You the man, John Boogle!!!! I tried and failed the slow beam rush strat so many times that I was beginning to think I'd never pass the level. I was tearing my hair out! Took a few tries to get your strat right, but it absolutely worked! Legend!
Thank you good sir. This was the only way I could do it. Took eraser cat out for Juvens, but otherwise followed as best as I could and finally got this stage cleared. I'm a fan! :)
Btw make sure to bring jameira (20+80) or any cat that can survive and knockback so it can knockback clionel so he can kill all your cats and all the relic doges hit the rest of the injured cats, ok? Boogle prob forgot to put that in 😏
@@treeddog4121 once you reach 20+40-50 normals, you can pretty much start to power creep the stage even without any rares, super rares, or ubers. All you have to do is time a bahamut in the beginning after you lure the R.ost and have killed the peons, let R. Ost attack once and then send out A bahamut. This works because R. Ost actually only hits on the first time his head goes down and the second time is a dud. So if you let you get something first then immediately send out A. Bahamut, you should be able to get at least a hit or 2 in, which will make a big difference if you do. After that use M and normal dragon (dancer also works) to kill of the R. Ost if it isn’t dead already. If you do this early enough, bahamut should be recharged by the time the next R. Ost is lured and ready. Hopefully this helps
This level was painful. Main issue I had was Bahamut just barely clipping Clionel's attack and getting one shot. Required some really weird timing but eventually I managed
Thanks man for your strategy! I completed it mid SoL! Although I didn't have Maglev TF, level 40 and higher leveled normal eraser. I managed to beat it with an Attack Up Small Combo, lvl 41 Ramen with some HP talens, lvl 38 Manic Eraser, lvl 33 Can Can with double bounty, lvl 30 Maglev (not tf), Manic Flying lvl 28, lvl 34 Seafarer, A. Bahamut, but the one that probably carried me the most was lvl 30 Ushi.
I would not reccomend this strategy, I do the exact same things with him with level 30-50 units and they don’t do anything… here’s a rundown TO PROVE it. Beginning flawless, perfect no probs, then here’s when we hit the base, that goes good, but then suddenly, I kill the hippoe, approach Clionel, but OH SUDDENLY, hippoe comes out in front, giving clionel a chance to kill everything! Oh shut up you just go extremely fast to rush it! Nope, even if you make it, the same things happen over and over again, he gets knocked back, hippoe moves up in front, and yeah everything dies. Your thinking, OH just stall until everything’s gone, that don’t work. There’s 8 hippies that spawn across 200-300 seconds, and 24 FUCKING relic doves spawn, That OVER 3million damage you have to have dealt and you have to deal it quickly. In this run, Boogle had incredible RNG with remix doves and ESPECIALLY hippoes spawning EXTREMELY late. Keep scrolling and skip this guide.
for me the angel hippoe always ends up behind clionel and when the damage knock back comes my units get stuck on it and then it all goes downhill i've done 10 runs and 400 present cat hits in total and not a single freeze proc out of 400 attacks in total
Honestly in a couple minutes I'm gonna try a strat using cool japan the meatshields can can bullet train and a baha because cat's gift has successfully frozen clionel ONCE and froze everything else twice
One thing this guide fails to mention is that if you happen to ROYALLY SUCK at timing the cat canon to protect bahamut, you’re basically screwed. It’s all in the timing, and if you don’t have good timing (like me) it won’t work. What’s so damn frustrating is it seems like EVERY other strategy for this level relies on bahamut, and thus on timing. Meaning if you suck at timing, none of the guides will work for you.
dude this is a guide, you don’t need a specific units for this, although some specific ones may be better, there are still alternatives that are potentially better

Hey man tried this exact strat like 20 times and it didn't work but Lucas' worked on the first try. This strategy is just way too lucked based and there are so many ways it can go wrong. I would have Clionel on his last 2nd to last knock-back but the hippo would just move forward and my stack could never kill it in time. If you ever cover another strategy I would recommend a rushing one because if you time it right you pretty much instantly win.
This stage is a big joke. It is 100 times easier than the last one. With Balrog and other level 40's I first tried it with the speed up being on almost the entire time. The last one was tough though and took me a bit. Thanks !

I cleared the stage with the same lineup but I used Saber instead of cats gift and she did really well and helped kill Clionel after bahamut died

You can just rush with bahamut at the start and rush down clionel immediately. You just have to use slow beam so peons don't get in the way.
