed a car going 60 like it wasn’t moving. Can’t wait to get it, I’m trading in my 2018 Lincoln Naviagtor for this beast

    Is this the new raven version? How’s the ride and highway noise compared to your 7 series? I’ve heard Tesla’s tend to be noisy on the highway.

    • @Driven-Productions
      @Driven-Productions  3 года назад

      They can have more wind noise than a 7 series, and because it’s so quiet you do hear more of the rattles and creaks.

    BTW you can already make the car exit its parking and come meet you at a shopping mall door or anywhere virtually but the car needs to be at a maximum of 200 meters away

    Is the performance worth 20 grand more. I'm fixing to buy a model X, Good Lord Willing, but I test drove a pirofmormance and the salesman said he could have set it on regular mode. Now I don't want to drive 3 hours to see the difference. This might be a deal breaker. SO CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON THE SPEED? I do know the performance is TRULY the fastest car I ever drove, almost got away from me. HELP!

      We now own two P100D cars, but at the end of the 100D is plenty fast.

  • @ruslanabbasov5668
    @ruslanabbasov5668 4 года назад

    You should do long distance test drive. Charge it 100% and then drive 75-80 miles an hour on high way and see how many miles you can go before you gotta stop to charge. With My model 3 I can go 210-230 miles even tho it’s rated for 310 miles.

    • @Driven-Productions
      @Driven-Productions  4 года назад

      Ruslan Abbasov you are so right I’m honestly not sure how the EPA got these to rate so high. One commenter did suggest putting the car in “range mode” and that has helped some but not night and day.
      Not sure if you have seen my latest video on the Model X P100D which is now my new daily. That thing is rated similar range, but I have not been able to get anywhere near that yet.
      80% to 10% gets me roughly 130 miles averaging high 400 kW mile. Grant you this has the 22’s and all the performance goodies, still I expected higher range. Maybe if I put it in sport mode only and baby the throttle I can get to 220 on a full charge.
      Overall, I love the Tesla P100D because let’s face it 130 miles is more than enough for my daily needs and it’s a crazy fast and capable family ride. The issue is on those longer road trips though. We will have to continue to rely on an ICE vehicle for those duties.

    • @ruslanabbasov5668
      @ruslanabbasov5668 4 года назад

      Nashville Exotic Cars yes for daily 130 miles is good. But i wonder how many miles it would go on a highway? I’m thinking of buying one not P just normal 100D but I worry about how many miles I can drive straight without stopping on highway and how long will take to charge on supercharger before I get on the road again.

    Sounds like this is your first date with a Tesla vehicle as you called it a gas pedal. You are typical of those people that hate Tesla until they drive one. Hey "Guy" I'm glad you have come over to the other side.

    • @Driven-Productions
      @Driven-Productions  5 лет назад

      Lance J. Danks appreciate the comment and can see how you would say that. Truth is first introduction to Tesla was a P85 Model S that a good friend had. He let me drive it and I pushed it. Was so fast even back then in 2016. Liked it so much my wife and I went to look at one. At that time, the prices were even higher than today, and the tech and quality was not quite there. We passed, and got an Audi A8 for her, and I got a hybrid Q50S which was close enough and cost less than half. But, now with the self driving tech and they have worked a lot of their quality issues out plus lowered the price, it was worth another look for sure.

    It’s too bad people cant also realize the pollution produced by gas cars right by your nose. That’s not exactly great for your health. (As a former gas sports car owner). It’s also nice to have the performance and even braking without the annoyance of the wear and tear of gas engines and brakes.

      M C yes I’ve been working to sell them without losing too much. But Tesla stock market cap being currently (at over 420 billion) is now worth more than Toyota, Ford, GM, Audi and BMW combined - which to say the least is fully priced and then some.
