This is the best looking Escape they have made. It is a very nice SUV.

Congrats! I love mine too.
My biggest gripe is the placement of the engine start stop button, that’s where the radio volume button should be.

Last week my sister had a 2023 Ford Escape as a rental. She had to get used to the dial automatic transmission. I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I just loved the smooth ride and using Apple Car Play. It did took me a couple of weeks to get used to driving the vehicle. For me getting in a newer one will be easy for me.

Being familiar with normal, sport and eco on watercraft I wonder how it compares to this car? I almost always drive in sport mode on my Sea Doo. How does normal compare to sport on this Escape. We have a 2016 1.5 SE and are considering a 2023 2.0. Ford has a good stock and is giving incentives.

Very underrated smaller budget SUV right now in my opinion.
I just realized you appear to be at elevation... I think this completely changes the experiences you have with various vehicles (turbo will feel much much better than N/A for example). Do you know what the elevation/density altitude is there? This isn't a problem or anything, its more of a point of reference for me living here at sea level.
You know I hate Ford right now but this is a cool product. Still, maybe a few grand overpriced but not that far off compared to basically all Ford's trucks and SUVs. Cool little crossover.
I just looked at a '23 Escape ST Line Elite and it's not enough of an improvement over my 2020 Escape Titanium 2.0 turbo for me to trade. It is true the 2.0 Ecoboost and 8 speed is a little hotrod, but is surprisingly efficient without trying hard. Highly recommended the '23 Escape only if you get the 2.0 Ecoboost. The others engines are ok.
We feel the same. I really like the interior, but it’s not leather. I normally like wood accents but the Escape gets away with it. If it’s had a standard sunroof and folding mirrors it would be a no brainer. A heated windshield would be nice also.
Talk about engines, the 23 has the new MPC engine it too. Funny how nobody talks about that. The 1.5, 2.0, and 2.3 all have been redesigned and are now known as Modular Power Cylinder. What the best part of that? Well, it's now dual injection.

Would like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, but I have to pay almost 38k for the Platinum trim… no thanks…
Just got my 2023 St-Line Elite. Is it just me or is the start up noise loud on these vehicles. Once it gets driving its quiet. Just kinda weird.
The 23s got the new MPC engine. The best part of that is its dual injection now, unlike the 22s and under.

I still am always taken back to that line from Arrested Development where George Bluth goes to buy a car when he's out of prison and he picks an Escape. The dealer says "yeah, we're really trying to get away from that whole OJ Bronco thing" LMAO

I think you meant to say the ST. The ST Line was always just a appearance package. The ST Line trim just gave the appearance of the ST without the performance. The ST Line was always slower than the ST. It's like Hyundai and the N and N line. The N is the actual performance version, while the n line is basically making it look fast, but it's just a normal car with a cooler appearance.

The 6 speed is more powerful than that 8 speed I eat new Escapes up. Maybe because I still have that bomb multi link suspension with excellent squat position. But Ford Escapes High Torque and 4wd wins. 😊
